Most certainly, I am Uhura, the comms officer. If I was in the brig I wouldn't have been able to hear the votes from the players stuck on the planet, so their votes wouldn't have counted. Now they are back it is irrelevant of course. I hadn't intended for it to come across as a threat, more a friendly piece of advice.

Re: Star Trek VI--The Undiscovered Mini-Mafia
Apparently there are some people with abilities. Does everyone else have one?
If so, why not use them to determine guilt, rather than the blind lynch.
-
Re: Star Trek VI--The Undiscovered Mini-Mafia
Atheotes is abstaining to maintain his low-profile, lynch him before he lurks his way to victory.

Vote: abstain for now
Of course, since Valeris was the traitor in the movie, your probably a good lynch. But that would be a bit obvious, I think.
-
Re: Star Trek VI--The Undiscovered Mini-Mafia
I believe the host said something about revealing our identities being a bad idea?
Perhaps that relates to the obviousness of guilt of a certain party.

You just proved it! Iskander said "it might not be an idea to reveal" because of startrek lore folk.
You just proved it, thanks Tratorix *hugs him* now vote for him.

But then revealing would only be a bad idea for the mafia. Also, if atheotes was guilty, he probably would have claimed a different role.

but I didn't know who Valeris was, what is to say that he knew? (that is was an obvious mafia role to the lore folk)

Like who?
And I believe it might have been the host retroactively realizing... hey... this game will be over real quick if everyone reveals.

Well, he could have claimed Sulu as at least some of the people here don't seem to know Sulu wasn't on the Enterprise in Star Trek VI. :juggle2: Atheotes is probably the best lynch, I'm just nervous because it seems like everything is neatly wrapped up, meaning we're probably missing something.

Re: Star Trek VI--The Undiscovered Mini-Mafia
or that, follow Beskar, you win the game. My Mafia senses are tingling.

Re: Star Trek VI--The Undiscovered Mini-Mafia
atheotes lurks to much for my taste, and isn't ridiculous enough to lurk like I do. Thus, I am not a hypocrite.
Vote: atheotes.

End Day 4
The votes were counted, and Valeris (atheotes) was chosen to be administered the truth serum.

"No. You humans can have your drugs," said Valeris, determined to explain herself.
"Very well, we'll lock her in the brig if she's guilty and beam the key overboard," said Kirk.
"You have betrayed the Federation. All of you."
"What do you think you've been doing?" asked McCoy.
"Saving Starfleet. You said so yourself, Captain. 'Klingons cannot be trusted.' And you were right. They conspired with us to assassinate their own Chacellor. How trustworthy can they be?"
"Who is 'us'? Names, Lieutenant."
"Everyone who stands to lose from peace."
"Names, Lieutenant."
"I do not remember," she said defiantly.
Spock then approached her, forcing his hands onto her face in a mind-meld. The two spoke in unison.
"Starfleet Admiral Cartwright...Klingon General Chang...Romulan ambassador Nanclus..."
"Klingons and Federation members, conspiring together?" asked McCoy.
"Another onboard...traitor..."
"Who?" demanded Kirk. "Who is the other onboard traitor?"
Spock dug deeper into her mind. Valeris let out a scream. Spock finally pulled back, both Vulcans in agony. :vulcan:
"She does not know," said Spock.
"Then we're all dead," bemoaned Scotty.
"I've been dead before," said Spock. "We have one more traitor to uncover. Let us not lose focus."
Valeris smiled. She had fallen, but knew that the conspiracy was more important than her. Even behind bars, there may still be victory.
Later, one of the missing phasers was found after a thorough search of her quarters.
Atheotes is in the brig and permanently out of the game.
Begin Night 4. The round will end at 1800 PST SUNDAY (0100 GMT MONDAY), or whenever everyone gets their night orders in, whichever comes first

Re: Star Trek VI--The Undiscovered Mini-Mafia
I told you to trust my theory :beam: I got us a traitor!
-
Re: Star Trek VI--The Undiscovered Mini-Mafia
Now I FOS: All those who didn't vote, or kept denying my theory.
-
Re: Star Trek VI--The Undiscovered Mini-Mafia
I argued with you as you insisted your theory proved atheotes was the traitor, I was arguing it didn't prove it, but I didn't say your theory had no merit.
-
Re: Star Trek VI--The Undiscovered Mini-Mafia
Night is over. Write-up will come after I send night action results. Please, do not comment here until I post the write-up.

Night 4
https://img33.imageshack.us/img33/60...trek031024.jpg
Klaxons began ringing all over the ship. Someone had shut down the warp core! Everyone was ordered to immediately return to their quarters.
In the morning, the officers discussed what had happened.
"No damage reported, ser," said Scotty.
"No unusual activity seen on security wideos," reported Chekhov. "All hands returned to quarters after the alarm was sounded."
"Suggestions?" asked Kirk.
"If everyone did return to quarters, and all crew was accounted for, and no damage was sustained, then logic suggests that this may have happened for our protection, rather than our hindrance," suggested Spock.
"Some relief that is," said McCoy, sarcastically. "Why don't you use your darned logic to find out who the other traitor is, instead?"
Begin Day 5. You have until 1800 PST Monday (0100 GMT Tuesday) to vote
-
Re: Star Trek VI--The Undiscovered Mini-Mafia
Can anyone shed some light on what happened last night?
-
Re: Star Trek VI--The Undiscovered Mini-Mafia
I hope I was right in the write-up, though I think it was the work of our engineer.
I am going to vote: John , he is so jumpy and defensive and it is the only time I seen him be like this. He has to be covering for himself, plus his reluctance to vote for Atheotes is a factor as well.

Re: Star Trek VI--The Undiscovered Mini-Mafia
Lads, that was me, I basically locked down the ship blocking all actions beneficial or otherwise.Aye, I can do that every night, the only problem is that the ensuing radiation will kill me. But I´m an old man, the only thing I need is a bottle of scotch and to find the traitor in our midst.
-
Re: Star Trek VI--The Undiscovered Mini-Mafia
Yeah, problem is you messed up my investigation results. I investigated John last night because of his behaviour and it got cancelled because of you and I really don't want to lynch some one else.
Anyway, John, your vote was last second, just before the round was over, so you can bring it up now to cover your tracks. You are far too jumpy and defensive, you usually rarely post at all. You was really jumpy around Atheotes too. I don't want to take the risk.
-
Re: Star Trek VI--The Undiscovered Mini-Mafia
Well you wasted it. Now I can't even vote.
