it's probably going to be one of those licentia proeliator guys (which is mooks), or tolg (L.C. Scipio); or one of the Corneli Scapula (I don't know the plural for "Cornelius Scapula") if you count them having served two battles before navarro changed the ranks of everybody.

Mini and Bean (well, and me, but I only contributed one post to the discussion) already talked about changing their name and all that, and we came to the conclusion that it was not a feasible idea. I would personally never remember to call them "the defeated ones" and would just call them Epeiros, and then I would get punished just because of a small thing like that. Next time I wanted to address them, I would do it again, and I would get yet another punishment for that, and so on. New guys who don't know about this would also be punished for such a small thing.Quote:

It probably won't be of much use to you for this PBM, it deals mainly with the Principate and what it does have for the Republic era isn't in depth and is unlikely to teach you anything you don't already know. It's still a very interesting book though, read it in one sittting! :laugh4:Quote:
