Re: The fight for Inishmore (IN PLAY)
Vote Beefy. If he wants to die, who am I to argue?
...Well I think I'm as good as dead now...meh.

This way we can easily figure out who the God Father is thus why I asked that question.
Fair enough. Thank you.
That's all I wanted folks. That was a blip on the radar, but I still say Beefy is a bad lynch choice.

I'd like Beefy to answer my question.
So if the write up shows that players gets attacked but survive the chance are that his the God Father or that the doctar got to him, so we can lynch that player.
If I'm the God Father or a grunt I would already know this. But hey its yet another WIFOM.

No you wouldn't. The mafia themselves dont know.
Secrets within secrets.
(as for that though, the GF will die.)

Only 2 of your 9 posts have occurred since actual play began. One informing us you read the opening post and the other saying there's been a lot of blather going on. The last one IS a fair comment, but this is shaping up into another lurk -- and I will not have it.

So is this vote based off the fact that you think he's potentially mafia, or just because you want his style in general to change?

Re: The fight for Inishmore (IN PLAY)
hey..... stop picking on me, nearly everyone (that played chicago and God father) knows that i find it more comfortable to play when there's less people. there's usually too much reading in the first 1/2 of the game. i try to keep up, and post when i can
i'm also trying to organise and host my first game... which is taking a lot of my time. fancy joining? :beam:

Re: The fight for Inishmore (IN PLAY)
I hear I am tied with beefy to be lynched, I would rather not be lynched. So
Vote: Beefy
-
Re: The fight for Inishmore (IN PLAY)
Any defense? Both Beefy and ATPG have sorta lifted the guilt, but this raises more suspicion than anything.
Vote: Ptolemists at least until he gives us more reason to not lynch him

Its still a tie, you guys. I'm just making sure that Ptolemists won't slip by without an explanation.

Re: The fight for Inishmore (IN PLAY)
Ok shows up at the last minute and votes for beefy as a self preservation vote.
There's a reason I'm not changing my vote.

There are some rare cases I agree with allowing yourself to be lynched, but, mostly it's a bad move.
And those rare cases I refer to, are all the times I've capped myself. :laugh4:

Re: The fight for Inishmore (IN PLAY)
After a long hard day in town, with much mindless chattering, but a lot less than expected, a name was put forward. Beefy187 had been chosen to be killed.
The method? Drinking.
A bulky man called Jai sat down at the bar next to Beefy and began egging him on to drink.
"Drink Beefy! Drink! Vodka is great! SKULL SKULL SKULL."
pevergreen saw what was happening and was amused. However, he couldn't leave his friend Beefy all alone.
"come on mate, lets get you into a bed."
So the great friend pevergreen took Beefy back to his house and made sure he was ok. As pevergreen walked upstairs to get a bed ready, Beefy died from alcohol poisoning.
A true story, except Beefy lived and we cooked lunch for my family.

Re: The fight for Inishmore (IN PLAY)
so what was he? a townie?
-
Re: The fight for Inishmore (IN PLAY)
He didn't have an alternate name from the play itself, and so therefore was neither mafia nor one of the pro-town roles. Basic townie I'd expect.

Correct, names are there for all non basic-townie roles.
They will be used if the person kills, if the person dies or if the person is lynched.

You seem dead sure I am a better lynch this round, even after I basically handed the town my head. After 3 games in a row of killing myself as a townie, you still insist that suicidal behavior makes me a good lynch.
If Reenk Roink gets a pass on his Reenkosity, I should be afforded the chance to play the game as I see fit, as a valid strategy. I hate dead certainty coming from a player on round one, when we are all supposedly in the dark.
FoS: Sasaki.
So you are complaining because you acted suicidal and got lynched 3 games in a row? You wanted to get lynched and town obliged and now you are complaining?

Re: The fight for Inishmore (IN PLAY)
I still can't believe I'm the only one to have spotted the fairly obvious danger of the Gaelic Cowboy. He may not be making bombs in his basement.. but if he is.. and you're buying them from him, I'd be a little bit concerned for my own safety if I was you.. and if you're getting him in to do a loft extension...well - the less said the better.
-

TBH just going on names he's probably the one thats most obviously townie... alot of the rest of the names are english or foriegn... at least gaelic actually sounds like he should be living in ireland...
Though being the most irish i guess you could say he's the most likely to be a republican..

Re: The fight for Inishmore (IN PLAY)
I was only joking. Assuming Gaelic Cowboy doesn't kill me, my votes now will be down to evidence rather than blind prejudice. Just don't get him to fit you a new boiler.
