Re: The Golden Rule (IN PLAY)
To GH's defense, often points that have already been made need to be repeated in order to remind those not paying as much attention... but of course we are all very active and paying much attention to the game anyway! :clown:
Vote: shlin
For looking for a reason to lynch someone.

Wrong twice over, my friend. Firstly, I did vote last round, for Ares. Secondly, there is good discussion and bad discussion. Bad discussion, such as when we're trying to determine the mafia based on role names alone, not only distracts the town but is also good foil for a mafioso trying to blend in. Again, we could talk about this forever and still not get anywhere, but you would still look good because, hey, you're helping discussion while in reality just leading the town in circles.
I'd prefer it if we focused on thread behavior, such as the current trend towards figuring out what shlin is playing at. But I don't think we'll have to worry about that if you get lynched.

Wouldnt that be a contradiction? If traitor wants all the gold for them selves? Why would they recruit?
Unless I got the concept of this completely wrong and FBI agent and the traitor are two separate thing.

That's it so far. I highly encourage everyone on the sidelines to vote, abstain, or otherwise participate. You do not want to be WOG'ed in this game.

I think they actually are 2 separate people. Or at least, that was the impression I got from what ATPG posted so far

Re: The Golden Rule (IN PLAY)
Perhaps you should try the Freem Cannon instead.

Re: The Golden Rule (IN PLAY)
It was delightful using the Freem Cannon at the end to annihilate the survivors. There are some wonderful things about being the host.

No hard feelings White_eyes. You just seemed lonely without any votes on you. :clown:
On serious note, I don't see anyone standing out just yet. I say we should wait for the kill to take place before we go around lynching peoples.

ATPG, I'm pretty sure that khaan had a vote in there too. You might want to double-check.

I see you all eying the gold, pretending to be innocent and the voting off your cohorts for bad reasons so you can have all the treasures to yourselves... :inquisitive:

I think he used to be Destroyer of Hope (?) who used to big time lurk unless he got a role...

I have no strong leads, but I currently find Aries style of play the most suspicious.

Re: The Golden Rule (IN PLAY)
I have nothing strong.
But advocating that we look at roles to determine possible suspects, then stating that your role is the least suspicious, seems a bit scummy to me.
Especially claiming that a forgery expert would not be FBI material.

explosives expert - agent material? i doubt it FBI and spies would be more tactful IMO
ex SWAT - special weapons and tactics, hmmmm, that sounds like a spy to me (though i'm not accusing yet, just trying to piece it together)
false diplomat - so-so, doubt it but still a tad suspicious
forgery expert - in my eyes a forgery expert doesn't make FBI material
Armoured truck driver - i imagine if any an accomplish to the head guy, though i think it's probably an innocent role
Tanker Hi-Jacker - The most suspicion IMHO, He would work in the same way as a gold hi jacker, there was ment to be a greedy guy on board, thats putting FBI out of the equation
communications expert - again quite suspicious, a spy could communicate with the FBI in various ways
computer engineer - have his uses, though i doubt he's agent material
security guard - security for the gang or for the bank? if for the gang then he's probably innocent
Plastic surgeon - again, can't see mafia here, just a feeling, cosmetics hardly makes for a traitorous killer
accountant - this guy could easily get his hands on the money, maybe not the main culprit but still along the lines of a traitor
foreign liason - could be crafty, but probably good
mastermind - i would say a mastermind is the gang leader, kind of, in such a way i would think there innocent
ex-marine - sounds to insignificant to be dangerous, not suspicious yet....
Please bare in mind i only considered the roles, not the players, i don't want to accuse anyone
out of them the most guilty i think are:
Ex SWAT
Tanker Hi-Jacker
Communications expert
Accountant
would anyone agree that these four sound more shifty?
Seeing as the accountant and communications expert haven't come forward, from the players who haven't claimed a role, we can piece together who they are, and if they don't reveal who they are, then we should lynch them i think, though you all have your say if you disagree

Re: The Golden Rule (IN PLAY)
Eh? He said that he was a forgery expert but considers himself not FBI material? That would be very suspicious.
IF the statement was not written by Ares, I would totally go behind you. However, because of this, I don;t think you should vote him on that sole basis. (If it was by anyone else who claimed that I would totally sneak upon them in the night like a silent vigilante and gut them in their sleep :clown:)

:book:
How does that make sense at all? Think with your brain, not your bullets, moron! Ares looks likes he trying to throw suspicion of himself without directly stating "I'm innocent". I'll say it before, I'll say it again, roles don't mean squat in this unless something new comes up. Right now, we should go with posting behavior, nothing more, until more information crops up.
So am going to agree with Yoyoma on this one, Ares is standing out a bit more then everyone else.
Unvote: Beefy
Vote: Ares

Re: The Golden Rule (IN PLAY)
Isn't this his usual style though?
-
Re: The Golden Rule (IN PLAY)
I'm just saying Ares' playstyle is more along the line of er... simpleness... and I think it is VERY likely that he know in fact probably nothing about the FBI, so his behaviour IMO is justifiable.
(Sorry if my previous post was unclear, I was in a rush)

I'm sorry, but what is that again? I don't think Ares is that simple at all, least not that simple. Why so willing to cover for the man using such "simple" logic? I find it hard to "justify" his behavior, especially since knowing him from the past. My vote stays until someone else incriminates themselves more deeply.

Hate to say it...(I am in the lead and will likely die......:sweatdrop:) but Vote:abstain since I know that my online time is cut in half till Tuesday, at family's home for Christmas (with wireless.....) BTW, IDK about Ares.....he always plays like a simple person and always gets killed right away.....:juggle2:
