Sorry. That's the logo and that was the whole point of having it designed like that - so it's not just a cool unit, but represents the mod. "nerdish" is what EB is about man! :laugh4:

Keravnos, no one was bashing CA. I understand your points but it is their game at heart so like TA said no Merchandising.:juggle2:Quote:

Celt, I wasn't referring on you. It was a general remark. "Soon" is the answer to the ONtopic...Quote:

We have decided to remove the image of the Gaesatae that Caratacos drew from the public fora. We've had some criticism of it being on the public threads, and although there was a little debate about it, we do agree that it's best to keep it off the public boards and probably shouldn't have made it up here in the first place. It was actually just designed for the signature banners at first, without the direct intent of putting it on the public boards, but we all still love Caratacos' work so much that it was too tempting to share all of it. And in this case "all of it" was a little too much . The team has made its final decision on the matter, so there is no need to further discuss it here.
So that you're not too disappointed though, here is another piece that Caratacos has done for one of our Sweboz units. Enjoy!

Here is the fan sig banner image:

And finally, I thought I'd release a simple wallpaper design. I was working on this and just thought 'the simpler the better', so here is my first real go at it:

One of the best yet! Very nice!
His sword seems bent though...:curtain:
Personally, I'd be more concerned about that scabbard which appears to be made for a smallsword...
:duel:
nontheless a great picture.
Thanks. And that's what swords do.Quote:

Initially this piece was done as a sig banner so the details are a bit "relaxed"-- I was only talked into making it a full picture after I had started it. Nonetheless I was somewhat lazy with it.Quote:

It's really a nice picture. Could you perhaps post or PM [links to] some of your pencil sketches? I was impressed by the one you made from the legionnaire a few pages ago and it got me curious... (I'm an amateur myself)

Come on, the Sahsnotoz has clearly just girded up his loins enough to enter the backroom here, and is now reconsidering.
I love that pic, it reminds me when two my elite italics launched a volly at the Spatan hoplites flank. The hoplite just rqaised there sheild turned to face them and charged, they took about 2 casulties and the elite italics were not happy. But they charged them aswell, Italies best against the best greeks, awesome...
(Slightly off topic but the pict made me think about it)
I am struck speechless. What faction does the unit belong to?
Very nice, Caturiges were a gallic tribe I think.

Bumping the new image from today to the next page so it's not missed.Quote:

Gaedann sounds celtic. Theres already one warpainted gallic unit recruitable, the pictones. Caturiges were an alpine gallic tribe though, based in modern day Chorges.Quote:
