You can upload an avatar on the official beta forums and it will be shown on your units in-game, which I find quite nice. You can also see avatars of other players on their units if you zoom in close enough.
World in Conflict looks good. I had no idea it was released though.
I got an illegal version from the internet...no wait, I just signed up for the public beta. :beam:
Oh...the public beta...I'm surprised it was released seeing as the game isn't until September, and also the fact that they let you do multiplayer on it. I would be concerned that it would affect their sales.Quote:

Bought the game yesterday and I´m loving it so fare. Some bugs are a bit annoying but one thing I really like about Bf that they take care of these quickly.
P.S. All ss were taken with AA off and medium quality textures (1024*768)
World in Conflict: an atom bomb was detonated and here you see the vanishing residue.

While I rejoice in tasting a good Bavaria beer, I take the time to display a few screenshots for your viewing pleasure.
I presume this is the weather effect. And regard the weakening nuke effect in the left distance and the pretty church in front.
A freshly delivered nuclear arm. I have not registered the large flash that foregoes it.
A resident crater after a tactical nuke has been delivered while an explosion occurred nearby.
Carpet-bombing.
Near the area where a nuclear device has detonated. A sort of radiation effect.
My character charging in Mount & Blade.
Thick (light) leather as protective clothing (torso and legs/feet), a war horse, a strong bow on the left, some 60 arrows, and an iron staff (which is bent, since it's almost impossible to find a normal iron staff).
Sorry to go off-topic but those words can't go together. Bavaria and good beer are two complete opposites ~DQuote:
good Bavaria beer
Nice screens btw, World in Conflict looks like a great game ... which I will never be able to play on that piece of "poo" that I call computer.

You and your horror pictures, Fragony. That monster creature looks like one tough son of a *****.

From Mount & Blade (again, because I like this damn game):
Who is this mysterious warrior with the black hood?
Look at the fallen enemies. They have been struck by deadly arrows.
My character watches the morning sun.... while he holds a morning star.
Love being spooked, and this stuff looks very scary. All from Jericho, it looks amazing :skull:
