Re: Star Wars: Fall of the Order [in play]
Someone tell me when this game is over and Sith Lord is killed if I don't get to check the thread that much. Kill Chaotix.

So far I have the following people as unlikely to be the Sith Lord, in rough order of certainty:
Chaotix -- attacked Beskar, etc
Diamondeye -- presumably attacked by Sith last night, frequent vig, bad investigations
me, Psychonaut -- present in vig attacks when the Sith Lord was busy
Diana Abnoba -- bad investigations
Seon -- looked weak when attacked (he told me who he is)
Khazaar claims attacks, but I don't know who attacked him.
And Csargo, Nightbringer, Double A, wideyedwanderer.
Please fill in the gaps and correct my bad assumptions if there are any. For now,
vote: Csargo
I completely agree with the assesment of the remaining players, except that I don't know much about Seon or Diana to make a judgement on them. I 'd like to note that Nightbringer once brought up a long case on Csargo, at one point, but then immediately switched his votes afterward. I forget if it was after Ironside's death. Whether that increases their chances of being Sith partners or not I'll leave for someone else to decide.

ATPG, thank you for that very informative publicly announcement regarding the dangers of an overloaded inbox. It has encouraged me to empty my own inbox of old messages. You should consider a career in the surgeon general's office.

I've been reporting my actions to the force ghosts.
There doesn't appear to be any case against Csargo except for that he "seems suspicious." I agree that he does, and he may be a good lynch. But with the game on the line here, I think it's important for me to share what information I have. I think Double A2 is a good lynch for the following reasons. Last night I used drain knowledge on him and I received Force Persuasion, a level IV investigation ability that senses if someone can be turned to the dark side. The whole game he has claimed to be uninterested, saying he's too busy playing video games to contribute much. He's hardly voted, yet he's been busy enough sending in night orders to acquire a level IV investigation ability. Something doesn't seem to add up here.
Unvote, Vote: Double A2.

Re: Star Wars: Fall of the Order [in play]
Csargo has a way of lurking to victory using short comedic posts. I think he is a pretty good lynch choice at this point.

I believe that's a Grandmaster level ability. I will check the Holocron again to see.
If it is, then it means the only possible way for him to have it is to be the Sith Master- Kagemusha mentioned something about having reached Grandmaster level himself without actually becoming it, due to being a Sith.
Unvote, Vote: Double A
Csargo still needs to watched closely. Csargo, I need you to send me your role name, lightsaber color, and previous night actions, or else you are still a prime suspect.
EDIT: It is possible that he could've stolen it from someone else. In that case you should say so, Double A.

Exactly what I meant. I actively tried to get the Sith to attack me last night so we could keep others safe, but the protection-party went awry, so it doesn't look like it helped a lot. Still, any failed Sith attack is a step in the right direction. I wonder if the Sith Lord thinks he can manage me in single combat tonight...

Hmmm - interesting, but perhaps you should have kept this to yourself and the force ghosts instead of claiming publically. I think the Force ghosts should tell us if Double A has been sharing his scan results (we don't need to know them - just to know if he's shared them), but due to him being a replacement and my results when attacking him, I deem it somewhat unlikely that he is the Sith Lord.

It was right after Ironside died that I started then left that case in the same day. My argument was that Csargo had been posting only very joke oriented comments, bandwagon votes, and questioning everything people did, helping to cause confusion. I still think this is a fair assessment of what he has done, but according to pevergreen this is basically what he always does, so I don't know if that is worth anything.

Re: Star Wars: Fall of the Order [in play]
The Holocron has no information on Investigation IV, unfortunately.
So, I can't really pursue a case on Double A right now, but he will remain under suspicion.
Unvote, Vote: Csargo
My ultimate goal is to determine who all of the Sith are in one fell swoop. I have a plan to do that tonight, but you must all follow my orders when I give them.
I will not post them until the night has started, so that the Sith have no time to prepare. Rest assured it will be much more effective than last night was.

I think we've been over this before. As odd as it seems, Investigation III is the GM-only ability and Investigation IV is just another random tier.

I seem to remember Tincow1 suffering a bit because of a misinterpretation from that skill. :juggle2:

Heh, my initial thought when I was asked to be a replacement was that I was going to have the dubious honor of getting lynched twice in a single game.

All living players should have corrected and updated role PMs.
If you spot an error, or did not get one, PM me.

The difference here is that your case against Csargo is nothing more than conjecture, while there is a somewhat stronger (though admittedly non-conclusive) case against Double A.

I very much wanted to keep this information private (between myself and the force ghosts), and that was what I was originally doing, but I feel we have little time to waste, and the responses I received from the force ghosts were indifferent (pever seems to have given up completely), so I felt it was important to make this information public before we run out of time.

I must continue to encourage the case against Double A. It seems rather suspicious that the holocron doesn't have any information on this ability, doesn't it?

A random tier? For a level IV ability? How does that make sense at all?

By random I meant an ability that was available to all players, given sufficient time and luck. Random as in 'like all the others.' In any case, as I understand it the various investigations aren't more powerful than one another, they just all give different information.

Re: Star Wars: Fall of the Order [in play]
I would also like to ask, what do we know about khazaar, he has been laying very low lately, and i have always been suspicious of him. Pevergreen, I ask again, did you get any investigation results from anyone about him? You asked people to check him out...

I've reported every night action I've ever made to pever and Beefy. I've only had night abilities since after I became a master, though, so there aren't many reports. And no, I haven't tried to vig anyone. I wouldn't know who to target even if I wanted to attack someone (well, until recently, anyway).

I haven't only been playing video games. In all seriousness, I have read every single PM ATPG has sent me this entire game. I've turned invisibility mode off so you guys don't think all I'm doing is lurking or not being on (wish I did it sooner). Uninterested and busy aren't mutually exclusive, just so you know.

I got it normally (and randomly). I only had the opportunity to use it once before WEW stole it, though.

Like I said, I've reported all my actions to pever and Beefy. You can confirm it with them if you want, but I'm just saying it now so you aren't surprised or anything.

I've seen the Tier III comments, pever, they just don't make sense. Why would the super ultra amazing grand master ability be on a lower tier than an ability available to all masters?

I feel compassion on this plight, so i will grace you with an answer.
Because when ATPG was doing it, the normal investigations (1, 2 and 3) was it. Then he added another one, but not from the same tree. However, to make it easier, he attached it on the end.
Its like if you had force push 1 2 and 3, with 3 being GM only, but then ATPG tacks on force pull as force push 4. Its sort of related, but not in the same tree, just is named like that.
(I asked him myself a few days ago)

I haven't won it yet, of course, pevergreen. You were helpful for knowing who Zan Finnay was, I'll give you that. Mostly it was me and Ignoramus doing the dirty work this whole time. :clown:
And I did find the Investigation IV in the holocron; it's called Force Persuasion, which threw me off. Determines if one is susceptible to the Dark Side (not including Mind Control). It's actually kinda useless now since we have no Dark Jedi (besides me, but my case is different) and therefore nobody will show up as susceptible. And it's not GM exclusive. All as you claimed.
