Glad you asked... According to some deities, which hangs around in the world beyond - Your lynch choice of today is one of them... able to give townies powers. Hence neutral or non Mafia. I am not sure how important these purple named characters are to the game or how they could aid us in getting rid of the burgundy characters (Mafia). One among them claims the town is doomed if more are removed from play.
You apparently have already gotten rid of the rest with only today's lynch choice and another which name himself OLD ONE remaining.
Oh... and I can only answer the questions you ask... so be as specific as possible.

Re: That Creeping Darkness (IN PLAY)
Round ends in 30 minutes, after that Sigurd may no longer speak, so ask away while you can.
And a tally would be most helpful.

I made a huge mistake in another game and I knew it was about to bit me in the butt when I found out beskar was protected last night.
You sealed your fate with your claim you were going to help Andres  Wish you had not jumped the gun.
So Sigurd was voted by the ghosts and his ability is to communicate with the living - is that why he cant speak after the round is over? no...wait. the ghosts vote during the day to perform a night action right? Gah...i cant make sense of what anyone is talking anyway. :help:

Re: That Creeping Darkness (IN PLAY)
Ok, I'm going to try something.
I have a feeling there is a powerful, presently neutral being still remaining in this place. There's an opportunity to greatly, greatly expand your power and influence, if you would send one of your representatives to discuss with me.
It's worth the risk. You're not the town's enemy at this point. As the OP predicted, you'll be our savior. But seeing as I'll be dead soon and I don't feel like sharing this plan with anyone else (other than a trusted confidante), your only option is to contact me before I die; after that it will be too late.

Re: That Creeping Darkness (IN PLAY)
Then he's far too easily spooked. A being in his position shouldn't be. This game seems to be designed for the townspeople to ally with someone. The Old One can either have town support or not.

Re: That Creeping Darkness (IN PLAY)
End Day 4...
--------------------------------------
"Will the accused please step forward?" Lovell spoke to the crowd gathered at the town hall. The day had dragged on long as from start one person had stood out - Doctor Pen. A man by the name of Antonio had spoken up and accused him using solid evidence, pointing out the Doctors extreme change in behavior.
It wasn't long before it was leaked out that Antonio might be some under cover detective, but by then it was a foregone conclusion - votes piled in and Doctor Pen was handcuffed and taken before the town hall. Little discussion was had along the way, with Antonio in the lead.
Now, with Doctor Pen in front of Doctor Lovell, the crowd burst into a roar, asking for Doctor Pens head. However, with a smile shared between both men, Doctor Lovell waved them silent. "It is good to see you again, old friend and colleague. Still continued into your research in quantum theory? That subatomic particles have a collective consciousness?"
Doctor Pen laughed heartily, his old frame seemingly sturdy beyond it's years. "Oh indeed, and I found the evidence I was looking for years ago - I've even brought it with me." Holding out a fading manilla envelope, Doctor Pen offered it to Doctor Lovell. Taking it gently, Lovell tucked it under his arm. "I hope to continue your research then, Doctor Pen," Lovell said softly.
Doctor Pen tipped his hat, and spoke truimpantly, a hint of sadness in his voice. "I think, it is time for me to go then." Nodding to Gasmask, Lovell turned his back as his underling proceeded to grab Doctor Pen by the head, and twisted it off, the body immediatly falling into convulsions. Getting a feel of it's weight first, Gasmask gripped the head firmly and with a mighty effort, heaved it into the crowd.
The body, once it had finished twitching, dissolved into pink, icky fluid that evaporated into a swarm of bubbles, all flying up and up into the air until in turn each one popped with spine chilling malevolence.
As the crowd settles and disperses, Doctor Lovell, Gasmask, and Mr. Black all return to the interior of the town hall, the doors closed behind them. But outside, a young gentleman in a white suit and fedora flashes a grin, a gleem in his eyes. He is a striking, handsome man, and he walks briskly up the steps, swinging a cane in his hand in a large arc.
As he approaches the doors to the town hall, they are flung open, and walks briskly through the halls to Lovell's room, who is startled to have his doors open so swiftly to reveal the white coated man. Tipping his hat to Doctor Lovell, the white suited man quickly takes a seat, and props his legs up on an available ottoman.
His voice is akin to brightly colored silk, both eye and ear catching while being entrancing to hear. "Good Evening Dr. Lovell, I am Nyxius. I doubt you know of me but I believe that over the coming days, we shall.... come to know each other... much better. I have seen your accomplishments, and I do say, I am most impressed. I shall make sure my master knows of your deeds."
Before Doctor Lovell can say more, Gasmask enters in a panic, clearly disturbed and worried. Doctor Lovell looks at him irately, but when he returns to look for the mysterious young man, he find the chair empty, except for the mans cane, which upon it sits a wolves head...

Re: That Creeping Darkness (IN PLAY)
End Night 4...
Give me a little bit - this be up within the hour along with the night results
Deep inside a dark enclave out in the forest surrounding the town, a man prays too a warped idol, constructed of bubbling, infected flesh submerged partially in festering stagnate water, creating the illusion of a demented bubble machine.
The little light that illuminated this scene of blaspheme flickered uncontrollably, giving the worshiper before it a crazed if not a demonic appearance. "Yes...I shall avenge you my master...they will pay for their insolence, in their own blood. They will never be safe, for you shall guide me as your most faithful - through space, through time!"
--------------------------------------
Adastriea sighed as she flipped through the pages of her book, stopping occasionally to look over some of the anatomical drawings, mumbling derision on the quality of work. She sat in her warm comfy leather recliner, a lamp casting a soft glow across the room from on top of a night stand, smoke curling up from a lit cigar sitting in an ash tray.
The dead silence was broken by a loud rapping upon her door. Infuriated that her peace had been broken, Adastriea stormed through her house and wrenched open the door, and barked at the man upon her doorstep. "I am busy! Either state your business or begone!"
The gentleman outside her door smiled and pulled out something from behind his back...
--------------------------------------
Antonio tossed and turned in his bed, clearly in the thrall of a terrifying nightmare. He dreamed that someone was in danger, and they called out to him, begging him to save them. He woke in a panic, quickly entangling himself in his bed covers, and falling to the floor.
Quickly regaining his senses, he reached for his lamp, and then fumbled for his glasses. Finally managing to disentangling himself from his comfy trap of bedsheets, he checked the red blinking display of his alarm clock, which showed that the power had gone out almost 3 hours ago. Cursing under his breath, he quickly threw some clothes on, and went through his house, setting the clocks back to their correct time.
Walking to the kitchen, he flicked on the light, which then promptly blew out. Muttering more curses, he made his way over to his tool cupboard, and quickly obtained a new lightbulb. grabbing a chair from the dinning room, ATPG quickly changed out the faulty bulb for a new one. However, the light kicked back on in his hand, blinding him and singing his fingers, yelping, he fell from the chair.
Rubbing the back of his head, he looked about in trepid amazement. Written all over every surface, engarved directly into the wood, were the words "You better, hurry! Tick, Tock, Tick Tock, you know what I'm talkin bout!" Fear gripped him as it dawned on him...quickly gathering his wits and revolver, he headed out of his house to find the person from his dreams, his only clue, a blood stained note with an address...
--------------------------------------
Lovell sipped from his tonic as he sat at his desk, papers strewn over it detailing reports from his soldiers that maintained the quarantine. Most the reports seemed fine, and he quickly tossed them to the way side, and picked up a report from one of his agents from inside the town. What was on it had so engrossed Lovell, that he failed to take notice when Gasmask entered, and for a solid 10 minutes Gasmask stood their waiting in the silence, the only sound coming from Lovell's rustling of papers and the clinking of his glass.
Finally, Lovell looked up and was startled to see Gasmask before him. About to reprimand him for disturbing him, Lovell recalled that he had asked Gasmask to appear before him, as he had a special assignment that none of the agents were up to.
"I am glad you finally showed up - your ten minutes late you know. I want you to be more punctual from now on, it is not seemingly to have you not held to the same standards everyone else is." Pulling out a sheet of paper from the stacks towering on his desk, Lovell quickly scanned it before handing it over to Gasmask. "That is your target, and all the information we have on it. Please take care of it for me."
Gasmask said nothing, but turned and walked away. Before he left, Lovell called out to him, causing him to stop and listen. "I am depending on you, Sam...do not disappoint me." Silence followed as the words sank in, and the air became heavy with it. Finally, Gasmask exited Lovell's office, and the tension that had built up dissipated.
--------------------------------------
He crawled, on all fours, up the side of the building, his breath heavy and ripping with vulgar energy. sitting upon it's roof, perched as if a gargoyle, he watched through the skylight of the small home building, looking down at his victim from above, as they moved from the front door and into the living room. Saliva dripped heavily from his mouth, his teeth filed to sharp points. His eyes, red from disuse and mistreatment, watched with insane fervor at the vulnerability of his chosen victim...now, only to leap...and give praise to his god proper...
--------------------------------------
Antonio huffed and puffed as he made his way down the street, finally sighting the address he was looking for, ans spying a man in a trenchcoat enter it, a shifty look upon his countenance, illuminated by light from within. Panicking, Antonio galvanized himself and gave a burst of energy towards the building, praying that hopefully he was in time...
--------------------------------------
In a dark corner, a black mist began forming. It curled malignantly, grasping at nothing, as if trying to strangle it. It grew and grew, and as it did, it took shape, and became hard. Colors rippled across the forming surfaces, as organs grew and flesh exploded from nothing and into something. Soon, a whole body was formed, and upon it clothes weaved themselves, and, only for a moment, a face could be seen, all humanity long washed from it's surface.
Gasmask shook himself, and flexed his hands. Looking about his surroundings, he strode from that dark corner in an abandoned room purposefully, and into the light of a hallway...
--------------------------------------
Throwing open the door, Antonio barged into the dimly lit house, looking about, his gun at the ready. Scanning about with determination, he began to move cautiously about, keeping his senses and wits about him. Suddenly, a crash sounded from an adjacent room, and was followed by an inhuman scream. Rushing to the room, ATPG kicked the doors open, and fell on his rear in terrified shock.
--------------------------------------
"Sorry miss, but we are gunna have to move you out for now and into a safer location. By orders of Doctor Lovell, we are to search this premises for the taint of psychics." The man finished pulling out a clipboard with names.
Adastriea's face turned a bright red, clearly ready to object, but the man's eyes quickly averted any protestations. There was something about them that was so hypnotizing...entrancing...dominating, and his smile was irrefutably irresistible. Stamping back into her house in frustration at being so easily turned, Adastriea collected that which she would need for the night, and then proceeded to let the gentleman escort her to the car.
Signaling to his unwilling partner, Winston Hughes, who had been asked to stand in for Adastriea at her apartment until proper authorities could arrive, the gentleman got in the drivers seat, as Winston got out of it, and looking in the rearview mirror at Adastriea, he smiled. "Ready miss?"
Adastriea responded off-handedly in the affirmative, and with his cane at his side, the gentleman pressed on the gas and they disappeared into the night, leaving poor Winston behind, a simple townsperon thrust into a ridiculous situation, to watch over her house.
Quickly entering inside, Winston made for the study, finding a half smoked cigar and a full bottle of whiskey. Smiling smugly to himself, he popped open the whiskey and started to pour himself a glass, when from above the skylight shattered and a mass of fury and limbs descended upon him...
--------------------------------------
Antonio watched as before him a being that resembled something human ripped and tore at Winston Hughes body, who was whimpering from pain far to much for his brain to stand. He was dumbfounded, for this could not be right...he was not here for Winston, but for Winston he was here, this was true. His mind fizzled at the problem, and his conscious sank into the background as instincts took over. Fumbling with his gun, Antonio brought it to bear and aimed at the "thing" but was interrupted by the entrance of Gasmask behind him.
Whirling on the new intruder, Antonio pulled the trigger, and a round hit Gasmask square in the chest. Grunting, Gasmask grabbed the babbling Antonio by the throat, he crushed his neck in the palm of his hand and tossed Antonio's twitching body to the wayside, his attention centering on the creature which had finished with Winston. Turning around and facing Gasmask, it sensed it could not win, and dashed at an open window, busting through and disappearing into the murky darkness of the night.
Looking down at Winston's flayed body, his flesh pulled apart and his internals pulled apart to form 3 letters, Gasmask decided that he had nothing more to do here, and quickly dissipated back into the dark mist from whence he came.
As the light faded from both Antonio's and Winston's eyes, a gentleman in a white fedora and suit appeared, brandishing a cane. His eyes gleamed with delightful malevolence, and underneath the suit of the dashing man rippled a thousand unnamed, crawling horrors. He merely tipped his hat, and smiled...
--------------------------------------
Far away from the madness of the night, Diamanto was getting ready to go to bed, and was finishing up by brushing his teeth. Halfway through, he stopped to check his handiwork, when his reflection suddenly twitched. Taken aback, Diamanto peered inquisitively at his likeness. After a minute of nothing happening, he shrugged and relegated it to nothing more then his eyes playing tricks on him.
As soon as he went back to brushing his teeth, his reflection dropped it's tooth brush and slammed it's hands upon the glass mirror, which promptly shook as if from impact. Diamanto fell and crawled backwards as he watched his reflection open it's mouth in a scream, the foaming toothpaste bubbles in it's mouth bubbling over in a froth. As the bubbles grew, each one began to take on a face, and crimson blood began to ink it's way across the surface of the monstrous blobs.
Like a demented fire, flesh began to consume the froth, turning bubble into blister, and the faces into a screaming chorus, all held within the ever expanding razor sharp toothy maw of the most hideous reflection. Diamanto screamed like a child and tried to escape by pressing himself through his bathroom wall, but to no avail, and as he pushed to escape, the monster in the mirror pushed it's way through the mirror, which warped with such terrifying sound.
Closing his eyes, Diamanto screamed until his throat became dry, and only an hour afterwards did he dare look about to see that all was back to as it had been, and his reflection was as cowardly as he was. He had escaped the nightmare...but for how long?
ATPG, aka Antonio Tammaro Palmiro Guerra and Winstons Hughes, aka Winstons Hughes, have been killed during the night.

This yells scum to me.
Follow this line of thoughts:
-Nictel is scum-
-He's killed Winston.
-He doesn't read through the update properly.
-But when he sees an accusation against me, he jumps the chance to dry it off on me.
Please, lynch Nictel asap. Either before or after getting rid of me.
EDIT: Heck he didn't even bother looking at the busdriver switch... What the?

Re: That Creeping Darkness (IN PLAY)
Your interpretation of "clearly" is far different from mine. (Also, your vote formatting is wrong. /helpful ) I get the following from today's write-up:
-- Mr Stinky-bubbles has a new disciple.
-- Andres/Gasmask (who is rather more than just a guy in a funky costume) killed ATPG
-- ATPG was bodyguard for Adastreia?
-- someone who said he was from Lovell acted as a bus-driver to switch Adastreia and Winston, in the process protecting Adastreia from that point-toothed guy
-- "Diamante" (Diamondeye?) is having something nasty happen to him, maybe
Heck with it. Diamondeye probably does have to die, but in the meantime
vote: Nictel for scummy skimming. There's nothing in there that indicates CFC.

IDK, I think the Diamante/Diamondeye is too obvious. Not sure I buy it.

Re: That Creeping Darkness (IN PLAY)
So the fact that Sigurd was "Sigurd Sigurdsson", ATPG was something with four names that sported A, T, P and G as capital letters and Winston Hughes was Winstos Hughes or something like that, combined with the fact that I am so sure of the name that I am voting to kill myself for the good of the town is not enough hint for you?
-
Re: That Creeping Darkness (IN PLAY)
Look at ATPG's name again. And Sigurd Sigurdson
-
Re: That Creeping Darkness (IN PLAY)
What does Country Fried Chicken got to do with anything?
Though more seriously, the Diamento character seems to be fine for now (quote:" He had escaped the nightmare...but for how long?"), it could be related to CDF's "seeing the light" ability he discussed last round. It could mean there are cultists here still, possibility trying to spread the word of Cthulhu.
There was an interesting comment from ATPG last round which suggested siding with the cultists was the only way for the town to win (but ultimately lose). The name of the game is afterall "The Creeping Darkness" and being honest, while Andres seems to be some mad-man who is a godfather who took over the town, he doesn't strike as being a "Creeping Darkness" like ACIN, CDF, etc seem to suggest with their roles.
I would go out on a limb and say Andres isn't the true bad-guy facing the town, but infact, it is "The Creeping Darkness" which the Cthulhu Cult seem to ring bells with. Maybe in an ultimate twist, Andres could even be our saviour of sorts, as afterall, he is a doctor and he is currently doing research and he obviously picked this place. Perhaps he took over the town to try to stop the Creeping Darkness from being released? Afterall, you have to remember, this is an YLC game, not "run of the mill gotta' stomp them".
Obviously there has to be more people here with information. You have these psychics, what is their connection? Do they see the Creeping Darkness coming? Are they able to read the intentions? Why are these opposed to Andres in a more lore-based way? Then there is Andres, Andres, what is your true and ultimate goal in all of this? Are you simply taking over the town for power, or is that just something you had to do, to stop the Creeping Darkness or even support it? What is this research you recieved from CDF and what work are you doing? As for the Cultists and the Old One, what is your true aim and goal in this?
There are many untold answers, and possibly even more untold questions.
For now, I will Vote: Nictel due to his susipicious post.

Re: That Creeping Darkness (IN PLAY)
No Beskar, I don't need to take over the town. I merely need to take out one person: Psychic 0.
Since nobody of the power roles, except CDF (who, unfortunately, got lynched) wishes to cooperate with me, I'm kinda forced to use what I have.
If the pro town power roles wish to combine their forces with me, then my pm box is open.
Help me finding Psychic 0 and I'm happy.
Alternatively, I could just keep killing until I have Psychic 0. I don't care either way; I am neutral and a-moral.
I just need Psychic 0's skin for my research.

Re: That Creeping Darkness (IN PLAY)
I am considering that Adrasteia might be DBL A considering her name was shortened "Ada". But Atheotes might fit better on second thought.
Anyway, it seems the consensus that I am not an imminent danger. Unvote: Diamondeye; Vote Nictel

Re: That Creeping Darkness (IN PLAY)
So diamondeye is claiming to be Diamanto, and voted himself but now switched off. Why don't you tell us more about yourself?

Alright, so assuming this is correct, Andres is not the biggest badguy out there and obviously not the Creeping Darkness.
There was the thing where Andres saved Adastriea from doom from a big beast creature, who ran away from Gas Mask and they seemed hostile to eachother. This indicates that Andres faction and the Darkness faction are not allies, but infact enemies.
Also, what faction is Psychic 0? Is he a town, or is he a purple? What is Psychic 0's goal in all of this? to simply survive? To defeat Andres? Would the town even handing Psychic 0 over to Andres actually be in our benefit?
Though I am guessing Psychic 0 can contact and talk to the Ghost Council. The Ghost Council seems able to use abilities. A thing to note is "When good, non-mafia players die.." that means Ghosts could ultimately be on our side, though it did suggest that some ghosts "are not who they might be".
Ultimately, the town is lacking quite a bit of vital information. Who are the Psychics and this Mysterious Psychic 0 ? Who is the Old One, is it Cthulhu? What are these creatures, who is the man in the white suit who has a face of thousand horrors?
If any of the following could private message me and provide me with information which I can share on your behalf, I would be grateful.

Actually, Double A does seem like a good choice as well. Could either Double A or Atheotes confirm or deny this?

There's a very simple reason (which explains why I sit with no information and am at a loss to what's going on): I don't have any more to tell. I'm a basic townie; no PM. That's about what you can know about me from my PoV. Which is why this mention of the person I suppose is me (and who seems ordinary) in the update scared me quite a bit.
I am with Beskar on this one; we need some information!

Well, at this time, I think you are harmless, as it did suggest you were saved for now. It might imply that in the future, you might become a threat or something if attacked again, thus need to be taken out then, but that can wait for then, as you see with the Guy in White Suit, Monsters, etc, killing a simple townie now when they don't have to die seems a bad choice.

Didn't you see the enormous wall of text? I'm not going to read all that.
Only two things are important, who was killed and who could have done it. All that text just blinds us from the truth!

Re: That Creeping Darkness (IN PLAY)
Why did Gasmask kill ATPG if Andres is so friendly to the Town? ATPG was a claimed pro-town investigator, and his death was not going to lead toward but if anything away from determining the identity of Psychic Zero. Andres is lying, and Beskar is helping him do it.
Screw Nictel; his scummy skimming can wait.
unvote, vote: Beskar

How am I helping Andres doing anything? I am sorry that proposing questions that need to be answered to unravel a YLC game = scummy, since if I was Andres/Psychic 0/Cultured Drizzt fan/Old One, I would know these answers already and would most likely be in my interest to not reveal them. Why does Andres need Psychic 0's skin?
Why did Gasmask kill ATPG? We don't know, but why did ATPG try to kill Ada (Double A/Atheotes), why did a Monster also try to attack Ada? Why did Andres save Ada?
Why did you miss that information out on purpose?
Is Ada some one the town should be killing?
-
Re: That Creeping Darkness (IN PLAY)
Excuse me for speaking but I strongly interpret that "wall of text" as if ATPG is trying to protect Ada.
Luckily, as far as I understand, we can simply ask him.
AskThePizzaGuy, what role does Ada play in this and were you protecting or killing her?
-
Re: That Creeping Darkness (IN PLAY)
ATPG wasn't trying to kill Ada; that read to me like a call for protection. Which suggests ATPG was lying through his teeth about being an investigator, but Andres shouldn't have known that. And in any case, he might not have been lying; the protection may not have been his own choice:
Quote:
He dreamed that someone was in danger, and they called out to him, begging him to save them.
Quote:
Written all over every surface, engarved directly into the wood, were the words "You better, hurry! Tick, Tock, Tick Tock, you know what I'm talkin bout!" Fear gripped him as it dawned on him...quickly gathering his wits and revolver, he headed out of his house to find the person from his dreams, his only clue, a blood stained note with an address...
Quote:
Panicking, Antonio galvanized himself and gave a burst of energy towards the building, praying that hopefully he was in time...
Quote:
he was not here for Winston, but for Winston he was here, this was true. His mind fizzled at the problem, and his conscious sank into the background as instincts took over. Fumbling with his gun, Antonio brought it to bear and aimed at the "thing"
This STRONGLY implies a mission of protection and not assassination, and mildly implies it wasn't ATPG's own choice (that is, his order), but that of someone else, presumably Ada herself. So Ada was protected twice.
As for who Ada is, read the first post again. [Edited to add: Heck, you used the shortened version of the name yourself, you already knew. You're blowing smoke, Beskar.]
Regarding you, you just assisted Andres in making a plea to town to buy the idea that he might not really be all that bad. I don't know if that means you're a henchman, a dupe; or heck, maybe he's even trying to frame you. But in any case the idea, I believe, is a dangerous one. Andres is the mafia godfather for the game, and killing ATPG got him no closer to his claimed goal and town further from ours.

I thought ATPG might have tried to stop Ada, as Lowell tried to protect her, and he was trying to get there before he was too late. Though, it could be too late for the monster. [Edit: which he actually might have]
But if ATPG was trying to protect her, why was he protecting a target which Lowell was also trying to protect? How did both Lowell and ATPG both know that Ada was in danger? Who sent this dream? Psychic 0?
Question to the Ghosts, Sigurd, ATPG, who that can answer. Are you able to address any of our questions and if so, would you be willing?

You obviously never played a YLC game before, because that is what he doesn't do.
In his last game, YLC said there was a terrorist on board a space-ship who we had to catch and get rid out. Nice and simple, just like the beginning of this game.
Want to know what the end result of?
There were about 2 different cults, various mason/mafia groups, an intergalatic battle between gods, the rise of the God of Random, (who was Chaotix) then there was his twin sister, (ATPG) who was part of a mason group, but also this evil goddess in diguise, who killed the God of Random, who was then killed by a mysterious Death God.
In short, never take a YLC game at face value.
Also, notice how the game is "Creeping Darkness" and Andres is not a Creeping Darkness, and there is a Cthulhu cults, psychics, ghosts, Old Ones, etc running around? It is far more than the simple game it is, and we need to think outside the box.

Re: That Creeping Darkness (IN PLAY)
I do think it is very likely that this "creeping darkness" is as much a danger to Andres as to the rest of us. For that reason I'm not going to begrudge Ada her protection coming in part from Lovell.

Which is exactly what I was saying, while Andres is the bad guy (not saying he is necessarily good), he isn't THE bad guy (cue: Creeping Darkness).
Should I unvote and vote you for having the same thought as me? :laugh4:
I know, how about we partner up? It could be like a Dan Brown book. I will be Robert Langdon and you could be the other star (depending on which book you want to choose, or your very own one), and we solve this mystery together and save the day.

Sounds like fun.

Re: That Creeping Darkness (IN PLAY)
Heh. Me? And is that truly due to my idleness (which only set in quite recently), or my past accusations of Beskar? Regardless... I'm going to go for Vote: Nictel for now - claiming the write-ups are unimportant is rude, and using their length as the argument is silly. Whether Beskar is guilty or not, I do not know - although the fact we've got someone with past experience is nice.
-
Re: That Creeping Darkness (IN PLAY)
How's it that you, Beskar, suggest that we think outside the box and not even consider the possibility that although the busdriver in the update (I would guess taht was his role in traditional terms at least) was lying when he said he was from Lovell? Perhaps he was just doing it to be convincing.
Nevertheless, I think you're both right in assuming that we are dealing with plenty of dangers. Which is why the rest of the town and the pro-towns need to wake up soon or we're dead meat.
-
Re: That Creeping Darkness (IN PLAY)
I only remember your past defense of Beskar, Sevis. When I questioned his apparent knowledge of a Cthulhu cult, it was you who came in to explain how reasonable that was.
-
Re: That Creeping Darkness (IN PLAY)
I had Adastriea protected last night by switching her with Winston Hughes.
I knew Winston was just a townie and Adastreia has an important role. Ada is capable of investigating dead bodies to determine their roles and allegiance. I discovered that not so long ago and I thought she was worthy of being protected.
The man in the white suit seems to be our mutual enemy, dear townies. I want the name of a Psychic today or I won't keep helping you against him. If he would be the first to give me Psychic 0, then I wouldn't mind to take out a pro-town power investigator and to decide that he's my ally instead of our mutual enemy.
Your call. But it's do ut des.
-
Re: That Creeping Darkness (IN PLAY)
But doesn't YLC give that information on death anyway? (Such as he revealed the purple people)
Though if Psychic 0 did warn ATPG about the danger to Ada, it would mean that Ada could be a powerful role. Could Ada please contact me in private to tell me more about themselves? With townies dying over you and Andres knows who you are, I can't betray you. I want to know what is special about you.

:no::no:
Cthulhu is in another castle man, he has nothing to do with this (to my understanding.) stop reaching for straws :laugh4:
but beskar is probably innocent because he is just wwwaaayyyy too off to be a power role.

I am not Ada. I guess both the guys who tried to protect and the ones who tried to kill her know who Ada is. So except for us, all mafia know who Ada is (Assuming there are only 2 teams of baddies). So it is probably best for that person to reveal as we CDF confirmed the presence of a protector.

Yeah, at first I thought it might be you, due to the greek connection, but when Bakerboy picked up on that "Ada", I thought Double A.
Since as you correctly say, the bad guys know who Ada is, so does Andres, etc, so all except the town, can you tell us more about yourself Ada? What is your role and what is the history behind your character? Can you help direct the town in anyway, possibly even tell us if any of the dead people were truly bad or not?

I'm very lost at this point. Don't think Beskar or Nictel are guilty, so I'll Vote: Sevis because I don't have any idea about him and don't want to bring up somebody new.

Re: That Creeping Darkness (IN PLAY)
The only thing I think I have figured out is that Andres is one of multiple baddies, and that Ada is deserving of protection, at least until we have more info. Vote:Nictel
-
Re: That Creeping Darkness (IN PLAY)
I'm not convinced about revealing Ada, whoever she is. In a game this size, there's probably more than two teams of baddies imo, and obviously she's already known by a protector, so why inform the rest?

Weeeellllll....... I doubt it. :sweatdrop: I am pretty much the only person in the game who DOESN'T get a role as a ghost. Its a big let down really..... Makes me betraying you all to Andres just a bit sweeter..... :beam:
But YLC, thanks for a awesome game I loved being Yog-Sothoth.
