Hi, and thanks for the welcome message. I have played every Total War game since the original Shogun, but have not played for a couple of years or so. My son got me Shogun 2 for Christmas, and I recently attempted it with below average results. I found this site and read some of the guides, which were very helpful. I joined for some interesting discussion.

Heya, I just joined, yet I have been playing M2TW and RTW for quite a few years. Empire was the last 'new' game I played, never got really into it and now don't have a decent gaming pc anymore, playing battles on low settings on M2TW is about te most I can get out of it. Life is expensive enough as a student zo I'll stick to the golden oldies for now :)

I hear you regarding your PC not being up to snuff. I had an old PC when M2TW and ETW came out, so gave them a skip. I had a new PC for TWS2 so I picked it up from there. However, recently I've been feeling nostalgic and got M2TW and ETW/NTW at great prices so I plan to start playing them at some point in the near future. Hang in there. One of these (post-student) days I'm sure a new hot rod of a PC will be in your life. :thumbsup:
