hooah, of course its finals for many (I finished may 6)
The decrease in posts is probably partly due to the burst of activity following the v1.1 release finally fading away...
The Uni had finals last week. Of course, I audit so I didn't have to take any.:2thumbsup:
you know, there are players who finished school and a worker ant already :()
I gave my final on Monday - My 9th graders had write a brief essay on ideological conflict in the 20th century. Now its Xbox time in my classroom until Friday when school is out...! Oh you mean do people TAKE finals... Not give them... I am so old... Its hard to believe that I fought a war (chairborne), graduated from college, and started a family in this 00' decade, and yet now I am old....Oh well, at least I can buy Booze legally!
In about 10 years when I'm a doctor...then I'll give finals.:book:
Last day of finals tomorrow. Booya!
Damn it, I hate you all!:wall: I will finish on 20th of June... :book:
that's still 7 days earlier than me~:mecry:
Where you from mate?
You crazy Northern Hemisphere kids...
Finals aren't till October and November.
Kids. Haven't done an exam since 2002.

How I envy young'uns... I want finals season too. :wall: Oh wait... no never mind, AoC is launching in Europe this week, I don't want no stinking finals.
Finals? That's the moment when you have more time to waste time doing nothing, nothing and a bit less than nothing... Or play/mod EB.
27th May until 27th June.Quote:

But then again... apart from 2 very difficult exams (ruimtelijk bestuursrecht en zakenrecht, pretty much impossible to translate) for which I have very little time to learn, I completly agree with Tellos!Quote:

Go for the PHD! :beam:
16 days of classes left before finals, and counting. Damnations, I hafta work all summer...
What you did is vitally important in some respects. A lot of jobs only care that you got a good grade from a decent institution, but if you did History of Art, for example, you won't be taken all that seriously.Quote:

But most degrees aren't directly applicable to anything, unless you want to be a teacher. Unless you do want to be a teacher, don't bother with postgraduate qualifications, that's just piling even more debt on for no reward.
hmm, masters in CS + math got someone I know a 120k salary job. degrees do help, alot. there is really no need for PHD unless you wanna teach, do research etc. only exception is MBA? which you need to move up the corporate ladder right? it is useless really, but still required.
edit: having 2 related degrees will help you immensely, both in job availability + salary.
I want to teach university level history so PHD is my goal. :) At any rate history BA is a great degree, especially if you want to go on to law school. I just made myself drunk to celebrate the end of the semester and met a girl named Bella.... oooh my friends, I tell you... :beam:
Depends greatly on what field. Most of the time all a degree will do is get you your first job. After that point no one cares what your education is, it's work experience and professional qualifications that count.Quote:

First week of July, somewhere there will be my last exam before the summer break.Quote:

lolz...
Same. But I have an excuse: My degree is about constant work. If you hadn't done all the exercises and translations, forget about passing the exams.Quote:

I finished secondary school this week. (I don't want to show off, but I got best marks from all subjects, I know, I am a mug :laugh4: ) and in October - university. So now I have time to try EB 1.1
I always found that when I studied, I did worse than when I didn't. It's like I would get things switched around in my mind.Quote:

The last exam I did I had four essays to do and my arm fell off. Luckily, the university had a medical clinic so it was reattached.
