How do you post from your phone? I tried it awhile back to see if it were possible, but i just could not log in to this site from mobile, but it might not work from outside the US? I just wanted to see if I could do that, but I couldn't. Anyway it would have been cumbersome to do so with te phone I use.
Snarf: OH NO!!! OH MY SNARF, NO!!!! NO!!!! NOOO NOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!
The satanic woodland creatures swarmed all around Snarf, and began using his eyesockets for a diabolical purpose which I cannot repeat here.
There was blood and intestines everywhere when it was all over.

The broken, bloodied body of Darth Vader was left hanging above the courtyard, swinging from a noose made out of his freshly peeled skin.
Butters: Oh my gosh! Mister Vader! Mister Vader, are you okay??? I don't think he's okay. Is-is there anyone out there? Hello???
Anyone???

Beary the Bear: Gosh, mister, you what's eating you?
Squirrely the Squirrel: Yeah, you seem kind of lonely!
Porcupiney the Porcupine: Why don't you join us! We were just about to complete the holy ritual
Butters: Holy ritual? Sounds like fun! What do I get to do?
Beary the Bear: Why, you can be the pure, virgin vessel that holds the soul of our lord and savior!
Squirrely the Squirrel: A pure virgin! A pure virgin!
Porcupiney the Porcupine: To bring to life our lord and savior!
Butters: Woah! Now, hold on just a second. I'm not a virgin.
Beary the Bear: You're not? Well we gots to have a virgin to bring the Dark Lord into this world!
Butters: Yes, you see, a while back, there was this Paris Hilton lady, and she adopted me and dressed me up in a bear costume, and then she passed out, and I saw her whole.... well, you know.
Squirrely the Squirrel: AWWWWW!!!! What are we going to do without a virgin?
Porcupiney the Porcupine: Wait! Little boy, did you actually.... do anything with this Paris Hilton lady?
Butters: Yes, miss Porcupiney. I poked at her with my finger. She was really passed out. She wouldn't wake up at all.
Beary the Bear: That's all? Oh goody! The child is still pure! Let's kill the virgin child!!!
Squirrely the Squirrel: KILL THE VIRGIN CHILD!!!
Porcupiney the Porcupine: DRINK HIS BLOOD!!! BWAHAAHHAAAA!!!!
Butters: Oh hamburgers! Stan! Kyle..... could you get me out of here???

Good game, mafia! Sorry about the bad luck, townies...
Where the heck did you go, Joooray?
Even if I were lynched on the last day, we still would have won and we would have been able to kill the rest of you. So by that stage you had just run out of good options to kill. I also love the ending.
Even if YLC had remembered to revive someone, it still would have been 3 versus 3, mafia victory. The game was over last round with the woad&fangs mislynch.

Mafia quicktopic.
Town was plagued by inactivity. YLC didn't send in revive orders the first couple nights, and Joooray never sent in any orders. Well, he wasn't town either, but some days very few townies voted. That always spells death.
South Park: Imaginationland
ROLE PMS
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
This was a vanilla set-up, with the exception of a town reviver, and a serial killer who "marks" instead of kills. If everyone alive besides himself is "marked", he goes on a killing spree and wins the game. There was also a detective who could identify "marks", which means he could tell who had not been visited by manbearpig yet. Anyone who had been marked would not be manbearpig, and that would help identify manbearpig.
However, lynching everyone who was not marked would also cause more harm than good, which is perfect for an Al Gore role. :laugh4: It was marginally useful, not worthless, but still not overpowered in the slightest, and difficult to use.
Also Glenn got banned just as I randomized him as mafia. I couldn't have that. Sorry Glenn, I had to replace ya.
Well I was right about Classical at least. That was the one I was most sure about. I had my doubts whether we had actually hit any scum so far.
Still, a good game ATPG . We kind of deserved that loss.
With the reviver canceling out one murder per night and therefore revealing that certain people were "most likely" innocent, the objective for the mafia was to destroy the reviver ASAP. They failed horribly in that task, which should have given town the advantage.
Town, on the other hand, continually guessed that their own people were mafia, and never once got a correct lynch. Even one correct lynch would have extended the game a bit, and given YLC another chance to revive, which leads to more "innocent" people and a better chance at victory.
Joooray doesn't even lose the game if he dies, as his ID as the serial killer wouldn't have been known; if he could get revived, survive a night attack, lynch someone at his request, and mark another person, he can win the game as manbearpig.
There was a lot going on in this game; or there could have been. Mostly it was the mafia picking off the town and then the town helping them. It happens.

Congrats mafia. I was starting to suspect classical when alive, and somewhat death is yonder, but khazaar slipped fully under the radar. Snarf.
The problem with a game where there are no alignment reveals upon death is that it requires far more attention and activity from the town in order for them to stand a remote chance of winning; without constant activity, there is very little for any player to analyse and the game degenerates into attempted whack-a-mole that isn't any fun whatsoever and plays solely into the mafia's hands.
It's a slight against the host that people would sign up and then not even appear to vote, particularly when people who do want to play are killed early on. It's also a slight against the mafia and a shame that their total victory, that they probably felt they worked hard for, had to be marred by heavy town inactivity; winning the game just isn't as praise-worthy when that's the case.
My congratulations still go out to the mafia... but it isn't as hard-fought a victory as it would have been had the game been played properly.
I like to run the gamut from hosting incredibly complicated games to games resembling the old vanilla mafia games of old.
With incredible reliance on reveals upon death and power roles, features which are a development that was not originally included, it's interesting to play a game once in a while without the safety nets those features provide, and give a challenging game to the town.
The only clues in this game really boil down to who the mafia murder, and who Butters revives. It's more information than you'd get from a basic GH-style game, but still very little. It improves town odds over standard, but with 2 murders a night and 3 mafiosi and a "SK" role, town still must lynch mafia before the numbers drop to 7 players remaining or so, which translates to the middle game. An early stroke of good luck is needed.
But yes, when townies don't show up to vote, you can almost guarantee at least one or two mafiosi will show up and make sure they all survive every round. If left to their own devices, mafia will likely vote whichever way keeps them alive, and if town doesn't make a good showing of picking their own lynch, mafia will control the game.
Fortunately for the mafia, less so for the town, the mafiosi were seemingly not suspected until it was too late. If I remember correctly.
Both classical and Death is Yonder exposed themselves in the voting (heh), though I'm sure it helped see it, to know they were mafia. Khazaar was all but a no-show, hard to defend against that in a small game, there's just no time to deliberately lynch inactives.
Well, just got back.
I must say though, that the combination of general town inactivity and RL circumstances led me to put less effort into blending in, I was kinda surprised I didn't get nabbed earlier.
I felt that if YLC was actively resurrecting, the town probably could have pulled off a victory, especially since after past the mid-late game I was posting rather scum-like and classical was under heat too.
Overall the game was still enjoyable though, and the write ups were interesting to read. I think that were the game played to its fullest, the mechanics would have led to a very exciting and tense game, kudos to you for that ATPG
Thanks for the game, and congrats to my fellow partners
I signed up for this a a sub and I was a bit frustrated to be mafia, to tell the truth, since that is three straight games in a row that I was mafia and in two of them I achieved a flawless victory. :D The other one I got killed, so I can't complain being mafia and not surviving to the end of one.
