The honourable warrior seems to be targetted for his talkativeness and his unfortunate habit of offering himself as a first round lynch (it catches up with you eventually)
Great warrior ATPG, take your vote of yourself, and hopefully you may have the chance to die like a true warrior in battle instead!!
Bear in mind ATPG is in 2 of the 4? challenges, so theres a 50% chance we get to see ATPG fighting anyway...
though i don't like the tib lynch either... he said things before the roles were given out!
Glenn was drunk... and obvious sign of mafia...?
Sasaki... *sigh* always in the first round lynch list somewhere near the top...
My lynch is obviously the only good one ~;)

I'd be willing to give tib a pass for remaining cool under pressure...but to do so would possibly underestimate him, and ignores the fact that if he were mafia he would have several people who could bail him out.
You may call the case weak if you want, but we have to make the best case we can each round with the info available.
A true Samurai would welcom the challenge of fighting against honourable foes in a noble duel - clearky ATPG's attempt to worm his way out of such a thing shows his lack of courage at best, and despicable lack of honour, and hence must not be a true Samurai, at worst.

*The veteran walks away to look at the beautiful mountain scenery outside the hall in which they are gathered*
No true Scotsman argument. And by the way, under orders from my master, I am prepared to die; and I have challenged a cowardly traitor here. It is you who know nothing of the ways of the samurai, if you cannot see this. When my master destroys you, he will do the world a service.
What is a "Scotsman"? Mind explaining to a poor grizzled warrior what it is? :embarassed:
Let's not forget there is no case in the first round, we seldom have any information to go on unless a detective get's lucky - which is unlikely in such a big game.
Although, ATPG, I don't understand why you'd want to challenge a player so early on in the game ? Surely this is playing with fire ?
:balloon2:
When ATPG gets votes, he often goes through motions like this in an attempt to convince people he's innocent. I bet if you looked back at his previous games, you'd find that in the majority of rounds when he's under pressure, he ends up voting for himself (and usually later unvoting). It's an usual method of playing and has gotten him lynched multiple times, but it's standard for ATPG.
"Hmph, what madness is this?! Look at you all, calling yourselves warriors! At each others throats, when you forget we are brothers, both on and off the battlefield! We are meant to hang together, not let paranoia engulf us!
I Vote:TiberiusBeskar
My vote will always be to abstain or to insure a tie - I will not have blood spilled for such foolishness, only in battle shall it be so!"
I'd say about 50% of the valid challenges so far involve ATPG. I think we should lay the votes off him and wait to see how he performs in a duel.
Since The Pizza Guy wants to leave, even voting for himself, I will respect his wishes to do so.

Hope to see you in another game. :beam:
I have to go play Shogun now. :2thumbsup:
He got that idea from me! But I am stronger as I have the tastily dead Late Pineapple Samurai <holds aloft the pineapple stem> and the deliciously dead Late Lord Beefy <holds aloft the beef bone> at my side.
Let us not forget we have ninja and traitors - they have the same goal perhaps but my companions are at odds over the alliance of said ne'er do wells. Pineapple thinks they work apart, the right hand ignorant of the left hand. Lord Beefy, however, feels rather boney today. And thus their debate will go on until we have more food to break the tie. Tis time to head to the Mess Hall and recruit the pizzaguy before he is lynched, slain or <licks lips> eaten.
Lastly, before I depart, if our great Lord Shingen wishes to impart some guidance upon we indecisive members of the lynch mob, it will be well received by this Trio! I'd not wish to abstain my Honour.
Tiberius, your vote shift was nothing but personal protection. That is not inherently wrong, but this far in, especially after your "whew, made it" post, just strikes me wrong....

How did you determine that? All I was able to determine in seaching was
Kawazoe = "riverside" (I think)
Sadako = a girl's name
First I was a woman (I gather now) who thought I was a man who discover he's a woman. Don't confuse the matter any more by implying I'm a reindeer.

Life's but a walking shadow, a poor player
That struts and frets his hour upon the stage
And then is heard no more: it is a tale
Told by an idiot, full of sound and fury,
Signifying nothing.

Hour of the Cock
Fujiwara Kazunari watched how the little bird tripped up and down in the cold, white carpet. The little one looked around him and picked in the snow, looking for food. All of the sudden, frightened by nothing in particular, the little bird jumped up and flew away.
Fujiwara smiled as he saw the bird, free in the sky. The little one probably already had forgotten what frightened him and was now enjoying the magnificent landscape, hardly noticing the silly little figures down there.
Allthough Fujiwara was at peace, the pain in his belly became unbearable. Before the smile could leave his face, the sword of his kaishakunin struck mercifully.
The Tiger sat silent on his platform. He nodded slowly as a gesture of respect for a good dead.
"Let us hope that he was the traitor. Good night, men."
The Tiger nodded once more, stood up and went inside.
Orders were given and the men prepared for the night.

It's now night. Orders have to reach me at 20.30 (GMT+1) at the latest (that's +/- 23h10m from this post)
:bow:
I was going to be away from the computer for 3 hours and being honest, it didn't look too well for me, so on that level, it was personal protection, however, I only changed my vote as Pizza Guy basically gave up by even changing his vote to himself to make-sure he went out and if that is what he wanted, I don't mind changing my vote for that reason (as it would have aided my safety for this round at least.)
Good news, there are 24hours of a break. Which will allow me to do revision for my exam on Wednesday, undisturbed almost. After that, it would be seeing how things play out with the Mafia.
Tactically speaking, the Mafia roles should keep me in, for the sole reason people will be after me next round opposed to them being targeted, having myself in the game would keep them safe while the townies all target me for their silly reasons. If the Mafia-roles do kill me, I have to admit, I would be surprised due to the reason I just gave. Though, they might kill me off when people realise I am not the bad guy so don't bother chasing me, then they bump me off as I am no longer needed. Either way, I doubt I would get to the end of this game, unless the Mafia are very cunning and the townies continue being silly. So when the townies keep voting for me, the Mafia would vote others to keep me in, thus, some random innocent gets killed, while the townies favourite target (me) remains in the game, the townies will keep targeting me, so the Mafia safe from harms way target the others and get them out undisturbed. :juggle2:
Then there is the figure some one used earlier, the 3% chance that I am actually a Mafia member, then obviously me remaining the game, continued continuing would also be suspicious or give people a reason to keep voting for me while my Mafia buddies keep me safe from harms way. (Very unlikely)
At the moment, I am still classed as "Deadman Walking" so nothing I say would be used as a defence, only as a reason to get me lynched. I just have to wait and see if people lay off the heat next round and actually work together to try down the real Mafia members with logic.
We have lost one of greatest samurai this night, shamed by the distrust shown in him by his fellow samurai he commited seppku in an effort to prove his ultimate loyalty to our great lord Takeda. We could all learn a lesson from such an honourable warrior.
*bows deeply*
Ah. I've missed the vote. I'll be here for the next.
Keeping track of three games while hosting another can be difficult...
Touche with Chaotix, for my sanity and for the Buddhist way please be careful when you post, I'm sure very few are going to make a habit of reading through 300 new posts each time they come on.....
<head bowed>
We lost an honourable samurai today. Fortunately, I'm good at finding things. The truly Late Atpg will live on as part of my expanding sub-clan Fodo. <holds aloft a pizza crust> I shall carry his family crust with Honour.
<lifts eyes and looks around>
The search is on again. <heavy sigh> Beskar seems to have lost his Tiberius, but I'm on it! Really! What an awkward time to lose a name. How am I ever to find ninjas and traitors if I'm looking for this other stuff? Um, can anyone tell me what a Tiberius looks like?
<A pineapple stem, beef bone, pizza crust and a vegetable wait for an answer that won't come. Afterall, if this brain trust doesn't know, who else possible could? So off they go, four samurai and several flies>
Hey! I can do a good impression of Mr. T too!
Well, apparentry I can't type with an accent anymore, because when the politically correct readers at home sound out my words, they appear to be racially discriminative.
What a shame! Ha erse can I act rike shapanez?
Nevermind, I only typed in such a manner because I thought the first round would be pure nonsense anyway.
But although the lynch choices were unfounded and wrong, I really enjoyed reading the discussion that went on.
If I die tonight, it will be due to political incorrectness!
I didn't think the case against Tiberius was very strong, but he's swiftly losing my trust. He's trying to convince the mafia he's better left alive than killed. He's also changed his username, presumably to distance himself from past accusations and make himself a less likely target. He's taking self-preservation to the extremes that can hurt the Takeda clan. We can afford to lose a few innocents to the greater cause, and a samurai would be unlikely to prioritize personal survival so highly. :shame:

I rather not let my blade taste the blood of my friends... Hopefully only those who are foolish enough to attack Shingen Sama.
Anyway, while I will defend my honor with best of my abilities, if my fate is sealed then I am happy to commit Seppuku if Shingen Sama wishes so.
