Kill 'em? That would mean end of the Samnite reporting the war? Because if he was succesfull he would flee and not see battles anymore, and if he was not... well then he wouldn't see anything anymore I'd suppose. Unless the gods want him to live a little longer, or the religious nutter is convinced of that. Quite possible of course... :idea2:

This may seem a bit off topic but since i was using CA's houserules and basically doing a similar campaign i decided to post that its 248 b.c. and the Roman Republic has just suffered the greatest defeat known to our historians since the Battle of Allia. I'm going to post it in a new topic rather then take up all your space here with screen shots, but it was CRAZY stuff.

I voted for Fravcvs' death. I don't see why Spurius should reveal it to him instead of killing him. It doesn't even have to be because the Gaul wishes so. Being Fravcvs and being responsible for the defeat should be reason enough for Spurius...

Little bit of a difficult decision. Fravcvs does not deserve to command the 3rd, and death is a good a means as any to get rid of him. However, I'd rather not see Vibivs kill him because it is simply the wish of Darnos. Though I have a harder time seeing Vibivs telling Fravcvs about the plot. Plus Fravcvs would probably have Vibivs killed for initially agreeing to the plot or just being a Samnite. Hmm...

Your most recent update was one of the best yet, CA!:2thumbsup: I voted for Fravcvs to die because that's probably what Postvmivs's brother (presumably a normal, Roman-hating Samnite) would write back. Plus, it will make the story much more interesting that way.
an interesting way to kill Fravcvs would be at the start of the battle have every unit retreat except for his bodyguard.:evil: Then you could have Spvrivs transfered to the next commanders bodyguard. you could even tie in a bribe story of paying the enemy to kill Fravcvs.:evilgrin:

But... :idea2: Suppose he'd become completely obsessed with the idea that he, and he alone (well, plus his bodyguard) must face the enemy and rout them? Weird things happen, if you have to get rid of an incompetent fool, almost dictating the course of your story... :wink:

Hiya i've just read the whole AAR and it's brillent you've heard it before so i'll save you the tedium and just say Great Job it had me hooked and i'm hard to please :2thumbsup:.
I was contimplating doing a Romani AAR as my first EB campaign and reading this i deffinatly want to :P so again well done.
P.S. Death to the stupid Fravcvs i'm forgiving but a General who's so Religious AND stupid well just needs to die :smash:

I could try, but you shouldn't expect too much. Just a kind of beginning, for a more experienced guy to come up and do it.
I'll see what I can do on tuesday, and then PM it to whoever wants it.

I have simply stopped playing EB altogether, the last time I touched it was two weeks ago. I do however plan on starting a new campaign some time, and will do an AAR on that one! Perhaps it will be with a similar idea, in fact it will almost certainly follow a single army.
I am so sorry guys, but I appreciate that you guys stuck iwth me the whole time, and made this the second most viewed thread in the entire Gameplay Guide section! Do not gve up hope, I will be back and I am determined to get an AAR through. This was only my first, but I know it will not be my last!
EDIT: NEVERMIND I HAVE DECIDED TO CONTINUE RUNNING THE AAR!
