This Mod looks fantstic.Is it finished and if so where can i download it ?
Would it overwrite RTW & RTW/BI Or can it be run seperately.Ive Re-named the East Romans The Byzantine Empire on BI by the way.

Thanks for the compliments. At the moment we are working on early period. We will be releasing that hopefully during the middle of this year (hopefully). After that, high and late era will come after.


But again, we are in serious need of both coders and modellers.:help:

Yeah, we need:

-2 coders(for basic coding and stuff)
-1 modeller
-1 scripter(for the scripted events, and special features)

If we can have these guys, we can complete the team and work at 101%, full power and steam ahead! ~D

Plus, I think in this weekend or next week, the first faction preview will be out. ~:)
And also, a special update but later on. ~D

Why has it gone quiet?!

Anyways, this has been the most active week in the history of Byzantium TW.

Annonymus was the secretary of King Bella, he's magyar. Alll medieval history is written as a tale. That's why we call them chroniclers. The Gesta is the only historical work that brings light to the obscure 1000's. For magyars to challange that is like greeks to challange Herodotus or Plutarch.
The Gesta is the only magyar piece of historical info from this period. Stop covering real documents that aren't pleasant to you just because they are.

They are authentic vlah princes, historical research proves it. The magyars conquered those Voievodes through force ( Duke Gelu's Voievodate) and some through the power of persuasion ( like Menumorut's Voievodate).
I would say that Mathias Corvin is half-romanian. Many romanian nobles after the magyar conquest adopted the Catholic religion and embraced Hungarian names.
Transylvannia was an organized vlah region by the time of the Magyar Conquest.

I can do other coding as well, but I'm wondering what type of coding you need. If you tell me I can help you if you need.

Well, here's what we need on coding:

-traits and ancillaries
-unit implementing(that can be fixed anyways)
-scripting(that's more advanced, we need to find a scripter for that)

We need very much a scripter to test our ideas.

I'll PM you in the ImperiumTW forum about this. I should be able to help with most of it.

I heard many pros and contras about Anonymous. I will use e.g. this Menumorutu guy in AOVAF btw. Why not?
I didnt know in the Romanian history Transylvania is conquered only in ~1100 by the Magyars. Thats why I didnt understand edyz in the Transylvanian issue.

Also I didnt know the dako-romanian theory is only one of the many theories of the Romanian genesis.
But very interesting it is accepted only by Romanian historians. (I refer here to the area continuity.) Let me know if not.

I could debate but what for? I know the project leader is Romanian therefore the mod will use the official Romanian theories. It worth much more for me if I :juggle2: and you :book: more even you deny the contents. I did it too.

Csatadi, ethincities aren't an issue here. Even if the Project Leader was hungarian ( Eg: Forgus ) the Gesta would still be taken into consideration. You say that we should ignore Annonymus just because he's a chronicler. Yet all medieval historians are chroniclers. Even you hungarians rely on chroniclers to construct YOUR history.
Here are the facts : 1. The huns left Pannonia after the death of Attila.
2. The weak avar tribes forged a new Khanate in Pannonia
3. Pressed by the pechenegs the hungarians arrived in Atelquz ( Bugeac steppes and later arrived in Pannonia through Galitia)
4. The hungarians quickly subdued the avar tribes of Pannonia ( Charlamagne shattered the khanate before the magyars arrived there)
5. After expanding in the south ( Croatia) and north the hungarians under the Arpad Dinasty slowly fought their way in Transylvannia ( Ardeal ~ Erdely).
