What do you fellas think the optimal strategy for the town and mafia would be in this game? Let's say 3 mafia, 14 townies, everything else about the game is the same.

Here's my thoughts:

Town: Lynch blindly, try to keep scanning townies at night and keep an unbroken chain (basically what ATPG said).

Mafia: Try to get the shirt, then ??

Maybe as a balancing mechanism, you can't give the shirt to someone who was just scanned. Or something.

That would drastically alter gameplay;

Either would make a fun game but I like the dynamic of attempting to make a chain, and also, scumbags clearing each other and giving each other the shirt.

With more scumbags it would be a real challenge.
