Re: Representative Democracy [In Play]
Now, I'm interested in hearing your response to my question because I am trying to read your alignment
Why is El Barto scummy to you?
What about Montmorency's tone is off?
Can you pinpoint a specific post for me that you can justify some of your reads?
-
Re: Representative Democracy [In Play]
I don't exactly understand the reasoning around that particular quote but I do think Barto is scummy overall. Wasn't trying to knock your read of him in general.

Okok
I have two more questions pls answer I am not trying to be demanding, just precise
-
Re: Representative Democracy [In Play]
i don't get the whole monty thing
like 'i agree with him on this one topic, but his tone is bad'
i regularly disagree with townies and agree with scums
so if you have an actual reason for townreading him i'd like to hear it
and +1 to monstr's q

Anyway.
Paranoia says that Visor and Zack pushing Cuth D2 was suspiciously coordinated, buuut I did like eg Visor's interactions with Monty and Zack in general, and my only doubt on Cuth scum is that he's sounded almost too scummy to be scum, so I'm only going to think more about that if Cuth is lynched and flips town.
Current read list, roughly ordered:
definitely villagers:
Atheotes
Renata
Cass
probably villager:
Monstrbro
Visor
Zack
(Would preferentially vote any of the above as rep if they had been in my district)
villager lean:
Winston
Schema
Reidquat
Al Sipsclar
no idea:
Jabbz
BSmith
Montmorency (lot of posts, and I agree with him wrt districting and Cuth...but weird tone I don't like)
scum lean:
dicetosser
El Barto
probably scum:
Cuthillius (strangely find his last few posts villagery, but his earlier stuff still makes me think scum)
Vote: Cuthillius
He's totally town, isn't he?

Ftr, this is 100% correct like .003% of the time so
Not likely, but hey maybe I just won the lottery

To elaborate, the chance that any three names are the exact scumteam is about that high

Re: Representative Democracy [In Play]
Monstrbro, you've made >50% of the posts in the last few pages. Can you consolidate?

The context of Rappers is much like here imo. I disagree you're more Towny here so far. Iirc you started same as both here and Snake cult, but picked up your game and branched out after the beginning phase in Rappers to a point where it was plausible you were Town.
My debate with you is the same discussion we've had ?there/before. If you're Town,
drop the 'I'm always scummy'/random talk and a)focus on finding/pushing/hunting wolves; b)give your alignment-related opinions/reasons on the play of other players - form opinions and make them known more than you focus on self pres. Until that happens in a way that furthers/is relatable to Town agenda you stay scum-lean/WTL for me.

Heck if I know. There was something yesterday I found suspicious about him, but I can't remember what it is. On the whole he talks too much for me to take him too seriously as mafia, but I know he's capable of that, so I can't give him too much credit for it. I need to see him be right about some things, maybe.

Noted. I want to see what he says coming up to EoD

No, I will interact with the players in this game as I see fit.
-
Re: Representative Democracy [In Play]
The only player you were interacting with was yourself.
-
Re: Representative Democracy [In Play]
Many of those posts are me canvassing reads from the players in this game
I single them out individually so that I can have a reason to talk to and read them
If I asked @everyone no one would pay attention

Again, false. Many of those posts were me canvassing reads from other players in the game.
-
Re: Representative Democracy [In Play]
Besides, posts are easier to read when bite sized and it forces people to pay attention to me
Which is necessary for me to read them
-
Re: Representative Democracy [In Play]
Monstr, you keep reading Cuth as strong town. What are you thinking of how everyone's reacting to him? Most particularly those who have pushed the case the hardest? I don't see Visor or Zack on your mafia list, why not?

I don't think visor can be scum with Montmorency if Monty is scum, but otherwise his d1 was pretty freaking villagery. If he continues to disagree with me tomorrow on villagers I'll reassess, and if cuth gets lynched and flips wolf I'm willing to put the egg on my face and say "fine."
The last sentence is the same sentiment I have for Zack, because he is also never a wolf with cuth. Admittedly, I have slightly less confidence in Zack town than in visor town but I never got the case against him that people made where they said he "wasn't posting reads" because, well, from my perspective at least d1-d2 he was. Today is an exception but with the holidays who cares. He's also never a wolf with Jabbz, but I still am unsure about whether I want to lynch him today
He COULD theoretically be wolves with visor for the way visor approached zack's slot at EoD by calling to save him, but that argument can also be made against myself and one wrong read does not a wolf make

i.e. you're using the thread as your personal notepad.

Hmm I wonder what benefit this has gained the thread and myself in the case that I am a villager that I am using the thread as my personal note pad
Oh yeah, it means I say exactly what I mean and everyone is well aware of that fact

Odd behavior on day1 but his first post at beginning of day 2, a comprehensive summary about how and why choxorn got lynched makes him more townie than many others in my view. No scum would take the time to do that!
Still his conviction about my own towniness makes me a tiny bit nervous, but still town in my view.

Look, I'm not trying to be testy, I'm simply trying to keep the thread readable. Learn how to multiquote at least.

I found nothing distinctly townie in that long post of his.
-
Re: Representative Democracy [In Play]
Which reminds me, the reason I found him scummy day 2 was because of what he chose to leave out of that post.

Not true! You go around voting and accusing anyone in range, the only thing similar to you could be my lack of commitment, a bit intended and a bit of pure laziness on my part! ;)
