OK, I'll explain:
>CUIDADO CON ESO MUERTO VIVO!
Eso: demonstrative pronoun
ese: demonstrative adjective
By using the pronoun, you're leaving out 'muerto vivo' as a vocative. ;)
Hail Grammar!

Re: Resident Evil 2: DISCUSSION THREAD
Unfortunately, I just got called in to work for about an hour or two.
Apparently, I can't even have one day off.
I am out of there as soon as their situation is contained. I'm not doing a shift. I'm putting out a fire.
Be back in a couple hours. Writeup will be done about an hour after that, hopefully sooner. Sorry guys.

Re: Resident Evil 2: DISCUSSION THREAD
Please don't get injured or anything! This is both for selfish reasons of wanting this game to go and for seriously not wanting you to get hurt.

Logging back in.
Panicky panicky panicky. They only really needed to dispatch those orders intelligently to get them out on time.
Well I'm back and my dinner is free. So, wasn't so bad.
Back to work on the writeup.

I estimate 20 full cycles, or 40 phases, give or take 5.
So, months and months.
Future phases will go much more quickly and smoothly than the first few.

The quicker you turn yourself into Skynet ATPG, the quicker we get this going!:whip:

Re: Resident Evil 2: DISCUSSION THREAD
I targeted Visor with my ultrascan and he registered as Godfather.
vote: Takhisis because this is obviously a cunning plan, and by cunning, I mean pretentious and not actually cunning - which would be just like Tak.

We can't risk the possibility that we're letting him live with such WIFOM. Even if he's a vengeful lynchee or a jester, we have to lynch him. vote: Double A

Re: Resident Evil 2: DISCUSSION THREAD
You know, it's almost midnight and I've been at this since 7am. I took a break, got delayed by work, but that's gonna have to be a day, for me. My mind's turning to jelly when I try to piece together the update cards. It's almost done, I just have to insert a description of where you are, how sturdy the buildings, an approximate image of your surroundings, and list off all the people and zombies you see.
I already have update cards with your previous orders, your current stats, your inventory, the item you found, your new location, and so forth, but.... I can't bring myself to juggle the 4 or 5 windows I need to have open to slip in the rest of your (absolutely vital and necessary) data. I can't send out the cards without it, and I can no longer concentrate enough to slog through. The lapses in concentration are slowing me down, and I don't have hours left in me. Therefore I should sleep first before tackling it.
I'll do much better for Movement Phase Two, I already see several time-savers which will help me get this done hours sooner. But for right now, I'm going to cry uncle until I get some sleep.
I gave you guys an extension, now I need one. :laugh4: just barely, but I do. Can't quite make it to the finish line.

I didn't foresee which parts of the update cards I needed to have done ahead of time. Which I could have done simultaneously with other tasks.
The only way to work out the bugs is to run through the list one by one and find out what needs to be better for next time.
Now that I have character card / update card templates created and alphabetized for every one of the 51 players, I could easily input and output the data contained within.
From this point onward, it is essentially copying a list and editing it as I go, as opposed to piecing it together from multiple sources (role Pm source, orders thread, search results thread, battle results thread, map/movement thread....) which took freaking forever.
Don't get me wrong, what I have to do every round will still take the better part of a day, but it won't be still going 3/4 of a day into it.
Since there's still stuff remaining that only the primary Host can do, I can't even pass the ball to my co-hosts, who ordinarily would be running it into the endzone for me. Think I gotta finish this one off myself, work out how and where I can pass the ball along for next phase so there won't be a delay of this type again.

No worries ATPG. Take a day off if you need it.
