Hi Maksimus, just wondering whether you could help me.
This is how I installed it:
RTW
RTW ALX
EB 1.1 then EB 1.2
EB Fixes (included in your thread)
Then,
ALX Engine files
EAEM.exe installed
Target line for EB SP changed.
For some reason when I start it, I get an error saying:
Script Error in eb/data/export_descr_unit.txt, at line 140, column 33.
Could not find soldier battle model for unit type "generic ship baitaz"

EAEM.exe installed into \The Creative Assembly\Rome - Total War\ folder
EAEM fixes placed in EB/Data folder

I then loaded ALX EB, which worked fine. I started a campaign and all.
But then, I went to EB Configuration and EB Preferences and applied a few changes.
When I started EB Single Player after I did that, it wouldn't start, and the problem again...

Is changing Configuration and Preferences the cause of this?
P.S I don't think this is at all related, but I am running EBALX.exe off a crack due to a misplacement of my CD :dizzy2:

this is generic error you get sometime, its game not mod thing, pls reinstal the game :D
Hi again. Only a simple question: How can i quit the population growing limit in the cities? Are you using "City Mod"?. I would prefer playing without that limitation.

mod doesnt use City mod, but has various limits to different regions, much more complex. You can change that if you know how the resources work, then you edit them or remove from map and edb.
What EB fixes are you talking about? EAEM fixes?
I hav the Rome TW, 1.1 > 1.5 patchs, Alex Expansion, EB, EB 1.2, EAEM and EAEM fixes. Do I need another file? Where are this EB fixes file? Where I can download it?
Ah, forget. I found it.
Well, I reinstalled everything but the game still freezes before a load. This happens only sometimes but is very common here. Freezes befora a campaign start, before a game load, before or after a battle... This didnt happen in vanilla TW and common EB.
EB Alex have a specific forum for support?

I would play EAEM but it is just too lengthy. The buildings take ages to construct, and enemy always has full stack!
Weird. I did nothing and the game runs perfectly fine now... well, good to me!
I think that editing the files with Notepad++ solve the problem even if some of the texts written in step-by-step were already there and I just wrote them a second time.
What difficulty do you recommend? I mean Medium/Medium, Hard/Medium, VH/Hard?

I would personally like to play EAEM just to try something new and for the challenge.
However, I seem to get WAY more lag on EAEM than normal EB or even EB with ALX.engine... Can someone please explain to me why this is and if there is anything I can do to reduce it??
Laging here too but only a little. I think it's because the graphics are much better in EAEM. Put only the units in the max and the vegetation in medium (no paperlike trees). Lag slightly here, but the visuals in this mod makes me smile. :)
Only the building time and the rebels full stacks make me sad... :(
My army was trapped in a forest and destroyed by elephants and soldiers, many soldiers...
it is a bit more heavy because EAEM has some advanced campaign and battle features, night battles also. I used RS campaign map textures and mini mob for campaign map detailed ships and vagons on roads, also, campaing map armies are much more detailed, solo armies and generals have more detail model and spear, shield and sword in hand etc.
as for the changing of region city caps, i suggest you go to TW center or here if possible to modding guide's.
Why the walls of Vindelicoppidos are "Western Greek" class and not barbarian? I've seen more cities with this "problem" like Ak-Ink,Burdigala,etc.

its intentional, many cities had strong stone walls and were under Greek-Dacian-Far East or Chinese influence, not as near as barbaric as German and Gaul faction's at that time, but even they had stone walls in certain cities.

It works just fine for me.
The problem was that i download with download manager. But when i download with firefox, it was ok then. But thanks anyway.
When I play with alex.exe and if I play with lower resolution, the game was windowed. Why? Only when i set max resolution, the game was maximise. I am confuse.
Make sure your shortcut reads "...\rometw-alx.exe -mod:eb -show_err -nm -noalexander" (without quotes). Also make sure trivial script is turned to Single Player when playing campaign (Start > Programs > EB > Configuration > choose Single Player in the drop-down menu and click Save & Exit).
It seems I can't "open" the spoiler buttons :(
