in regard to wisdom, you said my vote on them looked bad and i understand why; my dismissiveness comes from the fact that i'm fine with killing wisdom today. the reasoning boq gave earlier which i agreed with isn't enough to keep defending wisdom at this point

i still think that boq defending wisdom here is silly from him if he's a wolf, regardless if wisdom is a wolf or not. i now see that robyn has rescinded their claim, so ignore the point about the md result on boq because it's no longer relevant. i agree with you in that the self-vote was bad. the thing i find the wolfiest about boq is his handling of the read on rask, because he's alluded to it multiple times without presenting an actual case that makes sense, and he isn't finding wolves elsewhere. having only one wolfread and that wolfread being questionable is wolfy. if he's right about rask, then he's always town (and most likely, so is visor), but if he's town, then he isn't treating his own read seriously it seems. he said he would revisit it and i don't think he has, so now i once again don't know what his reads are.

for what it's worth, boq and visor aren't both wolves, because in that universe they treated raskol almost exactly the same and they wouldn't mirror their positioning so much as w/w. i dislike the handling of this read from both, however, and i wouldn't be surprised if one was a wolf trying to get people to suspect and question raskol. the lack of getting people on their side, and the lack of properly explaining, is questionable -- neither of them seems to care about their read. it just seems to exist.

with the pr result being rescinded, i have the following question for everyone (and i'm bolding it so that it's seen): are there any reasons you think wisdom might be town? this is an important question, so please answer it.

First time this day phase it's been hell writing on phone when the textbox zooms in so bad you can barely see half the word you're currently writing

I have a meeting in 15min but I'll see if I can get at least something done before that, I'm at least caught up, and after the meeting I'm home for the rest of the day, hopefully this sinking ship is still saveable!

First of all, just gotta say that I'm quite tilted by Robyn. She's doing the same "I'm bored and restless" kind of schpiel I've seen her done multiple times, the fake MD claim is just a testament to that. At this point I wouldn't be too surprised if she flips wolf, because I have no idea how that was supposed to help town even from her PoV, but it doesn't really matter. However - If she's wolf then her going ham trying to get a town misyeeted (me) is the best thing she can do as wolf. I don't think she's done much else than just focusing me.

However, I find the tunnel itself to fit her town game. In that meta though it's worth noting that she always wolf reads me regardless of my alignment and her talk about my wolf meta is just made up nonsense that's been proven wrong time and time again and she doesn't care about self reflecting because she just wants to be loud and I'm a player that is easier to be loud about, I have a playstyle (especially on phone) that's easy to just call wolfy and no one can really argue with it (I'm looking at Boq, Vulgard and Cape who I believe found me for the right reasons and then all seems to have just given up due to peer pressure or something. I do believe there could be a wolf in there though.)

Well I am glad I didn't come off too jerky about it at least. Your Boq/Visor point makes me curious, do you have any other unaligned pairs with Boq? How narrow or large is the suspect pool to you if we flip Boq and it's a hit, I suppose is my curiosity here. The Visor/Boq angle is one I can understand for example.

I mentioned Boq, Vulgard and Cape earlier as well and let's see if I can say something about them in ~7min.

Vulgard - I read his Achro being a wolf due to RP case and it felt to me like a "this makes sense for town to say so I'm gonna push it" kind of read. Like someone else pointed out breaking your RP tends to be towny although of course a wolf can use that knowledge to their advantage and Achro's someone who's played enough to use that well. Vulgard's push - wolfy, Achro's RP - NAI.

I've wolf read Achro because he doesn't have any strong pushes, just a lot of words, and I don't trust that. Vulgard is similar in the sense that he has a lot of posts but is just mainly under the radar, in addition to that push being wolfy + I don't know what to make of him not sticking to his guns when I'm wagoned.

Doubt they are wolves together though.

Cape - I found him extremely towny d1 and he just threw out a lot of large posts with solvyness and high WIM and I feel like he's lost that a bit today. This reminded me of how he played in a Syndicate game where he fooled me. I don't have much else on him though, but I don't feel as confident on him being town anymore.

Boquise - Another one that's unusually under the radar. I've been thinking that he's been in a similar position as me though, busy life and plays mafia when circumstances allows. That makes it harder to see if it's towny "not caring" or wolfy awkwardness, but something definitely sticks out. I still lean wolf but again not as confident.

I wonder, what qualifies as a "strong push" to you? I feel as if I have established reads over the two days and been thoughtful with them. I haven't run anyone over because I don't think this game is meant to run anybody over in. Although apparently a single post earlier was enough for Lapras to compare me to Charlie Day. A post, if I recall, you were supposed to give thoughts on at my request and which you never did. I suppose, yes, I don't have any 'strong pushes' if you just ignore my attempts at them. I know you'll have time today, but also it has already been a day since I asked for this feedback.

As I said day 1 though, I am taking some advice someone I respect a lot gave me about how to play among a lot of strong players and tbh I think I am playing well so far, just a matter of read accuracy.

And like, yeah, you could be right, you're just being more people pleasing than I'm used to see from you. Being less aggressive than one usually is as town is to me a wolf tell, which is why I've noticed it. But I honestly have no idea about your wolf game and don't really care about pushing you harder right now.

I must admit though, that your walls were hard to read on phone and I skimmed most of them, so my perception of what you've done this game isn't fully fair.

I even have a weak memory of pushing you for the same thing in a different game or mash and you turned out to be town, now that I think about it, so my confidence on you just gets worse the more I think about it.

Well the last time you saw me play I was in so much pain I got incredibly cranky and took a 4 month break from mafia, you might be used to seeing me even more cranky than average!
