I was going to try and destroy the rebels outside Hierosolyma , but even with the garrisons of both Sidon and Hierosolyma I doubt I could take it (5 Jewish spear men, really?)
Actually I had an event idea during battle between Patrokles and Sarpedon. Those rebels around the empire would've made a big part in it but now I don't think I can use the same excuse for this event as I would've used if Sarpedon would've died.
There is a discussion in BtSH forum on creating a new EB RP-game as Sweboz and soon KotF will start.
So, I was thinking, perhaps we should try to find a way to end WotB?

Good, I don't see why you would want to end a well established game in favour of a new one, which may well go the way of the other two EB PBMs.
edit: I had planned to take the fight to the Makedon invaders over the next few turns, I am going to be away from my PC until Wednesday at the earliest now, so I won't be able to so anything for the next few days.

I am going to kind of edge off of the game and not be too important for a little while (at least until after I go camping for a week) and I kind of am just waiting till Patrokles son comes of age. I kind of want to continue their dynasty as it were. (A tortured family line wracked by guilt? awesome!)
and a resentment for the family that disowned his. :idea2:

Are you sure about that? If they sally and you're not there, no one else can fight the battle (I'm assuming no one else is in the army since you're asking 'somebody' to do it), and auto-calc would not be good.
Speaking of which, auto-calc Arrhenides' battle already!
Yeah I'm sure. I'd rather risk the autocalc than have to wait a week and a half to approach the town. Besides, I don't think there is much of a garrison.

Well I am leaving tomorrow morning, wish me luck in the great outdoors :tongue: ( I enjoy camping personally, but It can be a bit tiresome when you do it as often as I do... especially when you have to spend extended periods of time with the same people in a small tent..... things get..... Ugly to say the least)
when I get back I should will get around to updating the History thread and fixing some of the broken links I put in the current one. (I just saw I got bumped up to AM, may as well act like it and do something :laugh4:, not that we have to many problems here in our own little corner of the ORG.)
Thats why i bought myself a 2 man tent.
The sad part is that these people are my best friends....... And at the beginning we are all Gun ho about it like HELL YEAH! LETS HAVE SOME FUN!!!!! Then by the end we are silently plotting each others death.....

you erally think less than a week is that bad? I go camping for weeks Out on manoeuvres we have to sleep in a tent if we're LUCKY
just get a 2 man tent and then you dont have to worry about people sleeping in your tent
Things like that are the reason I am not cut out for the Military really..... I just am not a big fan of Social contact..... somewhat of a Recluse in all honesty......
I have always wanted to go Army or navy and such, but I just don't have the determination and commitment you must have CP. :bow:

Hell I like gettin out there, i go camping every year. going this august for 2 weeks. I go portaging out north in algonquin park mostly, but if i have cash I go up to the North West Territories. Best. Place. Ever.
