I know this is asking alot but can we have a sub forum for EB MP as it seemed to do well when it was done on RTR 6.0 forum and you could build up a community of players and compeat againest each other were as now there isn't really one and it putting down the MP side of this mod
or at least think about it if we get enogh people wanting the sub forum

Just warning you beforehand that it isn't up to us to decide that. Ultimately it's mostly up to the forum thechnical staff - they are the ones who need to maintain it after all... :juggle:

I think you should start gathering "signatures" if enough people show support we can see about asking the "powers that be" (anyone remember Afterlife?) about granting the request.
You can just have a dedicated thread or 2 in the gameplay guides section if there's only a few active multiplayer players though...

Well, I made a thread about meataxes and multiplayer, which was as could be expected, totally ignored.
But then, that is because I am an English Puss Ass, (EPA), - to quote from one of my numerous fans.
In any case, I am completely in support of Multiplayer, and would love to see a 4v4 game in EB.
As for a sub-forum - has anyone applied at the Watchtower?

Why not take a picture of two player armies fighting, and scroll; EB Multiplayer Competition across it?
Of course, we can't do much until we have the best advertisment of all - a new sub-forum.
The main problem is people who want to play EB will download Hamachi and X-Fire, not knowing really how to use the former properly.
Then they will find every Hamachi server full - and most of the X-Fire names completely inactive - provided they choose any who are active.
Seeing no more threads, they will simply give up.
maybe we should make a chain of hamachi server to join like ten and tell them where they should put there name to play on hamachi might be kind of hard though

I think that is perfect, aside from the fact the letters should be imposed rather than in a white box.

Simply make the letters smaller, and keep it short - advertise EB Multiplayer alone.

EB Moderators are the only authority we require on creating a sub-forum.
Read Tosa-Inu's response to my petition in the Watchtower.
We only have to convince the Mods here, not anywhere else as Athenaios would have us believe.
Unless we are simply being played back and forth.
well we've got 10 people +me out of 14 people that have read the PMs with still 39 to read them trying to get the RTR MP people to get into EB MP to that the lastest new for the partion for the sub forum

Thank you for your support Lovejoy, the hope is for a sub-forum to roll the community forward, as it currently has no base in multiplayer.

Just dropping in here I didn't have much opinion, although we have really tried to limit the number of subfora (for example an AAR only forum is much more deserving in my opinion, but we have tried to keep from doing that too). But seeing the, as has been accurately described, implications of duplicity of the team and uncalled for responses to team members' posts here, I personally am much less inclined to give this any further thought. As khelvan said a long time ago, we are only human - if you want us to think about a change or doing something, it's generally not a good idea to badmouth us while doing it.

but first has any one got a good way of judging the compertion fairly and flexiable bean (RTR fan jump for joy:laugh4:) can up with the idea of everyone fight each other and the person that wins the most wins the tornament this is probly the best way to get people into it but not for judging the champion as the person that on it will most likey win and there are people that will never see each other
so what if we do a regional time line compertion where you play people from you're time line say GMT 0 to +8hour and then do three groups this way and send the winners though to play each other or the modders if there up for it play them?

Hmmm...Honestly, I've never played in an online tournament so I do not have any experience in judging/participating in them.
We could wait until the final call is made about the MP forum. If its a go, then everyone interested in joining the tournament can post there and state their country/time zone or something. People in those timezones can get together perhaps? Just an idea. I really do not know :confused:

With regards to the EB subforum.... I gotta side with the EB team here. Lets be honest fellas, MP is in its infancy and it has stayed there because a LOT of have been busy with school work. :wall:
HOWEVER, what we should do is to use the Stickied MP thread in the meantime. (I don't know if Phanrnakes is still around.... :candle: .... if he is not then we should make a new one, copy and paste the directions and names on the 1st page of that thread and put it in the new MP thread. Then have the EB mods switch the treads).
In addition, take pics of ur battles, and post them on the EB MP AAR thread And post descriptions of the battle.
Once we get a crowd going we can argue for our MP sub-forum section. :yes:

And I would be happy to see a Multiplayer forum. It would be neat to have a place to organize EB matches and such.

I think that before accusing EB members of duplicity or whatever, we could prove that we're able to organise a tournament. And maybe after that we could address a petition wich we could all sign before asking for a subforum. Like Neo said, EB MP is still in his infancy and maybe a subforum it's not the best investment at the moment. A subforum needs moderators, and organization. Plus that the EB team is busy with the future release. And plus that thay give us the best mod out there without any compensation. Plus that they're only human. Maybe we could show something first and after that, we could ask in a civilised way for a subforum. Is just an opinion.
P.S Like Neo said, a lot of us have to do work for school. For example on the 20th of may I begin my exams. After that I may leave to work on am archeological site far from any PC... If any of you have the time to organise this I will do the best I can to participate. If I can. Not to mention others that actualy work for a living. Time is the main issue for the most of us as it seems. Anyways, GL guys.

EBMP is still in it's infancy, and as Teleklos has mentioned several times elsewhere, and shown in his recent flurry of locked threads - moderating the EB forum and sub-fora is difficult enough without opening a new one which as of yet has not even proved if it can achieve success.
Therefore I very much agree with Burakuku, in that we should attempt to organise a Tournament, through a new thread perhaps, and prove to both the moderators and ourselves that this is worthwhile, and we have enough support.

I was making a thread wherein people could state their personal ideas and IDs and Standard Times strictly on the idea of a Tournament.
However, it was very long, and as I submitted the thread, my internet went down and when I clicked, "Back", it was all gone.
Which made me rather mad - but then perhaps it was the gods warning me not to be cruel or antagonising to molluscs.
Is someone else here willing to make a thread for the Tournament, shall I try again, or will we keep the discussion of it here?

If I only had the time... Anyways, I see that ppl don't seem interested in this. That's too bad. EB MP has such a potential. Fighting human players with the most historical accurate armies out there. It sucks!

looking into doing a website just for MP mods for total war as there nothing really to get people into MP mods and as the communities are all small they normal break up after a few weeks
I remember when I was in one of Bean's tournaments from RTR, I think it was the first one; but I could be wrong about that. I would be up for an EB Multiplayer tournament.
