Believe what you want, I couldn't care less; I was confused, I have a better grasp of the mechanics now.
As I said, I'll try to get into the flow of the game a bit more, but don't expect a huge surge of posts.

Well, according to my research, the demon is now too strong for my exorcisms to work anymore. Though I'm tempted to do one every now and then just for the comical value. Plus, my daughter loves it! Speaking of that, I don't believe she heard Secura's. scrolling up
Who do you think you are secura me?
Your right Centurion 1, BUNVOTE: Secura :laugh4:
Whoops, I'll need to extend this night phase as I've been up since 4am and it is now coming up on midnight.
Sorry. BRB nap
Sorry, don't have time to make the usual black background/red text writeup.

The fourteen survivors went to bed... not that they had a choice. They knew what was coming and seemed resigned to their fate. They hoped that when death came, it would be swift, and happen while they were unconscious. Still, being terrified made it impossible for any of them to truly rest. That's why when the grandfather clock began to chime, Captain Blackadder and Centurion1 were able to see what was happening. It was a few hours past midnight, and the clock was stuck on 33 minutes after 3am. The clock face began to glow red, and the hands on the clock began spinning counter-clockwise, chiming nine times. Then the hands came to a stop on the number nine.
Suddenly, Centurion1 became entranced. He looked straight at Captain Blackadder with a blank expression on his face. His face became distorted, and seemed to fade in and out. Then he grinned widely at Blackadder, and lay down on the dining room table, facing up. Captain Blackadder's expression went blank, and he calmly walked over to the drawers which held all the silverware and began setting the table. Centurion1 took a napkin and placed it under his chin, and Blackadder handed him a knife and fork. Then Blackadder took a knife and fork for himself and sat down at the table.
DINNER IS READY....
Both Blackadder and Centurion1's expressions twisted into malevolent, evil grins. Their eyes rolled back and became white. Blackadder stuck his fork into Centurion1's stomach, and began cutting his flesh with the knife. Centurion1 stuck a fork into his own chest and began slicing off his skin. They shoved the bloody chunks of flesh into their mouths and began chewing with delight. Oh, it was so tasty. After a while, Blackadder decided to ditch the fork and just use his hands. He reached into Centurion1's open stomach cavity and began ripping out Cent's intestines, and then shoved one end into his mouth and started swallowing it whole.
YOUR FLESH IS SO TASTY.... DON'T YOU AGREE?
Centurion1 nodded blankly and stuck a fork into his own eye, and ripped it out of his head. Then he shoved it in his mouth and began chewing. Centurion1 grabbed ahold of his ribs and ripped one of the bones from his chest. He snapped it off and shoved it in his mouth, and began crunching on it. The jagged, sharp edges began cutting up his mouth. Captain Blackadder leaned way over and began devouring Centurion1's still beating heart. Blood was shooting everywhere, and Blackadder's face pressed harder into the gushing mess, uttering a low growl that sounded more animal than human.
SAVOR EVERY DROP....
Centurion1 took his steak knife and began cutting his own neck open, spilling blood everywhere. He reached up and pushed his fingers into the open wound, and shoved his bloodied hand into his mouth and started crunching. Captain Blackadder tore Centurion1's liver and lungs from his body and began ripping them apart with his teeth. Centurion1 took his steak knife and started stabbing himself in the face, ripping it apart with each powerful thrust. Then, he shoved the knife deep into his eye socket and pushed with an inhuman amount of force, until the knife protruded from the back of his skull. Captain Blackadder began stabbing Centurion1's arms and legs, and started ripping the meat from his bones. He forced even more chunks of Centurion1's flesh into his mouth, as his own stomach nearly burst from the pressure of all that uncooked human meat.
I'M NOT DONE WITH YOU YET.... MAKE ROOM....
Captain Blackadder stood up, bent over, and shoved a finger down his throat. He emptied the contents of his stomach all over the floor, and then sat down for seconds....
Morning Seven
The others woke up to a scene too gut-wrenching to describe. Captain Blackadder sat in the chair, sobbing quietly, with blood dripping off of his face. Thermal Mercury took one look at the scene and decided that there was only one way to stop the horrors, so he grabbed the steak knife from Blackadder and cut open his own jugular vein. Then he fell to the ground and let death take him away.
The others were too in shock to even bother stopping him.
Their options remained the same... either they would continue exploring the house, or they could murder someone.

- You have until 23:59 (11:59PM) May 26th (GMT-05:00) Eastern Time (US & Canada) to place your vote for either the LYNCH or to MOVE to a different room. That is approximately 47 hours from now.
- You cannot both lynch and move in one day, so you may only choose to do one with your vote.
- I will now send out the description of the rooms you are in privately. You may interact with the room during the day phase.
- If you are going to MOVE, I will need to know where by the end of the DAY phase. I realize that it causes problems for me due to the game mechanics if the day phases creep over into the night phase. So please, send me your movements before Day is over.
Sorry Captain, but that is twice you were under a spell or something, and you killed someone. It is now time for you to die yourself.
Vote: Lynch Captain Blackadder
Another sick (but good) write up Pizza. :candle: :eeeek:
I'm not really a fan of cannibalism, myself. That one was less enthusiastic for me to write.
Thanks Pizzaguy:brood:....I was got sick reading that write-up and had to run to the washroom(I am also sick, which is also not helpful:sweatdrop:)
I don't think I will be eating anything for the next couple of hours....good write-up though:bow:
That was simply disgusting. You are a sick sick man
O.K I know this looks bad, really bad but I have no knowledge of what I am doing it seems clear that I am being possesed by something so could people do a exorcisim on me please.
The really sick person is the one deciding on the kill methods. I feel sorry for both Captain Blackadder and ATPG.
This game frightens and disturbs me.
If you need a replacement in the future I'd love to join back in Pizza rather than you having to WOG anybody else, I was disappointed at having to drop. Flipping family holidays in the sun, I'd much rather be sitting at my computer playing imaginary games about haunted houses and cannibals.
Possible break through.
Last night I was researching the history of the manor, and found out that guy in charge of building this place... Lucifuge went missing just before he completed the house.
They couldn't find his body. There is his grave near the south lawn, but there is no body under it.
Perhaps we could end the curse if we can find his body and give it a proper burial.
We still don't know how the clock and the girl is related to all this. So I'll keep searching.
As for Captain Blackadder. Give him one more night. Apparently someone must die everynight anyway.
Edit: Nevermind. Not important.
You can reclaim your place from me, if you really wish... just consider it as me keeping it warm for you. :3
Besides, the game's getting freaky; last night, Niklas and I tried to sleep... next to the Flax's corpse, complete with bloody wire hanger that can be picked up. Pass the sick bucket....
And who would want to set up Captain Blackadder?
Okay, if we don't lynch him today, he needs to be in a room by himself, maybe tied down to something. And yes, can we do an exorcism on him today, this "evil force" is getting a little too connected to him!
Vote: Move, so CB doesn't get killed from town negligence.
Can we please decide on a method of action? If CB can be exorcised, do so. If you want to test whether or not a night kill happens with a lynch, then do so. If you want to not lynch at all, then do so.
Either way, a course of action needs decided upon - I am moving towards the idea that all knowledge we currently have be shared with the dead (if possible), and not lynching until then. We can't solve the puzzle if everyone keeps hording the pieces.
Today's day seven, correct? Methos has said since the start that exorcisms only work through day six. I suppose it can't hurt for him to try.
Agreed...we are getting nowhere with just examining the mansion.
i am tempted to play this a regular mafia game given the additional info abt the kill writeups...
Guys, maybe Renata's porcelain doll possessed him.
CB, destroy the doll.
Or chicken dance the doll.
Make her scream.
EDIT: But even if we get rid of the girl, we are still going to have someone killing one of us.
Do you know how disturbed I am now its haunting me I feel a little sick
Why on earth do you think the girl and the killer are separate? No one catch the subtle hint that the killer can influence the write ups? You really believe you can trust anything the night write says about who is guilty?
Huzzah I have returned from Prom!
Read writeup, need to do more careful analysis tomorrow morning. Looks..... hm, looks like we're still being possessed, but unsure if that means we should lynch CB
vote: Move for now.
Looks like exorcism was not possible...
vote: Move
I got a result back tonight. I'm in the living room, and thought about others that tried to destroy things in the house (like the fan, lawn mower...) so I destroyed the TV and DVD...electronics, it came back as worse, now I'm having trouble breathing. So with this info, I concluded destroy everything that is or could be dangerous or harmful. Like the fan (blades) mower (blades) mirror (could be smashed and used to cut someone). Keep everything that can be good, not harmful (lights (esp. the lights-every time there is a murder, the light are suddenly turned off), soft things, entertainment things...unless it looks too personal like the doll). But somehow the dang clock can't be destroyed. I guess it is too important to the story and game. Again what the heck do the numbers mean. And I think CB stated last phase that the doll is now gone.
I guess I shall Unvote: Vote: Move as well, need to leave this living room now.
As Renata has said and as I stated in the thread, when I first gained the ability to perform exorcisms I was told the demon would be too strong after day 6, which is why I tried so hard to get White Eyes to learn how to perform them.
True and with any luck, the destruction of some items may have weakened the demon, so...
@ATPG: This is an order, I'm performing an exorcism on Capt. Blackadder.
Also, Vote: Move I'm actually getting tired of being in the computer room.
Vote: Move
Going to do a bit more research on the history of the house.
Vote: Move
Here is something to ponder, I just checked the write ups again, on the summary thread. The murders don't start until the 3rd night. Beefy replaced Zack after the 2nd night to the 3rd day. Why so soon replace an inactive player, when others now have gone longer and not been wog'd or replaced. I think Zack was the mafia and needed to be replaced soon and Beefy stepped in and the murders begin. And who was the 1st murder Flaxy. Coincidence? I think not.
Unvote: Vote: Lynch Beefy
I'm not positive, but didn't Zack ask to be replace? Either way, I still like your reasoning.
Unvote; Vote: Beefy
that is a reasonable case - atleast it gets the game moving.
unvote; Vote: Beefy
Although it may sound reasonable, I am against this. There was specific reasoning for Zack's quick replacement, which was him informing Pizza he would not be able to play at all anymore period. I also do not see how TF is related to it at all, considering neither Split nor I are dead...
Time to dance a gay Galliard, methinks. :7princess:
vote: move
I could be wrong, but I think it was Johnhughthom, (not Zack) that was the one that asked to be replaced (he also did so in many of his games- finals I think it was) and Secura replaced him and that happened, the next night, after there was already a murder.
Winston, what is up with you and all the dancing? Your making yourself suspicious!
When I joined the game, JHT had already processed his orders for the night, which was to stay in the attic for a second time with Niklas. :S
Not entirely certain what your post is suggesting, treacle. :<
YLC it is the "love affair" that they are having (that part was just the icing on the cake- the joke part of my accusation). The other part is valid.
Fine lynch me. But someone keep researching the history of the house.
Its interesting and could be the key to solve this game.
I think we should definitely not lynch anyone at this point. With (presumably) only one evil power the chances of a mislynch are simply too great for the good of the innocent cause. And it still feels like we're actually making some progress on the puzzle so that we might soon have more accurate suspicions to go on.
vote: Move
Any mirror in this house, they could be used when broken. Also knives, anything sharp... Also forks and wire hangers- The Flax's kill was with wire hangers, and Cent.1's was with a knife and fork. Just start destroying everything that could be used as a weapon. This might help weaken this "evil force" (it can't hurt anyway).
Wire hangers is also what killed the couple back in 1966. If I remember correctly they were hung by them.
o_O
I don't want to be in the bathroom anymore... I don't want that wire hanger to add my blood to it's collection.

Beefy187 was wondering what he had done to deserve any suspicion.
"I know I am always suspicious as a townie.... I make your scumdars go all bonkers." said the Beefster.
They pressed him on the poor timing of his arrival and the start of the many murderously murderous murders of murder manor.
"I guess it is true, because it has a lot of M's" said Beefmeister. "It's a fair cop. I must be guilty, so I will now commit the ritual disembowelment to satisfy your cravings for Beef Blood." he said. He took out his sword, as all Japanese carry swords. Then, he prepared to thrust it into his stomach.
"I do this for glorious Japan! For the memory of TheFlax who I wanted to make babies with! AND FOR LULZ!!!"
So he slid the sword right into his stomach, but it bounced off.
"See? Rubber sword. Hahaha fooled you." said the Beefinator. "I don't really want to commit seppuku. That looks painful." :curtain:
Then he skipped off to spread more cheer. By a slim margin, the 13 guests decided that their best move would be to investigate the manor some more. So, there was no one lynched by the group today.

I like how you're so committed to this particular joke, Beefy, that you literally wore a rubber sword in a sheath attached to your belt for the past seven days inside a haunted house (and quite possibly for years before that) just so you could pretend to commit seppuku that one time. That's dedication for you.
Something I would likely do in real life :beam:
Oh how many times I said "I'm gonna seppuku" without actually doing it.

Ouch is all I have to say...and it seems my advice was heeded too late...
However, I think I might have found a solution - there is one room in this house the guarantees safety apparently, BUT, I have no idea which room it is. Have we visited every room in the House? And if so, can anyone give a description of it? I think I'd be able to spot the room from the description, based upon what I have read from my book I got from the guest room.
Ooh, give me some time before I send out the results. *headache*
Most of you people didn't move anyway, so refer to your previous one for whats in the room. The only thing you'll notice different is new people in certain rooms.
You'll all get new room descriptions and such but just mark my word that there's nothing earth-shattering that it can't wait a few hours. This game is more involved than I thought it would be.
To me, this looks like the light almost worked. We all need to gather in 2 rooms. The biggest 2 rooms, like the living room and the master bedroom. Have like 6 in the living room and the other 5 in the bedroom. Everyone have their source of light on, whatever we have that makes light, turn it on. Take turns keeping watch maybe. We need to work together to solve this and save someone tonight. All info must be put into the thread also. If you know anything about this house, history of it's past occupants...tell us all in thread. Also did everyone destroy anything they had that could be dangerous (as I stated in previous posts)? Everyone needs to send in their orders also! You all vote to move, and then don't move. What is up with that? This "evil force" is getting very strong now, the only way to combat it is to work together!
I will go back to the living room tonight, need 5 more to join me.
I will go there was well.
This is all the info I had
1. History of the house
The house was finished construction on March 1st, in 1913 by an Irish gentleman whose name couldn't be found in any records. He died shortly after constructing it. The house was sold at auction, as the Irish gentleman had no kin and no one else claimed the property. It was bought by a man called Askthepizzaguy, later known as Askthepizzaguy Sr, who lived in that house until his death. The house passed down from one generation of Askthepizzaguy to another, until Askthepizzaguy III, his grandson, was the last surviving member of his line.
There were reports of strange happenings at the house, from the time of the first Askthepizzaguy all the way to the third, and every caretaker has reported odd and alarming sights and sounds.
In June of 1966, two guests stayed at Askthepizzaguy Manor and were dragged from their beds and hung by their throats with coat hangers. ATPG III was vacationing in Italy at the time, and those guests were close personal friends of his. After a thorough investigation, police concluded that Askthepizzaguy III had no involvement in the murder, and no motive. What was even more strange was that none of the windows were broken, and all the doors were locked. After that, Askthepizzaguy III rarely slept in the Manor, and often traveled or slept in a hotel. Because he was something of a celebrity, the press would often ask him why he hardly ever stayed in his own home, and Askthepizzaguy III wouldn't respond, and seemed shaken. He mumbled something about the attic, and how he would never go up there again.
Good think you didn't lynch me yesterday.
Good luck guys :curtain:
Thanks CB for the info, and to YLC that would be nice to share with us, thanks.
We could always toss a bunch of stuff in the bath tub, light it on fire so that it burns all night long. Blowing out a candle is one thing, but blowing out a campfire isn't happening.
One thing that doesn't make sense is why Beefy was killed. Several of us voted for him, so why kill him? Makes me question whether the house targets who we suspect. That doesn't fit with the Renata kill though. So why Beefy?
Mafia is obviously trying to mess with our brains.
Okay, well, falling asleep at my desk wasn't my plan, but here I am now, so...
Chapter 3: Lamps
Certain kinds of demons are attracted to dark places, and are repelled by light.
There are several different kinds of lamps:
Master Bedroom-
Contains a large lamp which can be turned on for +2 Sunshine Units. (moveable)
Parlor-
Contains a pair of lamps which can be turned on for +2 Sunshine Units apiece. (moveable)
Computer Room-
There's also a small lamp (moveable) inside which gives +1 Sunshine Units.
Guest Room-
Contains a small lamp (moveable) which gives +1 Sunshine Units.
Lamps must be turned on in order to function. If their light bulbs break, they need to be replaced, or they will not function. Often times a demon will attempt to break the lights in order to create the darkness it seeks.
Chapter 6c: Mirrors
Certain kinds of demons like to play tricks with light, and cause hallucinations. These hallucinations often appear with the assistance of a Mirror. The larger the mirror, the more powerful the haunting.
There's only one large mirror in this house:
Master Bathroom-
Contains a very large mirror which can be used to boost demonic possession by 2 Strength. (not moveable)
Mirrors function regardless.... someone merely needs to be in a room with a mirror for it to function to summon demons. Breaking the mirror ends that particular curse, but there will still be shards of glass left over.
Chapter 12: Circuit Breaker
The Circuit Breaker in the house does what you might expect to do. It shuts off all electrically powered items that require power from the wall outlets or wiring inside the walls. No plug-in items or light fixtures will function until it is turned back the other way.
Sometimes a power surge or supernatural event can trigger the circuit breaker, in which case it must be reset manually.
There's only one circuit breaker, and it is in the Garage.
Chapter 13c: Other Information
This chapter says that exorcisms will fail to work after the 6th night of the haunting.
There is also a room in the house which should do wonders to keep people alive.
Sorry, that's all I can find - either I forgot to read a couple days or my orders got screwed up, or I deleted them without thinking.
Okay,
So we should break that extra large mirror, and stay out of that room.
Perhaps the garage is the safe place? No one's died in here yet IIRC.
That mirror has already been broken.
I still can't help but wonder why Diana would point out a mirror as something that should be broken. She noted the fan, the lawnmower and a mirror, to my knowledge the only three items that have been destroyed to good effect - yet no one but me (and maybe Secura if she asked ATPG) knew I had destroyed that mirror. Perfect information syndrome, anyone?
Good you did destroy it, I didn't know. I had only said to destroy everything that could be harmful to us. I saw a pattern develop when people were saying that the breaking the fan, lawn mower... made things better. Then I tried to destroy something electronic and the dvd did nothing, but the TV made things worse. Then I thought of The Flax's death and all the others, all were done with something harmful, sharp, and the light helps. The TV could give off some light, so that's why it was worse when I smashed the TV. So I hope everyone did what I asked before and destroyed anything sharp or harmful. Also remembered that The Flax was looking into the mirror when he died and it changed him, his face.
And now that is why I'm saying that we all need to get to 2 of the largest rooms tonight (I'd say 1 but we have too many to fit in 1 room) with ALL our lights on, everything we can find that gives off some light. This might combat the "evil spirit" in this house and save one of us tonight. And yes, maybe start a fire, it couldn't hurt. Let's see what happens.
vote: move
I won't be around for the next 30-or-so hours because I'll be dancing the night away at a wedding.
Results from my computer research:
You researched folklore and demonology to find a match for the events that you and the others are experiencing. Your results seem to match a certain kind of demon. Some demons are attracted to houses or other buildings, and become attached to this location, and consider it their possession. They are often attracted to certain objects in the house, such as mirrors, sharp blades, dangerous equipment, or representations of human beings, like porcelain dolls. These objects will strengthen a demon.
This particular demon seems repelled by sources of light. That is not at all uncommon among demons. A photophobic demon will become weaker around light sources. However, over time, the demon will slowly begin to gain strength. If the strength of the demon overpowers the total strength of all the light in the room, the demon's power will overwhelm first the sources of light, then the victims inside the room.
The demon will often possess and inhabit the body of one, or even pose as a human and walk freely among them. It is possible to cast this demon out with an exorcism, but unless it is performed by a church official, this procedure becomes less effective as the demon gains in strength. Eventually not even an exorcism can drive the demon out, and it must be slain directly. In human form, the demon becomes vulnerable to this kind of attack.
However, when the demon is not confined to its body of flesh and blood, it is only vulnerable to light. It is strongest during the night, and can leave its body and inhabit others, controlling them and even forcing them to murder. Historically, this has been the explanation of thousands of people who have been accused of murder.... "the devil made me do it".
The name of the demon which most closely resembles this one, that you could find, is named Lucifuge.
Vote: Move
We need to move to the living room or the Master bedroom tonight, all of us, with all the light we can find. Also, before each of us leave the room we are in, turn on any lights now, and leave them on when we leave that room. I hope you all have gotten rid of anything sharp or dangerous, if not do it NOW. I will be in the living room tonight if any of you guys want to join me there. Best of luck to us all tonight.
Thanks for the info Diana - Lucifuge...Latin for "Flees from Light". Also the governor of Hell, apparently.
However, again, have we visited every room? Vote: Move to enact the plan, but we need to know where to move to. It'd be best if we could get an idea of what is in each room, and then choose the two that seem the least potentially malevolent.
The only 2 rooms that can hold all of us, are the living room and the Master bedroom (and I don't think any thing has happened in either BTW). need 5-6 in living room and 5-6 in bedroom. I'm going to the living room, would love it if you would join me there YLC, I have PM'd 3 others that are in the room I'm in now, to move with me. If all of you move with me than that would make 5 total, and the rest could go to the bedroom, 6 total. What do you guys think of this?
