Where do you get it? It sounds like a very useful helm.
Here is a hint:
Spoiler Alert! Highlight to read.
Investigate a daedric shrine in Sheogorad. [/QUOTE]
Actually - it's probably better to wear no armour, but have some kit with lots of sanctuary enchantments - better not to be hit than to be able to take a lot of punishment.
I also use a spell that calms my target - preventing it attacking me, then doing something vicious, before calming it back down again.
Then again - I am a sly so and so.
I do know of people that have had lots of sanctuary enchancments, but i'd prefer not to as then you can beat anything as nothing can hit you (it takes out all the fun out of the game for me)Quote:

That is a good point. I do like the Berserker mentality though - if you see a mad naked dark elf running around wielding a claymore, be very afraid.Quote:

I went back and edited the stats into a spoiler after I posted. It occurred to me that some people prefer discovering these sort of things themselves so I didn't want to cramp their style. Purists don't want to know ANYTHING about the game.Quote:

OK fair enough... If it was a quest item I would agree but it its just a random thing that you find lieing around....
How well could I play Morrowind with:
1Ghz Pentium 3
GeForce MX420
60 Gb hard drive
256 Mb RAM
Windows ME
I might be picking it up in the next couple of days, 30 bucks for the whole shebang is a nice price.
You should be alrite,
The min specs r
500 mhz PIII
32mb graphics card
direct x 8.1
and 256 RAM
YAY Purchased Morrowind Game of the Year Edition with Morrowind, Tribunal, and Bloodmoon all for 30 bucks. Just started playing as a Khajiit and it is quite a lot of fun Most freedom I have ever seen in a game.
Told you.
Main quest blows by the way, imperial legoin is the one I most enjoy.
I run it on a
1.05 Gig Athlon
512 MB RAM
3D Prophet 4500 Kyro II, 64MB
Win 98
and it runs like a dog, even on 800x600 with draw distance set @ half. Although I think its my gfx card thats the problem - its not very well supported by a lot of games (inc Morrowing & MTW) When it is though it works great
My thief Khajiit is progressing well and I am having reasonable success with acquiring items. However, I utterly suck at combat. Bandits run up to me and I run screaming in fear. Rats take at least three hits to kill. How can I boost my light armor and short blade skills other than fighting? Training is an option, but it seems quite expensive.
FInd the weakest creature. THen let them hit you. make sure they ain't deseased. OF course rats normally do 1 damage to me and I have over 300 health and I block most hits so I can leave it on all day.
I got in a big fight with some Cammonna Tong and it jacked up my skills. I also got some sweet (for me) dark brotherhood armor as I killed their assassin. Now my thief is a bit more combat oriented.
Lehesu, I dunno if it is the avatar or your own characterstics but I am not suprised to hear you picked Khajiit http://www.totalwar.org/forum/non-cg...icons/wave.gif
Lehesu, If i remember correctly Dark Brotherhood armour isn't that bad especially if you have just started.
If you really need your stats upgrading go to some of the trainers (if you have the money to).
Try looking for glass armour if you are using light armour as it has quite a high armour rating. If you don't use light armour it also sells for quite a bit.
Morrowind has officially entered Lehesu's OMFG Game Club.
Been playing my Khajiit for a while, in the Thieve's and Assassin's guilds. Still have not found any glass armor. Is this stuff ever sold or are they only found in dungeons (don't tell me exactly where)? Also started an Imperial game for a bit more swordplay.
OMFG in a good way?
In a good way obviously, this is morrowind we are talking aboutQuote:

IF you get raw glass and A F*CKLOAD of money you can have a suit made for you in tribunal, but your looking at maybe 50-70k for a full suit and A LOT OF GLASS. There is a glass mine in the ghostgate.... But I don't recommend going into ghost gate until you are VERY VERY GOOD.
There is a person in soltshiem who wears a full suit of glass armour... but.... he is hard to kill. I won't tell you where he is unless you ask.
I found some glass greaves in the Urshilaku place. Pretty sweet. Since I am a Khajiit, no helm or boots so that just leaves cuirass and gloves/pauldrons.
Question on guard uniforms.
Indoril is medium.
Hlallu/Redoran is Bonemold, which is medium.
What armor is Telvanni?
What armor is used by the guards in Mournhold?
hmm...
Good quistion
I'll go kill one for you
You should get snow wolfs armour, it can only be gotten by having it made from a reasonable amount of money and a lot of skins of snow wolfs (very hard to kill). So keep that in mind.
Just reviving this thread to ask all Morrowind players:
What plug-ins do you use/can't play without?
For me, some great mods would include:
Durzog Armor
Jeremy's Knights of Tamriel Series
Assassin's Armoury
Some of the Bethesda plug-ins are good/helpful as well.
LInks please?
i have the Abandoned flat mod, the adamantium armour mod. I havn't played morrowind for a while but would recommend the abandoned flat mod to any morrowind player.
Durzog Armor
Assassin's Armory
Knights of Tamriel
These mods add, in order:
1. This adds one extremely tight looking medium-class armor set.
2. This mod adds hundreds of weapons and introduces duel-wield combos, with one weapon acting as a shield that averages your appropriate blade and block skills.
3. This series adds several extremely cool-looking and well-textured set of heavy armor, based on the 9 Divines.
I never been to Puzle canal before, what's in it and what the point of even going there?
IIRC it is for a temple quest. I'm not too sure though, i remember going there for some reason. I know that there is a trick to it in the last chamber.
