While a controversial choice for Duke, he was always a voice of wisdom in the Diet. The only ones who really hated him were the Hamburgs, those nubs.

Fred didn't like him much. But Jan didn't really have a problem with Gunther. DG wasn't online much when I joined so Jan and Gunther never really interacted. Then Gunther died fairly early in Jan's career. But, if you check the voting records, Gunther even voted for Jan's mercy CA. Jan always appreciated that. It was Ansehelm, and later Fritz, that Jan couldn't stand. Jan liked Siegfried and Peter (though Jan wished Peter would stop slaughtering people.) Jan simply kept up a fake feud with Peter at Elberhard's request so Peter could infiltrate the Order.
