Would anybody like to play in a new InterActive History?
I would
:inquisitive:
Umm... Sure, what's it about?
Yup!
Gimme.
I would!
maybe
For you Franconicus? Anything.
Just as long as it involves
A. Good plot line
2. Unique Setting
3a. Something involving war
Well...I came up with an idea tho I'm not gonna play as I do not have the time to but I just finished reading Sea of Faith and I thought that the Crusading period(s) would be a good setting.
You've got the Byzantines, the Seljuk Turks, Knights Templar, the Hospitalers, and many other oddities and characters that populate that time period.
I'm reading Dreadnought, Castles of Steel, and How Few Remain (yea, I am), and I'd prefer a late 19th century piece. I'd like something that involves the British Empire or Ottoman Empire.

That's exactly an IH setting I've been waiting for since I got here, this is one of the greatest time periods IMO.Quote:

The crusader period sounds very interesting. I just read finished reading the wikipedia article about the crusades. (Yes I randomly read wiki articles.)
Caius told me he wants to play.
In, how about ancient Greek city states?
if there are two popular time periods and Franconius wil be hosting one I'll start another up in July of the other period, maybe Greek Cities.
I rather liked the crusader idea, I'm up for it
I'm in if it's a 'classical' IH. Just one role, not all against each other. I've got little time as it is butI know you can write a good one, Franc.
Im in.. single player IH are best.. like Sengoku :)
or something different and do pairs per faction :)
Crusader or Greek city states
Crusader sounds better to me.
Count me in, if it's something interesting. Crusades/ancient, single/multi... It doesn't matter...
I am keen for one!
Been so bleedin long since I have had a good one...
I'm in are you thinking of a single or multi?
Throw me in, and why not make it something more modern? Something with gunpowder would be interesting.
Gentlemen,
let`s raise the banners and gather all those who want to play a new InterActive.:surrender2:
This one is going to combine elements from the successful ones of my friends Legio and Kagemusha. Yet, it will not be just a transfer into another age and area.
First of all, there will not be one story writer, but two. I am glad that King Kurt will steer it with me and compensate my lack of knowledge.
The game will be round based like the others. There will be 5 to 8 playable factions. There will be competition on tall fields of diplomacy, including military, economy, technology and maybe even culture and religion. It is up to you where the focus will be.
There will be a goal: to increase happiness of your people, starting at 100%. (Which may be easier if you play a nation that is very unhappy in the beginning).
Of course you can also loose. You can drop out of the game by loosing your title or even your life.
Each turn stands for a period of about 2.5 years.
I would like to have a fast game. I hope we can keep a 1+1 week period – one week for the players, one week for the writers. So the diplomacy must work on a very high speed.
The game will start in May. The starting year will be 2008.
This time we are not rewriting history – this time we are making history!
If you want to join, please PM me with your wishes, your skills (military, economy, technology etc.) and the time you will be able to invest.
See you in the future!!:7fortuneteller: ~;)
When do we PM?
now!:charge:
skills means: where are your strengths / interests?Quote:

It will effect, what country you may get.
What about if you have no skills...? :sweatdrop:
Ivory Coast :no:Quote:

I'm kind of curious as of how is this going to work...
There are already more candidates than roles.
I am going to send proposals to the chosen ones. If you agree, please return some details about your characters; just two or three for example:
the US president - Republican party, main topics during the election campaign: increase of the army and decrease of taxes.
I hope we can start with the game next week.
Those who do not get a chance now, do not worry. There are three options to enter the game:
1) You can be an agent of a player
2) If the game runs good, I may increase the number of players
3) You can wait for the first player to fail. He will be replaced immediately :shocked2:
:sweatdrop:
My, this will be interesting...
You got Ivory Coast, right? :inquisitive::laugh4:Quote:

I'd be interested in trying out an IH sometime, although it appears I'm too late for this one. :help:
It is never too late. The future is a very tiugh century, indeed, and I guess the first players will drop out, soon.
Is there a list I can go on in case of player drop out or new country added?

There is no list. As soon as there is a new position, I will post it and the first reply will get it
In that case I better stay out. I remember a succession pbm doing that a while back. It looked very frustrating. :clown:
