Obviously, making so much money betting against the mob has caused you some trouble... in the form of bullets flying at your head. Somehow, luck has been on your side. Not only will you be more likely to locate special items just from sheer dumb luck, you will also have a better chance of deflecting mortal blows or missing them entirely.
Your personal survival is your objective, but this is a team game. The more townies survive, the better your overall score. However, your personal score drops when you die. Your best bet after that, if you become a zombie, is to go for a zombie victory and hope for the best.

There are only a few viable paths out of town, and they are hidden. There are locked doors, barricades in your way, and you'll need a certain key if you wish to escape the main way. There's also plenty of zombies, serial killers, plague demons, and murderous agents around town.
