1.1 Savegame Thread

In past versions this has been fun so I will try to get it started again. Post savegames with situations that you find to be interesting/challenging so other can try it out. Be sure to include if your game is modded and the difficulty settings.

Sure I got one.


RTW 1.5(works for BI too) with no mods except for force Diplomacy and EDU stuff.

I'll post it when I finish my Invasion of Ionia

Its only 260 BCE but its at the point where you have choices.

Where's a reliable place to upload them, that doesn't corrupt the files? I've tried FileFront, but they never actually work when anyone tries to use them.

Hellas is currently fairly well off, all cities have atleast the first level of barracks and a Garrison of 2 Hoplitai Haploi and 1 unit of Akonistai.
A
Sparta and Athens have highest barracks level, including spartans and Epilektoi(BTW Lonchophoroi are awesome)

Territories include-

Southern Greece(Athens Chalkis Sparta Korinth)
Middle Greece(Pella Byzantion Demetrias ThermonT
Anatolia(Sardis Nikaia Pergamon Halikarnassos Rhodos(and some other settlement..)
The national army is located currently in Anatolia, en route to Athens to retrain, eventually to attack Bosophoros(for me)
It is composed of...

4-Theurophoroi
4-Thorakitai Theurophoroi
3-Epilektoi Hoplitai
1-Epilektoi Stategou(general)
3-Akonistai
2-Lonchophoroi
2-Illryian Hippies
2-Cretan Archers
They all have 2 chervons or more(Lonchophoroi have silver chervons)

Enemies-Sarmatia, Arche Seleukia
Allies-Ptolemic Empire Epeiros
Hostiles-Pontos
Destroyed-Macedon

Economy-About 10000 minai per turn, a bit low, but its sure to be more soon.
Capital-Athens.
Most devoloped city-Athens

Navy-3 experienced Penekonteres 1 new Lemboi(I was going to put a Diplomat in it headed for Rome)
Take note that I halved all prices for Boats, you might want to do the same or just disband the fleet(which would be a shame for such an experienced fleet).

Here's mine on H/M, Huge unit size, at I think 250BC. It was for RTW 1.5, but as I've discovered it doesn't actually make any difference whether it's for RTW or BI.

I've got the sprites and character traits fixes in, but not the UnitSize one. I'm using Force Diplomacy and Darth Stalin's Roman skins. I've also tweaked the EDU so that Polybian triarii are half the size and cost, but I doubt it matters.

All that said, every time I've uploaded a save it hasn't worked.

I have a decent Epierote campaign where I've captured all of Hellas, Crete, Rhodes, and I have an army en route to capture northern Greece to secure the border with the Getai by taking the natural border of the Danube. I'm just not sure how to upload it.

Go to www.axifile.com, there is a upload option, select the file, select upload, wait until it generates to download link for you, post that link on the forum and copy the "personal link" somewhere so that you can check form time to time how many people already uses your save-game.:2thumbsup:

Just quietly i downloaded and tried your savegame from another thread and it worked fine for me, and i have no other mods or fixes etc, but im using bi.exe

I have a H/M Romani save that I haven't expanded much in. I think I'm in about 253BC. I am using MarcusAureliusAntonius' city mod and the force diplomacy mod.

I have conquered all of Italia. I'm in the process of conquering Sicily, I still need to conquer Lilibeo and Syracousai.

Ok hey i tryed your save games and since i have RTW 1.5 i had to delete the map.rwm file but when i do that the game will load in all but the campaign mini map, the continetns are all gray im not sure what went wrong but i take it you were kinda cheating, am i wrong?...due to the number of troops you had stranded everywhere it just didnt seem right that it was a normal game.....also does someone have a good Romani save game i tryed the ones above but i was wondering if someone had another that i could try out

- Bratosporios, Lemonum, Avaricum, Bibracte, (Vesontio, Gergovia, Viennos) are under Arverni control.

- A positive income and a small, positive treasury.

- The main army, which also happens to be the only army able to go on offense, is stationed just outside the Belgae allied settlement of Bratosporios.

- A small Aedui stack between Bibracte and Viennos, seemingly heading towards the former.
