Amused interjection: Master Andres, it is most unreasonable for you to expect sense from Master Beskar. Now do yourself a favor and reconsider, before I tear the vocal processor from your cranial motivator.

You're just being frustrated because your cold metallic and, might I add, boring, personality makes you immune for the better things in live. You have no clue about how to treat a lady, you barbaric device.
Pfuh.

Overly informative statement: I am fully functional, and programmed in multiple techniques. A wide variety of pleasuring.
Clarification: That is, if you take pleasure to mean the emotion I am programmed to experience when removing ugly flesh carcasses from my sight.

They don't have to be anyone. But I see Beskar's post about Husar, I see a great big flashing sign that says to the mafia: I am innocent and I just all but proved it to any townie whose paranoia does not exceed their good sense. Please kill me.
So I wanted to see who would oblige. So far TinCow's snap vote on the basis of Beskar's Niklas vote seems to fit the bill better than the other options.

That is correct, the information I'm privy to is straight from the horse's mouth, so to speak. While it is plausible that he might be lying, I doubt it on this occasion; Beskar made these claims to me because he was literally elated by his Role PM. He didn't quote it, as per the rules, but he was very excited about it. I suppose following through with the lynch might be the only way for everyone to see why he's so chuffed, though.

This is true, it would be foolish under normal circumstances... but Beskar's character isn't normal circumstances.

That's reasonable

Well, the way it looks, Beskar is dead anyway now.
You women need to learn not to talk about secrets in public. ~;)

Condescending statement: Don't worry, Masters. Everyone makes mistakes. When you realize your error you can always reassemble him.

I haven't really told you anything constructive, though, so it's hardly like I revealed anything beyond saying his lynch is a bad idea.
I personally believe that Beskar is the Jedi Council's envoy, but to each their own.

That doesn't mean he can't be a Sith Lord
Knowing Sigurd, I wouldn't be too surprised if the leader of our expedition actually is the Sith Lord we are looking for.
Now, wouldn't thát be a role to be excited about?

You do realize that by saying all this you're essentially forcing a role reveal by Beskar. It would have been more effective if you had just defended him normally without resorting to a power-role claim. By doing this you've painted a target on his head for the town if he doesn't reveal and a target on his head for the mafia if he does. Did you not think this through, or are you intentionally trying to get him killed?

Interesting point.
Why so careless with valuable information, Secura?

Actually, I have thought it through considerably, mulling over everything he told me in considerable detail.
Consider what you said in regards to the town and the mafia for lynches/kills respectively, then consider what I have said myself, and then you might understand.

Re: StarWars: Return of the Sith [Sign-up]
unvote, vote: Beskar
Statement: I have done a recalculation, and it seems this is the only way to teach the meatbags a lesson.

If you want Beskar to be forced to reveal and/or be lynched/killed, why were you criticizing the people who voted for him? You're not making any sense.
[edit] Er, sorry... got Renata and Secura mixed up. Apologies. Noting to see here... :creep:

Don't jump the gun, TinCow; I didn't criticise anyone who voted for him, it was a different person that did that.
I mentioned his "I love Sigurd" post a few pages back and asked you all why he might have said that, that was all.
-
Re: StarWars: Return of the Sith [Sign-up]
I get it too. unvote: Sasaki, vote: Beskar

Yeah, sorry, just noticed that a moment ago. I got you mixed up with Renata.

Re: StarWars: Return of the Sith [Sign-up]
Ok, due to my mix-up of posters, I had to do a re-read, and that leaves me still with problems with Secura's posts.

Self-explanatory, you say you don't want Beskar lynched.

You say you haven't told us anything constructive, then you specifically peg Beskar as what is likely the most powerful pro-town role in the game? Are you insane? When I then ask why you would do such a thing as a 'defense' of Beskar, you say you thought about the situation very carefully:

I honestly couldn't tell what you meant by that, but then ATPG votes for Beskar and you seem to approve:

Renata was already doing an acceptable job of refuting it and with a bit more support it wouldn't have been too hard to reverse it and save Beskar. But, instead of doing that, you straight up call him the top pro-town role without any prompting whatsoever. Your claims that you carefully thought through revealing this information AND that you want to save him are contradictory. You've doomed him for no reason.
-
Re: StarWars: Return of the Sith [Sign-up]
She's implying he claims he can't be lynched, either, and she wants to test him on that claim.
I'm not sure I see any reason to oppose it, whatever I may think of what's going on in general.
Unless Beskar turns up and says she's lying through her teeth. When's the deadline?

I said it was a bad idea, if what I've been told is true.

I believe it is called a Xanatos Gambit; I felt I had to chance it while there were still some votes on him.
Quote:

Flimsy is a bit of an understatement, yes, I can totally agree there; the one currently on Andres is just as poor. But what can one expect from the first round, huh?
Beskar made some claims to me which I wanted to test, but simply hopping on a bandwagon and voting for him wouldn't suffice; I would have to cast doubts in the town's mind to perhaps encourage more votes on him to see whether he was telling the truth or not.

Mmmmhmmm.
You need to think a little more about my motives, I feel.

Re: StarWars: Return of the Sith [Sign-up]
Anyone else care to vouch that they know whatever Secura claims to know about Beskar? Right now we're lynching someone she herself says she believes is the most powerful pro-town role in the game, based solely on her own word regarding Beskar's implications of his abilities. This would not necessarily be a bad trade for mafia.
-
Re: StarWars: Return of the Sith [Sign-up]
Well, at least the first day won't be wasted on random silliness. I must say, that seems to be a trend over the last several months. I almost miss our pointless round 1 lynches.
-
Re: StarWars: Return of the Sith [Sign-up]
Man this feels just like pever's riftwar where we straight up lynched the pro-town king on the first day.
So I'm reluctant to vote Beskar, as I have a hard time understand what Sec is doing here. Why would Beskar write something like that into the thread, even I thought he was alluding to a special role he got. That's just weird.

As far as I know, he claimed solely to me. It wasn't really claiming so much as boasting.

I hazarded a guess at who he might be based upon those claims, because they seem too powerful and unbecoming of an peon like me.
I can unvote, vote: Beskar now I've laid out my case anyway.

That game we had 2 towns vying for majority, so there were townies who wanted him out.
