The warrior gleamed in his golden and white tabard and sword. The emblem of a dragon blazed on his chest. He turn to the short robed man next to him, "Shall we go on old friend? We've been past here before and returned. I can see the river already. Do you think that the Drawer of Nets would take us this time?"
"I presume not, we are here for reasons She would understand. She may even aid us. Have you got the coins ready?"

The warrior passed two coins the strange man in the boat.

After they were rowed over, the three of them passed down the long line of people waiting to be judged by the Drawer of Nets. The ones waiting paid no attention to theses strange men and woman.

After a long time the sight of the One who Waits came into view. The group stopped and stared in disbelief. The Goddess had left her station.

A voice lentered their minds, destroying all mental barriers in place without an effort.

"You, who have come and gone before, may know of the final challange awaiting. I have been forced to recreate the shades of ones gone past, in our final effort. You two know the dangers awaiting. I must create the aspects of all those gone. Enemies and friends will be reborn."

The voice directed itself at the robed man, "Our agreement is still in effect."

The short man bowed his head before turning to his warrior friend, "It seems the Nameless One still works. This will be the final challange."

Tomas nodded, "It's been a long time coming Pug, but I feel better for it."

Slowly they joined the group of those who had gone, many unfamiliar.

It's much like the afterlife of the Egyptians. The people that die wait to be judged by the "Drawer of Nets" or the "One who Waits" (a few of her names)

The Goddess has recreated them all as they were, so that the final battle between good and evil may happen.

Greetings all, and welcome to my largest game yet! Over 50 named roles have been created, in conjuction with the most in depth duel/fight system to grace the presence of the Gameroom.

Specific rules etc will be posted in time (As I have an exam in 20 minutes), but upon the command of Seamus, sign-ups are beginning now!

Rules:

Characters:
In the character description, you will be told your name, World of Birth, your backstory, your abilities and your fighting score. You will also be given names of other players/NPC's who your character knows, as well as what about them.
Fighting:
This will be conducted during the day phase, akin to the Midgard Saga. At this time, it is not finalised how the fight will be chosen. Factors in the fighting system include: previous encounters (like the bonus from winning in a Holmgang and/or events that have happened) fighting styles (like Kung Fu Mafia) weapons, individual character bonuses against others, special abilities, outside interference and of course a random factor.
In Game Questions:
As to write a description of depth for each characters knowledge of every other character they have met, only a few names will be given, but if you send me a PM like so:

You must have the persons name and the actual players name included. Other information can be gathered this way as well, such as things you see and hear etc

I am presuming that a kind of plot summary of this would make sense, but that will come with your characters. The characters mentioned in the story may be known to some but exactly who they are and what they want is unclear. In terms of gameplay, each role PM will have what "team" or "faction" you belong to, as well as your victory conditions, which may change.

As of course, there are secrets, suprises and secret surprises, which are sprung after the other two. This game borrows (to my shame :shame:) a little bit from many games, so you may encounter things alike to any games known previously, and plenty not seen...

so every character has some kind of ability? i hate it when theres only about 6 or 7 players with ability and the rest are nigh invisable and pointless, but this looks fun

After Kung Fu Mafia 2, if Sasaki hosts it. I would say a month, maybe a bit more, maybe a bit less.

@Aries: Yes every character has abilities. Most have more than one.

Count me in then, with the proviso that I will not be available to play until about October 3rd-4th. If the game starts before then, I can't join.

I will regretfully have to withdraw from participation. I am going to be very busy over the next 2 months and I will not be able to give this game the attention it deserves. I would prefer to sit this out than play poorly, out of respect for the host.
