Also, seems like there is a need for some advice to town doctors at this point, who we're going to have to rely on as many original detectives/FBI are dead or really bad. So really, doctors: don't protect someone else who is not also a town doctor. It's gotta be either that or in an obvious exceptional circumstance something like a Rogue Detective who has been following your kill orders. If you haven't already, find and protect anther doctor - works in groups of two or three where you protect each other back.
I know it's tempting to try and protect "someone who is likely to be attacked" just to hope to get more credit (say for Surgeon) but it's too dangerous and can be a counterproductive waste of effort. Townies still trying to make it to doctor can pick up slack there if possible. Worst case, random wiseguy you didn't protect gets killed to help other gangsters move up their own ranks; quite possibly we see gangsters killing each other anyway when they run out of inactives to level up on or need to defeat another family. You don't want to protect a scum from getting killed by another scum. Meanwhile, you doctors can't be killed and it's an incentive for the wiseguys without any connections or hope of making it into the winning family to get onboard with the town.
Reidquat isn't even my mafia lawyer, it's Sasaki. Sheesh.
Also one thing I just remembered I was here to point out. The attack on DrunkClown seems purposefully written up by a Clint Eastwood/Gran Turino fan. There is an outside change the lighters (also in Diamondeye's writeup) are indicative of some other role that the attackees share, so the movie reference would be coincidence or maybe done by the GMs and not the mafia doing the attack - but if that is the case then that's a lead, works either way.
Actually, attackers can add things to the writeup at will, hence the appearance of the umbrella in the J.D. kill.
I wasn't affiliated yet (still not) but I was able to put stuff in the writeup. Therefore following anything but the official mafia calling cards is a useless effort.
Not to mention the entire neutral avenger kills were written entirely by myself; there's no greater example of why looking for other clues in the writeups is fruitless. The Corleones did the fake Soviet writeups, those are different from other writeups, but the same Seward's Folly card is present for the sanctioned hits.

If you fear the lawyer that much, lynch one of the other scum above, but trusting Captain Blackadder because he's Director (replacing GH who was QUICKLY losing support). Taking out Riedquat might just be another mafia ploy. If whoever we lynch today doesn't pan out, lynch him tomorrow.
We have to know the full power of this so called "lawyer" before we got and make any assumptions about it. Just lynch ATPG and let's see where the chips fall?

I'm rather curious to know how General Blackadderchief "deduced" who the lawyer was.
That would require inside information. I find it quite unlikely that any mafia family would turn over such a name, given what a lawyer could do for the mafia.
As such, I can only conclude that Riedquat is being thrown under the bus for another purpose, and I highly doubt he's the lawyer you're looking for.

Look at Peasant Phill. I don't buy for one second that he's innocent, especially if his detective result says "innocent".
If he flips innocent, scan him again. Keep scanning him until you get role penetration and who he killed with.
My wager is he's the final Don that eludes me.
If he doesn't flip innocent, keep scanning him; Dons have the ability to evade and confuse scans temporarily. My hunch is strong enough that I'm willing to waste your investigations. It's a risk I'm willing to take. You're welcome.
Oh, and for the whole "why trust ATPG" on this matter?
Live a little, take a chance from an unreliable source. Or, consider the fact that I can account for the whereabouts of 90% of Fatlington on any given night.
