pever is a townie - he has shown me his role PM which has a Pirate quote that is identical to that of another townie (Atpg). He can pretend to be a Maven all he wants, but unless he was converted, he was nothing more than able seamen messing around.

Someone has to keep the ship going while the Captain and his crew get some sleep (or at least pretend to). That someone would be you. - You are not the only Watchstander on board. Should you find others, you may work together to investigate targets, which will bring about more thorough results in a faster period of time.
- You may not Abandon Ship at any time. Doing so would be a dereliction of duty. Even pirates have that much honor, mate.

Finally, if you are appointed First Mate or Quartermaster, those powers replace your current powers. You will gain your original powers back upon being sacked. Good luck!

That's similar to the watchstander PMs I've seen. But it was those same watchstanders who said a maven might have a watchstander cover role.

And so you say three investigations instead of two. Fine, that is still low. And you still refuse to give out any more investigation results. What am I supposed to think, hmm?

No you don't I must admit I did fall for the gold. Hey I'm a pirate what do you expect Besker died but I didn't. I just assumed it was random chance as GH said and since besker hadn't being attacked yet I assumed he would be fine for one more night.
