Okay, I looked back at the thread and found this again;

It looks like Sigurd is withholding information that YLAC gave him before he was killed. Why is this? YLAC asked all of us four to post the information we received - so why are you holding back, Sigurd? It sounds like you've got info that Omanes, glyphz and I did not get.

Re: Spirit Mafia (In Play)
After re-reading YLC's PM again, I don't really think it would be too worthwhile looking too deeply into LittleGrizzly. He did seem a little defensive, but he is right in that nobody accused him of being guilty at any point. If he is the role blocker who YLC thinks he is, then it would be a bad idea to try and force it out of him.
Right now I'm not too sure that I see much to go on really. Yes, there's a lot of inactive people, but I'm sure the mafia will be more talkative, probably only coming out with a load of distractions or jumping on a few bandwaggons here and there, out of fear of the WoG.
I henceforth am going to:
Vote: Chaotix27
After having a look his posts do seem to fit my above description of how I expect the mafia to be behaving. I know this isn't particularly reliable "evidence" so to say, particularly due to his inexperience, but I'd like to see his defence all the same.

El Diablo should already have been WoGed. He has not voted yet and since this is round 4, he qualified the 3 votes in a row WoG last round.
Could it be makaikhaan has followed my lead in not WoGing mafia?
Same with Ignoramus, they have 3 no votes each and should have been WoGed last round or found dead on the morning of round 4.
As to the information I am witholding. Yes I actively engaged YLAC in PM discussion as soon as he wrote me. He did give us little info and what he asked to be publicly revealed has already been revealed. He only mentioned FactionHeir, but I wanted to know which night he did this investigation and what the PM actually said. I also asked who he investigated the other night(s).
While investigating FactionHeir, the return message can be interpreted in a few ways. Either FactionHeir had some powers, or YLAC was blocked. I had hopes that the same blocker blocked the third killer on night two, but unfortunately it was the same night FactionHeir was investigated.
I also know that the night YLAC died was the night he intended to investigate CountArach.
-
Re: Spirit Mafia (In Play)
Most of that information is correct Sigurd, minus the fact you forgot to mention I investigated EF on the first night when he died. Also, the way the investigation was described, as I told you Sigurd, was very mafia like in how I was blocked. Everything else is correct so far...
-
Re: Spirit Mafia (In Play)
Gah! What was I saying!
Unvote: Chaotix27 ; Vote: LittleGrizzly
I somehow neglected the first half of that PM - the fact that the role blocker was probably mafia. The onset of old age seems to be taking control over me somehow.
-
Re: Spirit Mafia (In Play)
Im just a regular townie, i never claimed the ability to role block and as far as i now there isn't any evidence of me role blocking, i mean ylac being suspicious of my actions in the thread is no more reason to vote for me than your own opinion of my actions in the thread, its slightly annoying that ylac's opinion of my in thread actions is being thought of as proof whereas its no more than someones opinion (someone who read midgard 2 thread and made a comment on it about me back when he was alive)
ok here comes the complicated bit..... who to vote... too many inactive people.... ill throw it on my old teamate
Vote Sarathos
Talk scum!
-
Re: Spirit Mafia (In Play)
I suspected you, because on night 2, the night before I said anything at all, I was roleblocked. This means they became suspicious of me on day one, which means I would have had to do something on day one. Since I only voted for you, I thought that they were suspicious of me because of that.

Vote: LittleGrizzly
We might as well go with the first part of YLC's PM while we have nothing else to go on.

Re: Spirit Mafia (In Play)
No idea.
Gotta vote quick, before closing.
Sorry host for no tally. We didn't want to run one this time, I guess.
vote: abstain
-
Re: Spirit Mafia (In Play)
Tally, anyway (in order of voting; since we apparently have time):
El Diablo: 1 (Sigurd)
CountArach: 1 (Crazed Rabbit)
KukriKhan: 1 (GeneralHankerchief)
LittleGrizzly: 2 (Omanes, CountArach)
Sarathos: 1 (LittleGrizzly)
Abstain: 1 (KukriKhan)

Re: Spirit Mafia (In Play)
I'll have the writeup posted within one hour.
Consider LittleGrizzly lynched.
Ignoramus has been WoG'd.
Please begin sending in orders.

Re: Spirit Mafia (In Play)
Really think i would do something to the one person who voted me... thats just obviously bad mafia strategy...

Re: Spirit Mafia (In Play)
The servants and guards convened once more to attempt to decipher who was the malevolent spirit in disguise. Makaikhaan waited for several hours before hearing any sound aside from the crickets outside. "Well, does nobody have anything to say? Does nobody have suspicions, or something to contribute?!" A few meager hands went up. "Well, get at it!" The few who dared to raise their hands voiced out a few votes of suspicion towards whose whom they thought was the murdering spirits. However, the discussion frequently died out, leaving yet more cricket chirps ringing through the main chamber. Beyond a window, the sun was beginning to set, and a borderline furious Makaikhaan stood up, fire in his eys. "Is this it? Do you NOT care for your own lives? Damn it!" Makaikhaan grabbed a sword from a nearby servant. He stomped up to a random servant, Ignoramus, and decapitated him on the spot with one swing. "Do you have a choice?! IS THERE SOMEONE WHO YOU THINK IS GUILTY!?" Hands quickly shot out in every direction, a panicked look upon each servant and guard's face. Makaikhaan counted the hands, and marched straight up to the receipient of the highest percentage. LittleGrizzly's face contorted into panick, and he scrambled backwards away from the angry lord.
However, Makaikhaan was having none of it. He leaped forward, bringing the sword down much like a point downwards, stabbing LittleGrizzly in the leg. LittleGrizzly howled in pain, curling on the floor. Makaikhaan slashed at the screaming servant, over and over again, at least 23 times, until the body was unrecognizably chopped into several pieces. Makaikhaan turned his head towards the shocked faces of all the rest in the room. "Get your :daisy: into gear!" he snarled, before tossing the sword back to a servant, and storming out of the room.
Tally:
LittleGrizzly: 2 (Omanes, CountArach)

Any reason for the number 23 ? :beam:
Also, may I again point a finger to El Diablo. He has now 4 no-votes in a row and are double eligible for a WoG. Yet he lives another day. Why?

I don't really think he's anything "special". There is a quantity of players in a similar situation.

nope... He is the only one alive with 4 no-votes.
Ignoramus was lynched. Why are you trying to calm the waters? :stare:

Re: Spirit Mafia (In Play)
I don't seems to understand the killing pattern of the mafia. They have killed a few inexperienced players including me. If I were the mafia I would of surely went for the more experienced players like Sigurd or GH. This kind of puzzels me.

Re: Spirit Mafia (In Play)
Sorry about missing the previous vote, won't miss it this day phase I promise

Re: Spirit Mafia (In Play)
FactionHeir was lynched in Post 203 (D3).
So:
Alive: 13
Anelious Phyros
Caius
Chaotix27
CountArach
CrazedRabbit
El Diablo
GeneralHankerchief
glyphz
KukriKhan
Omanes Alexandropolites
Sarathos
Shlin28
Sigurd Fafnesbane
Just trying to keep the record straight.
I agree Sigurd. The El Diablo case = fishy, as is Omanes Alexandropolites' poo-pooing it's significance.

Re: Spirit Mafia (In Play)
Anelious Phyros knelt before a small shrine which had been just recently erected. He lit a stick of incense, and placed it before a tiny, bronze statue, the most he could afford. Ever since the priest had warned of spirit invasions, he had been lighting incense and offering it to the gods every night. He was feeling a bit confident, having been spared by the wrathful spirits. A calming wisp of smoke floated upwards from the stick, giving a somewhat surreal feeling for Anelious Phyros. However, even his dulled state, he was aware of the door behind him sliding open. A strong gust followed, tossing the shrine, as well as Anelious Phyros, to the other side of the room. Anelious Phyros groggily attempted to get to his feet, but he was unable to even get to his feet before a black-skinned, beastly creature had him by his throat. Anelious Phyros tried kicking and struggling, but his crushed airway quickly put a stop to it. He let his body go limp, hoping to play possum. However, the creature only tightened its grip on its throat, until only three seconds later, the clawed hand completey sliced through the throat, effectively rending Anelious Phyros' head from his body, though it still clung by a few strong strands, resulting in a bloddy mess about the corner of the room and the desecrated shrine. The creatured licked the blood from his hands, turning back out the door of its newest victim.
Caius sat in the corner of his room, studying the pages of a book very intently. He was determined to become a more literate person, and hopefully become a merchant or diplomat someday. He wouldn't let anything interfere with his ambiton, not even a belligerant spirit. He flipped a page, and dipped his brush into an ink bottle. Over on the other side of the room, the door calmly slid open, a red humanoid entering in. Caius looked up, his eyes widening. He noticed a book and brush in the being's left and right hands respectively.
"Can you help me learn?" Caius queried in an awed voice. He recognized the being was not normal,a spirit likely. How could there be no better teacher? The being did not respond. Instead, it continued a steady pace towards Caius. As it reached him, the being sat down cross legged, directly in front of Caius. The being had an interested look upon its face, almost quizzical, as it studied the man in front of it. After a minute or two, the being set its own book down upon the floor, and brushed a few strokes on the first page. Caius' face betrayed his confusion. "Well? Are you tea-". Suddenly, Caius' eyes bulged, his throat gasped, and he collapsed to his right, knocking over his bottle of ink in the process. The being stood up, closed its book, and stared with an almost pitying look on its face at the deceased student. Nonetheless, it still left the room, book and brush in hand, leaving another body in its proverbial wake.
El Diablo lay in his bead, in a state of near comatose. His chest just barely rose with each breath, and he did not roll or even toss in his slumber. A heavy mist hung in the air, an almost palpable presence hung in the room, though clearly there was nobody else there. Clearly and instantly, El Diablo's eyes snapped open. He attempted to get out of his bed, though it was clearly a struggle. Joints snapped, and muscles stretched, as though they hadn't been used in days. El Diablo staggered around the room, clearly looking for something. He stumbled from the room, down the hall way. His eyes blankly scanned the hall, until they stopped at an instant. A sword hung from a hanging in an opulent room just off the end of the hallway. El Diablo straggled to the room until he reached the blade. He reached out a hand out and gripped the hilt with his right hand. He extended his arm forwards pointing the sword at himself. Gripping with his 2nd hand, he rammed the sword straight throug his own bowels, then ripped the sword left, f urther opening up his midsection. And as suddenly as he had woken up, El Diablo collapsed to the floor, blood and entrails spilling from his bowels. In the dead quiet, a shor tittering could be heard for just a few seconds.

I guess i had that coming after midgard, still irritating though... tbh i think GH may be a good lynch his behaviour is a bit different to midgard...

Re: Spirit Mafia (In Play)
I honestly don't see what I've done to make me look like a mafioso. Maybe I haven't been contributing as much as you guys have? I'm sorry, I'll try to help out more. I really haven't had a whole lot of time on my hands, so for each vote I just looked at what you guys said and picked the one that seemed most convincing to me.

Re: Spirit Mafia (In Play)
vote: Sarathos
He hasn't voted for three rounds in a row, but still hasn't been WoG'd. He posted to join, and posted once again to lynch Ibn in the first round. And we've had three more votes since then.

Re: Spirit Mafia (In Play)
Yeah, Sarathos and El Diablo seem pretty suspicious, as they really haven't posted this whole time.

Re: Spirit Mafia (In Play)
I think it would be a good idea to lynch anyone who should have been WoGed but hasn't.
-
Re: Spirit Mafia (In Play)
El Diablo hasn't posted even once to vote. Vote: El Diablo

I don't know about you, but that makes him a bit less suspicious to me.
