Not hate, but productivity. I've never agreed with not lynching unless their is a tangible benefit in doing so.

pevergreen has lived till end game in the last 5 or 6 games. Many players rarely even hit end-game at all (including myself) and are usually lynched early.
So pevergreen getting killed early for once isn't much hoo-haa, it is just the equalibrium of things.
I think both sides of the issue have already been explored in other games, but since there is a wave of "no lynch is bad" posts, I'll explain my thoughts on the position. Fair warning, I don't want to start a debate on this, I know full well the pros and cons.
In a non vanilla game like this and starting at Day 1 instead of Night 1 with the murders, No Lynch keeps one more player alive at a time where the odds of lynching anyone worthwhile are at an all time low. We have no idea how many kills per night will be made nor any record for the behavior of the players. The fact that Day 1 is treated as some trivial jokey random vote fest is proof of that. So yes, I believe that in an unknown setup like this and with no kills having yet been performed, No Lynch is a viable alternative. (I don't think it is inherently superior, but I feel it has its merits.)
I agree completely ^
Thefore Unvote, Vote:No Lynch
Extremely good point.
Unvote: ArpeggiateTHIS, Vote: No lynch
No reason to waste my vote I guess.
It is a certain host's 2-year anniversary today, and I will be going out this evening with my lady. Therefore I may not be able to do the writeup exactly on time. However, by the tally, you should be able to anticipate what happened and then send in your night actions accordingly.
The round will also end precisely when the clock strikes midnight, meaning when it is a new day, it is too late. 23:59 is still legal, 0000 is not. That's eastern USA time, (GMT -5:00) and approx. 6.5 hours away.
Have fun!
True, there are good reasons to no lynch. OTOH, I don't want pever to live to the end and get converted/waste a vig kill/something else like that again... :D
People are making cases Day 1?
Scum alert
My understanding of this game is that almost all the player have some kind of a ability.
If thats the case, No lynch could grant us a extra night ability.
How to explain myself... :idea2:
How about this: I think No Lynch is what we should aim for, but I know of/understand the merits behind lynching someone on Day 1.
I was trying to explain the merits I saw in No Lynch, while avoiding a huge debate on the issue because its been done quite a few times already. So that's why the post is very conciliatory.
I also don't like telling people what to do.
My track record in large games where No Lynch is an option clearly show I support that notion, since that's what I voted in every single one of them.
Knowing our luck, if we kill someone it'll be Fox, and if we don't, the leader of votes would have been Wolf.
I am wondering why pevergreen is so panicky though, it is itching my scumdar quite considerably.
Maybe, I get you two confused sometimes.
BESKAAAAAAAAAR
Its my revenge, since I'm not allowed to talk about you know what. And since I was unfairly targeted by ATPG, well...
Huh? How'd you get that?
First part of my last line was about ATPG's new rule, second part refers to ATPG taking me out of action Night 1 in Beefy's game.
First line, self explanatory, second line...well.
Lets just say that I enjoy the fact that looking at your location makes me realise I'll never go in against a sicilian, when death is on the line. :laugh4:
Not everyone has an ability the default Conerian/Venorminan/Whatever PM Pizza posted on page 4 has no ability.
....sorry, but there are too many mafia in this game to go with a No Lynch strategy.
The total anti-town forces are probably going to be: Team Star Wolf (3), Andross (1), Pigma (1), possibly Krystal (1) and maybe even some sort of WTF-surprise-role (1). That's about 7.
We don't start lynching now, we'll never finish. Bet it's all the neutrals who want No Lynch.
Sorry pever, but
Unvote, Vote: pevergreen
I don't want to lynch you, but I don't want to lynch nobody more.
Wouldn't Krystal be neutral?
Hence the "possibly" there.
I'm going with the assumption that she's at the very least a power role and capable of killing townies.
Also, for all we know Slippy could be a serial killer. It's the sort of thing I would do. (Especially since I don't do jokers anymore :clown:)
I think I did a pretty good job in Who Wants to be a Mafionaire? on CFC...
It's either page 5 or 9-11, depending on how many posts you have displayed per page. I have 40, and I think the default is 20, so good luck.
Maan, I had such hope for me in this game, I was going to quote all these Lylat Wars (Star Fox 64 for the Americans amongst us) lines.
I demand to die realising there is something wrong with my G-Diffuser, then crashing into the ground at a thousand miles an hour.
The vote is closed, tally and writeup will begin, maybe in a few hours.
In the meantime; night actions to me please.
