Day Three
Malfunctioning Eddy, the hovercar sales-robot, was working feverishly to deduce who had the most to gain from an Omicron invasion, computing the likely suspects and reducing the list to just a few likely candidates.
Just then, Professor Farnsworth, Amy Wong, Turanga Leela, and Flexo the Bending Robot entered the small office. Leela spoke first this time.
"The vote was held today. Unfortunately, you seemed to be the most likely suspect. We must deactivate you."
Malfuctioning Eddy: "Wait friends! Surely you wouldn't want to miss out on this rare oppurtunity to take a sneak peek at all the work I've done computing the list of the most likely suspects! As you can see, I've been active at this desk for the past 24 straight hours and I've done nothing but narrow the list. I'd like to offer you an alternative to your current option, if you allow me to continue computing, I guarantee that I will not leave this office. If you act now, you could keep another robot alive working on this deal, and I'll even throw in a new rust resistant chrome finish for Flexo over here!"
Farnsworth: "I'm afraid we can't take advantage of your offer. In order to ensure the safety of DOOP, we must be certain that you are deactivated and cannot continue killing, if you are indeed the Omicron agent."
Wong: "Yeah, and the procedure will totally not even hurt at all. When this is all over, we can re-activate you! It beats the heck out of being a victim of the murderer."
Leela: "Absolutely. You'll be just fine, and you won't feel a thing. Professor?"
Farnsworth: "If our metallic friend here is willing to cooperate with the DOOP council, then you two are excused. Flexo and I will tend to Eddy."
Flexo: Listen bro-bot, I understand how terrifying it is to be deactivated. But these are my friends, and I'm sure they will make the extraction of your central processing unit as painful as possible...." Flexo laughs, then continues. "I'm just messing with you. You'll be fine, I promise."
Eddy: "Well, let me de-activate my self-destruct. In case I were ever attacked by the Omicron agent, this device was supposed to destroy him."
Farnsworth: "It is most appreciated. I have my doubts that you're aligned with the Omicronians, especially since you're cooperating with our investigation. However, we must be absolutely sure."
Flexo: "Hopefully this will all be over soon, bro-bot."

Well, I know there's no proof or anything, and I could very well be wrong, but at this point I suspect El Diablo. In making that analysis of Beefy and causing us to bandwagon him, he could have been the mafia, and was just misleading us. I know that the argument was sound- and that's why it worked. If El Diablo is mafia, he's been doing a very good job by misleading us with very plausible arguments. Also, do we know El Diablo's identity? What's his role?
The only other person I could suspect would be shlin, because he's Flexo and a robot, although he's pretty much been confirmed as an innocent. I would suspect Morbo, but I don't know who he is. Reveal yourself if you're not too scared!
And finally, I'm going to reveal my role. Some of you might have forgotten by now as I stopped posting in the annoying rasta accent some time ago, but I am Hermes. My ability is that I do the post-mortem investigations of anyone who is killed. Because of this, I know that everyone who's been killed so far, whether lynched or murdered, was innocent. I'll also give the roles of those who have died, to narrow the remaining roles down.
Aries- Obviously Robot Santa. His only "ability" was more of a hindrance- he had to post in-character.
Makaikhaan- Bender. His ability was to survive one lynch.
Woad&Fangs- Scruffy. He also had to post in-character.
Pevergreen- Zoidberg. He was the true investigator, who could investigate the living people. Infinitely more useful than my role.
Beefy- Malfunctioning Eddy. He had a 50% chance to kill someone by self-destructing if they murdered him.
Now for the living people:

So, I know this is a lot to ask for, but I'd like everyone to reveal their roles. El Diablo and Morbo especially. If you're town, you've got nothing to fear, and if everybody does, there's a good chance we'll get the mafia next time. Thing is- wait until the mafia have struck before you reveal now- because the mafia might change his mind and kill you if he realizes you have a good role.
You can lynch me if you want, I don't care, but you'd just be wasting your time. Chances are the mafia is gonna kill me tonight anyway. And if he does, you'll know I was right. Thanks all.

The Neutral President- I'm baffled. Who the heck is this? I've never heard of him, and I KNOW I've seen every episode. So this must be a really obscure reference.

Acting too townie is (I would think) a very risky way to act.
I have no problems with a reveal other than I already knew you were Hermes.
Infact ther are only 3 or 4 people I have not determined who they are. I have kept this a secret as I am not sure who the Professor is. He needs to remain hidden if we are to find the mafia.
BTW, I have no investigation "powers" either. The only power I have is to block actions. This has not been done yet as I have had no idea who to block... (I may have blocked the investigator??).
The only issue I have with a reveal is, are you SURE you know what charater is guilty? It could be Fry, it could be Morbo it could even be Hermes..?
If we are not sure what "character" is mafia then a reveal shows who ever it is who to take out next.
But lets see who makes it through the night...

uh... sitting alone in his room. Yeah, that's the ticket. (Sorry, I know it's less clever each time you hear it) The door of his suite opened, and a figure wearing a trenchcoat and a mask entered, with a long hose in hand.
Flexo spoke:
"So, if it isn't the Omicron Agent. Did you know that I was secretly trying to join your side? Hahahahaha! I am just pulling your leg. Actually, I would like to avenge the death of my brother, you twisted meatbag!"
The masked figure turned on the hose and began firing it directly at Flexo, covering him from head to toe, and filling up his suite.
"Bwahahaha!" laughed Flexo. "Didn't you know that Bending Robots are waterproof? I guess you're not so clever after all. No, seriously, I'm not joking. You're a complete moron!"
Just then the masked figure threw a lit match into the room, and closed the doors, locking them.
Flexo, and everything in that room, was incinerated. The hose was not firing water at Flexo, but rocket fuel. DOOP headquarters has many cargo bays, all of them full of large canisters of rocket fuel. Not only was the room incinerated, but it blew a hole in the side of the building, and the blast woke everyone up. When they saw the grim spectacle that was once Flexo's room... no one got any sleep again that night.

I have narrowed the professor down to two (who I will obviously not be saying)
But to be able to effortlessly snap the neck of Hermes... it would surely only be Morbo?

Heh. Figures, way to be predictable there, mafia. But there must be an SK or vigilante as well, because obviously two people died. I'd say El Diablo is probably innocent, now, unless he just made up the fact that he was a roleblocker and someone else just decided to use that ability that turn. Seems unlikely in my book, though.
From SwedishFish's reaction, he's probably Kif Kroker. The cold-blooded argument can still apply there.
Otherwise, it looks like town is screwed unless they get lucky.
Well as far as I see it I know of 5 innocents (but that is only because I know I am innocent so take that as you will).
That leaves:
Lord Winter - who is warm blooded.
SwedishFish - who is an alien and perhaps coldblooded.
QJC - who is also an alien - coldblooded?
Fenring - who is warm blooded.
Of those only QJC character is capable of "easily" breaking Hermes neck and for that matter Zoidbergs.
But I am wondering are we putting too much emphasis on the characters? I can hand on my heart state that the mafia and serial killer are in the four above. My hunch is QJC and Swedishfish.
But then again I was 90% certain that Beefy was scum...:wall:
I think it's safe to put emphasis on character, as that's what happened in ATPG's last mafia game, right? We also know that ATPG puts clues relating to the characters in his write-ups. I think that the fact that Bender did not see the murderer through his thermal vision is most definitely a clue. I interpreted it as the mafia must be either a robot or cold-blooded- but, if you think about it, even robots would show signs of heat. If anyone else has a different interpretation of the clue, they should state that, too. Anything we find in the write-ups will help us.
I think you guys are right to hunker down and think this one out.
More discussion, more analysis, more thinking. Don't discount any possibility or overlook any clue. And remember, I told you that 010101 was the biggest clue of all. Try to solve it.
