Alrighty! Finally get a chance to host my own game. I'll have it up in a few hours or so, hopefully.

If you only have access to the internet on the week-ends, you shouldn't host a mafia game...

Can you be a bit more specific?

Is it like Il Padrino, a mafia game with a map where players can hide or go somewhere during the night?

Thats what our big one will be like

Well Andres, I don't have the most detailed idea of the game but what I want is, like Battle Royale there will be a map, for players to get from place to place for the turn, they will have to survive the onslaught of zombies during the night, and during the day they must vote for the person who they think was the one who realesed the T-Virus which is spawning the place with zombies, so once they are able to lynch the T-Virus launcher the "survivors" will win.

i think that if it is day/night it should be mafia, but like Il Padrio (mapped mafia)

But pevergreen, the game works like battle royale, at night you have to send me detailed pm's on how you want to defend yourself from the "zombies". The mafia can each select 4 squares on the map to spawn zombies on, but the mafia don't know where the players are, durning the night. During the day it will be like a voting session for who they think is the mafia of the zombies.

So there are two ways of winning.
-Killing the mafia during night time on the map
or
-Lynching him.

So townies need to vote for who they think is the most scummy. In addition to the discussion in the thread, they might get clues during night actions.

Mafia kills townies, instead of killing a set number of townies each night, they kill whoever is in the wrong place during the night.

It's townies vs mafia, nobody knows who is mafia, there is a night and day phase and players vote to lynch somebody.

I think this can qualify as a mafia game. Since every townie can do something at night, it will feel like everybody has a role. Sounds good :2thumbsup:

Yay!!! Too bad I'm gonna have to wait like a year for all the other big games to finish.

This is good it also means that fr3nzy and my game seems to also qualify as I wasnt completly sure until now

Yup, I'm literally going to have to wait a year till my game starts, since each large game takes about 2 months. Omanes if you dont mind me making a suggestion I think we need to add another section to this hosting queue. We are having more and more games that are like Org.Battle royale style, so maybe make another section for those types of games. ( Yes I'm suggesting this so my game can start sooner ) :beam:

Examples: Acronym, Photoshop tennis, Org. Battle Royale, my future game (even though pevergreen says its more on the mafia side)

I know my add another for non-mafia section idea just got rejected, but I'm still going to nag about the queue wait. How about letting 3 large games run at the same time, I unno, becuase I'm sure some of us dont want to wait a year before our game starts. Yes I'm being a nag.

I've been waiting for two months to host a game. I was just as far down as you are now. Stop whining.

Yeah it doesnt really take that long fr3nzy and I thought we'd have to wait twice as long as what it seems we'll have to wait

Sorry Andres - all of the details are on my laptop, which just happens to be away for repairs. I can't really host until I get it back which should be within ten to fourteen day. My sincere apologies for any inconvenience cause.

True, although the last time I hosted, alot of folks were not on during the 24 hour period. The 48 hour period would increase player input. If things at home change once more, I will probably change the turns back to the standard day.

I am unhappy... I have missed out on a large number of games now, because of time differences.

It's very annoying to wake up and find out you have missed out on a game you have looked forward to, just because you happened to be asleep at 1am when it was posted.
