Another old hand here, been under several names. Altho I love the series STW i still love the best. So are people mostly playing the original STW or the mods for later games?
Thx

Hey Dimolas, welcome back! I hope you are still creating that fantastic artwork. Last time I checked your website it was gone. ~:mecry: The Samurai Warlords mod for MTW/VI seems to generate a lot of interest. I gave it a shot but ran into performance issues (MTW/VI issues, not mod issues). So I've gone back to messing with STW as time permits.
I have yet to try the Samurai Warlords mod, but I've been switching between the games a bit. A shame my laptop overheats so quickly these days..
Hello Dimeolas.
Hi Dimeolas. Nice to see you here. How's the fabulous art work coming?
Most STW MP players are playing a MTW1 mod called Samurai Warlords Beta 5, Sat and Sun, 2 PM EST. Not much else going on in the older (better ~;)) world of TW MP. People are still playing STW SP though. We get a good number of visits here still.
Thank you my friend. The website went away when the webhosts moved servers, their service went to crap, and they gained attitude. have a myspace with dimeolas name but am redoing pics section. Just d/l`d some wonderfull Japanese arch so look for good things. Will see if my old stw will work.
Would love to see a new game with expanded map and times per year. Where instead of winning a battle or seige takes a big province you have to take several smaller subprovinces or castles and then take the major objective. I crave a bigger and more involved treatment. How would you like to play as one of the temples? Man I can dream......
Glad you are still around. Who knows best the engine? Who would be best to ask questions of about modding any of the engines?
I had played it and it is excellent. I just really crave a new game. I think they should have done a newer revised stw ratrher than moving on to Napoleonics.
Thank you, just installing a new pc and going into...kicking and screaming creating meshes and textures.
:)
Hey, there's a name I haven't seen in ages. Welcome back Dimeolas!
hey Monk! Good to see ya. As time permits this week i`ll upload a few pics, you guys might find them interesting. So how ya doin?
Good, seeing green a lot lately. :laugh4:
You could say I've not changed much, I still spend most of my time in the Mead Hall as I did way back. Which reminds me; i've still got to update the Library... Bah... must procrastinate more!
Beautiful as alway Dimeolas.

Pardon the size but this makes a nice desktop.
What I've always liked about your artwork Dimeolas is the emotion and/or sense of place (and longing to be there) conveyed in them. The fog picture is one of them. Nice touch with the hawks/eagles in the sky - missed them at first. :2thumbsup:
I agree with Gregoshi. Beautiful work ~:)

Yea I know, yet still somehow I like this one.
The rendition of the colours is excellent ~:)
Since I'm a complete and utter ignoramus when it comes to such things, I'm forced to ask: Are those actual paintings, Dimeolas? Or do you use some sort of software/program to make these?
I use software. this one was Bryce, a 3D hobbyist program. Also use Carrara, hexagon, Poser and Photoshop. Has a few ideas on doing japanese inkbrush style using poser and photoshop. When I get time to work on it will share.
:)
