Im pretty new here, so mod please let me know if Im not allowed to host a game... or when Im allowed or whatever.
But yeah this will be my first so its gonna be rather small... Id say somewhere around ten players would be fine....
The details of the game will remain unknown till I want you all to know.... And my intro writeup is in the works and Ill post it here soon, just wanted to start the thread to gather interest and see if Im actually allowed lol.
So as I said I inexperienced so this whole game could suck lol just warning you guys, I think it could be pretty cool but Im damn sure I havent thought of everything since its my first time...
So what is this game your asking?
Well its not a mafia game, its more of a survival game like the mansion, there are phases etc but not really any roles etc... There will be puzzles etc to solve and things to work out, so working as a team would help, but you dont have to....
So if your interested please post here to let me know, I could probably start this pretty soon if there interest.... Its quite simple so dont expect the calibar of game that someone like ATPG or Zain can put out... Cause Im new lol so give me a break....

- Anything goes.... You can talk to each other through the intercom if you are not in the same room, so posting in here is fine.
- Each phase is like maybe 10 minutes in game time (this doesnt really matter) however I will give you guys a full day to discuss between each phases.
- You each have a vitality of 4... When that gets to zero you die... One point, there is no monsters hunting you or anything.
- At the end of your discussion phase, you can do any of these.
1. Open each door and check/look through - Result is you have more info (but can this new info be relied upon? In some situations it cant be hehe) 2. Go through anydoor (unless they are locked etc or whatever which I will tell you in the write up) - Result is You move lol 3. Stay put - Result is you stay put lol 4. Alternatively if you like a risk... You can tell me to open a door and check if it looks clear to move through that same phase... 5. You can also tell me to do anything imaginable that you can think of thats realistic in the situation.

Short answer is No... Everyone is exactly the same, you are who you are...
Any doors of windows?
The only doors are the four in the rooms as described... I will give a detailed write up for each phase if its not in there, it doesnt exist.
Are there Monsters/Killers?
Short answer is No... There are no spooky monsters or physco people or anything... however you can very much get damaged and die, you'll have to find out how.
Do we have anything in our pockets?
You only have exactly what Ive stated in any of the write ups... Read carefully everything Ive written is for a reason and could have a use etc.

The box will open... When I cant really tell... however I will tell you that movement into other rooms could trigger it, staying where you are wont and essentially screw the game haha...
It wont harm you at all haha, nothing bad, it will help you if your smart enough to use it...
The box you hold was randomly placed there so your not special haha just so you know.
The box you hold is not, I repeat not why the game is called "The Box" there are many other boxes around, but only one of that particular one :)

It was cold..... The steel.... Chilling and hard.... Their bones ached as they started to sit up..... Shaking their groggy heads they had obviously been drugged.... A few looked up and noticed other people in the same situation... Some looked around and realised they were alone....
As they stood up and become more aware of their enviroments they saw that they were all inside a large square room made of hard steel and completely empty..... They were all wearing a simple white pants with white t shirts and soft soled shoes.....
Where the hell were they, they each wondered to themselves still looking.... They all noticed the four doors.... One in front of them in the middle of the wall like a hatch... One behind them.... One on the floor and one on the ceiling with ladder leading to it.....
There was a intercom device on the wall blinking red indicating that it was operational..... And in one of the rooms... There was a little black box.... It was currently locked but had scribbled on the top.... "Better be keeping me with you" in ery handwriting...
They all suddenly noticed a low almost silent hum of a well machined machine start..... Where ever they were the must get out of here......

Phase 1 Write Up:

Centurion1 was alone in his cold steel room.... He got up and decided that he'll check all the doors before he did anything else.... Walking over to the left door he pushed the button obviously labeled "OPEN" the door shot open like something out of StarTrek he though.....
Looking through he saw a room that looked exactly the same as the one he was in complete with the four doors... Puzzled he moved back into his room... The door quick snapped shut....
He then climbed the ladder and opened the ceiling door the same as the first.... Again it revealed only another seemingly identical room before shuting by itself..... Finally he checked the right door which sadly revealed only another empty idential steel room..... Just as Centurion1 was climbing down from the right door.... The door in his floor suddenly opened....
A meek voice sounded through.... "Hello"
Centurion1 rushed over to the door as WilliamWallace pulled himself up from below.... "Hello, Im guessing your one of the guys on the intercom.... Anything interesting up here?" WilliamWallace asked....
"Nothing they all lead to identical doors...." Centurion1 replied...
"Well Im with two other guys down there, since theres nothing interesting up here lets go back down there" With that WilliamWallace and Centurion1 climbed back down into the room that Rhawn and Thermal were in....
"Well lets have a look at these other doors" they all agreed.... Firstly they opened the left door again seeing a room identical to theres and all the rooms Centurion had seen.... They opened the right door... It was the same but just as they looked through they saw Spilt jump through the far right door.... They called out but the door closed without alerting Split....
"Well hello" a voice came from behind the group.... They turned and saw that Greyblades and Atheotoes were climbing up into their room from below....
"You wouldnt believe what we saw down there" Greyblades said as Atheotes nodded...
"What... Explain... We have to get outta here" Centurion1 pleaded (hehe)
"Well we opened both the left and right doors but they revealed only rooms exactly like this one...." Atheotos explained.
"That seems to be a reoccuring theme" Thermal put in.
"But the floor door..... We opened that... And it was pitch black.... and the wind was so strong it almost pulled us out.... But there was nothing but darkness... And that damn hum of machinery was louder.... It quickly closed and then we headed up here" Greyblades finished....
"Well we better think about this for awhile before we do anything else...." Rhawn said......
By now the effects of the drugs were wearing off and they were all thinking more clearly....
"Hey guys... Look at this" Centurion1 said pointing to the corner of the room....
"Whats that say... Is it 'N4'?"
"Yeah its 'N4' is slightly engraved into the steel" Rhawn said upon closer inspection....
"Now what the (BEEP) does that mean" Atheotes said the stress of the situation was begining to show.......
Meanwhile in another one of the steel rooms, Captain C had decided to go and check out the room above them while Lord Winter looked at the others.... Captain C opened the ceiling door and looked in... The room was identical he thought so he carefully pulled himself up into the new room....
Just then the new rooms left hand door opened.... Split looked through from the other side....
"Hey down here" Captain C called out....
Split jumped down into the room.... He didnt hear the shout coming from his old room....
"Where did you come from?" Split asked.
"Down there" Captain C pointed at the now closed door.....
All of sudden with no warning a steel bar shot across the room at knee height.... It took both Split and Captain C completely by surprise as they were hit and flung into the air.... As quick as it had come it disappeared into an opening on the far wall disappearing as the opening closed.....
"Ahhhh (BEEP)...." Split moaned on the ground..... As he started to get up he noticed the engraving in the corner of the room.... 'T6'
"What the hell was that?" Captain C replied.... They both go to their feet.... Obviously wounded and bruised by the bar.... Blood seeping down there calfs.....
"I dont bloody know... But look at this...." Split mentioned to the engraving...
"T6? What does that mean" Captain C said looking closely at it....
"Wouldnt have a clue....." Split said as they both sat down nursing there wounds. Suddenly the black box that Split was holding burst open making him drop it.... Both of them scared at what was inside bent slowly down to look....
"A Flashlight...." Split asked in a questioning voice....
"Not just any Flashlight.... Its a black light" Captain C replied examining the Blacklight Flashlight........
Lord Winter watched Captain C disappear through the ceiling door which quickly closed behind him.... Id better check these other doors he thought to himself...
He opened the Left door which to his surprise revealed an identical room as the one he was in.... The door closed suddenly so Lord Winter climbed down...
He moved to open the Floor door and was almost sucked out as it revealed a pitch blackness with very stong winds.... Shocked he quickly closed the door....
Lastly he tried the Right door, which revealed the same pitch blackness and wind that the Floor door revealed..... It was then his mind more clear as the effects of the drugs wore off that he noticed the engraving in the corner.....
Lonely Seon decided he'd check the doors first like the others over the intercom had recommended him... He first checked the Floor door.... It was exactly the same he thought looking through, Ill check the others before I do anything else....
The Left door again revealed an Identical room.... However both the Ceiling door and the Right door revealed a total pitch blackness with strong winds and the hum of machinery..... The doors all closed by themselves as Seon disappointed with the beginings of panic creeping in sat down.... It was then like the others that he noticed the engraving....
Centurion1, Greyblades, Atheotes, Thermal, Rhawn and WilliamWallace are in the same room. The room is otherwise empty besides the Four Doors

Split and Captain C after resting and nursing there brusied and blooded legs decided to make a move...
"Those other guys on the intercom said they saw me jumping into this room.... I reckon we head back there to meet up with them..." Split said mentioning to the left door that he came through...
"Alright lets move then... Better not forget this Blacklight" Captain C said getting up...
"We'll take the open box too just in case...." Split said picking them both up....
They moved over to the left door.... Opened in.... And too their surprise they saw Lord Winter sitting in the room... Climbing through they met up with Lord Winter...
"This is the guy I was with before..." Captain C said to Split..
"Hey Lord Winter how on earth did you get here?" Cap C asked.
"What do you mean... I havent moved..." A puzzled Lord Winter replied...
"Man there is some seriously funky (BEEP) going on here" Split shuddered...
Just then the ceiling door opened.... And down climbed WilliamWallace....
"Hey.... where did you come from" The three said almost in chorus...
"Im with the rest of the guys up there" WilliamWallace pointed through the ceiling door....
"What the hell is going on" Captain C said confused as hell, as Split had came from the left originally yet now Lord Winter was here and the guys were some how above them....
They all decided to climb up to the rest in the room above....
"Well thats nine of us together.... Wonder where those other two guys are.." Thermal said as Lord Winter, Split, Captain C and WilliamWallace climbed up and joined them all in N4.
Split and Captain C explained to them all about the steel bar in T6 and showed them all the Blacklight and box.
"Well Im gonna try a theory of mine and test out that room to the left" Greyblades said as he sat down to take off his shoe.
"Ill give you a hand" Atheotes said following Greyblades to the left door....
"Im gonna check out the top and right door again" Centurion1 said... The others had a look at Captain C and Splits wounds to see if they could help...
"Nothing just the same damn rooms" Centurion1 said as he rejoined the group sitting in the middle of the room....
At that same time Greyblades opened the left door....
"Looks normal" He said to Atheotes who was studying the door frames for any sort of give away....
"Yeah nothing that I can see on the frames.... Throw your shoe in..." Atheotes replied.
Greyblades threw his shoe in which landed almost directly in the middle of the left room... They waited but nothing happened...
"Stuff this Im going in... You with me" Greyblades asked Atheotes...
"Yep... Hey guys we are gonna go check this room out... The shoe didnt show any traps... Wish us luck" Atheotes called back to the others as himself and Greyblades crawled through to the left room....
The both jumped down from the door leading back to the others in N4....
"Look here.... N3" Atheotes said finding a similar engraving as in the other room....
Just then the door leading back shut suddenly.....
Seon after talking it over with the others on the intercom, decided to try out the left door of his room in a hope to eventually link up with the others.... He too took off his shoe.... Throwing it through the door into the seemingly identical room....
Nothing happened.... Seon waited abit longer but still nothing happened.... He checked the door frames and tried to smell if the air was funny but nothing....
Well here goes he thought to himself as he crawled through and dropped down into the other room.... Checking the corner like his room....
"Hmmm T2" Instantly realising that the room that Split and Captain C were hurt in had a T also.... But nothing had happened....
However....
He suddenly felt a breeze.... Weird he thought as the breeze got stronger and stronger... Suddenly he was simply swept with ruthless force and slammed into the far wall.... Knocked unconscience and with obvious broken bones, he fell limp to the floor.....
Myrddraal the last of the lot to wake up after being drugged searched the corner of his room like the others had told him.... N11.... He read the engraving....
He decided to check his four doors....
The left door opened and the strong wind almost sucked him out as he saw the Blackness the others had reported, quickly closing the door...
He then checked the floor and ceiling doors.... Both revealing seemingly identical rooms... And as hard as he looked Myrddraal couldnt make out the engravings in the two rooms....
Lastly he opened the right door.... There lying limp was Seon.... Myrddraal quickly crawled through not knowing why Seon was unconscience and not risking staying in the room, Myrddraal simply dragged Seon back through the door to his original room.....
Tried from man handling Seon through the door Myrddraal sat down.... Then check Seon....
Captain C, Split, Lord Winter, Centurion1, WilliamWallace, Rhawn and Thermal are in the same room (N4). With you is the blacklight and an empty box, the room is otherwise empty beside the Four Doors

Myrdraal dragged the still unconscience Sean towards the ladder... Using his shirt he roughly tired Seon to that ladder to secure him against what he was about to do.... He then ripped a part of his shirt which he further ripped into two strips which he tired to the bottom rung of the ladder.....
"Well thats done" He muttered to himself as he moved towards the Right door..... It snapped open on command as Myrddraal looked for Seon's shoe.... But it wasnt there..... He looked further poking his head slightly in... It was then that he noticed a little black box in the corner.... \
With a quick decision he jumped into the room.... Quickly grabbing the box and running back to his original room....
The box was locked as he tried to open it.... Well at least he managed to read the engraving of the right room 'N12' trying to figure it all out in his mind....
He set the box down under Seon as he went to open the other doors....
Firstly climbing the ladder and checking the top door... Which opened to the forceful wind and blackness that he had experienced before..... Jumping down he checked the floor door....
This was odd... As the door opened up.... Revealing the blackness.... But this one was calm with no wind at all.... Just a even louder machinery noise.... The door shut as he headed over to the left door.....
It opened to reveal an identical room as before.... As much as he tried to make out the slight engraving of that room. He failed... He just couldnt make it out...
He returned to the box.... And continued to try open it.....
"Well im gonna head back to the others" Greyblades said to Atheotes in their room as he headed to the right door leading back.....
To his surprise the right door now opened to the windly blackness.... He closed the door just as the Floor door opened.... Rhawn poked his head through...
"What the (Bleep) ..." Rhawn said seeing Greyblades and Atheotes...
"These rooms are diffiently moving" Greyblades replied as he headed back through the floor door to the others below..
"You coming Atheotes?" He asked....
"Nah Im gonna check out these other rooms...." Atheotes replied...
With that Greyblades jumped back down into the room with the others.... Who decided to stay put for now....
Atheotes was getting stressed and paranoid from being trapped in here, he was desperate to get out and had decided to explore more even if the others didnt want too.... But first he would check all the doors he though as he ripped up his shirt into three strips which he tired to the 4th rung of the ladder....
He then first checked the Left door.... Opening it carefully and studying the door frames closely he noticed nothing.... Next he removed one of his shoe.... And threw it in....
Nothing happened... The shoe just sat there near the center of the Left room... He was about to climb in when suddenly two large pillars swung down from the ceiling of the left room.... Scrambling back into the door frame Atheotes sighed.... That was close he thought... The pillars wouldnt have killed him but would have hurt alot he thought.... Better not go in that room....
He climbed down, knowing that the right was the blackness and the floor was the others he checked the last available room the ceiling...
Checking the frames once again... And thowing his last shoe in.... He waited... This time for awhile.... But nothing happened.....
Finally he climbed in..... The door snapped shut behind him as he made his way over to the corner... And read the engraving that he couldnt see from the door....
"T14" I look of sheer panic spread across his face..... As with a simple click a wire mesh covering the whole room swept across the room with a huge force..... It passed through Atheotes.... Who shivered.... His body fell appart spreading parts of his dead body across the floor....
Captain C in the room with all the others moved over to Split....
"Should we check out the doors at least... Maybe try one?" He asked...
"Yeah we have to at least do something"
They both checked the doors as the others watched.... Both the Right and Floor doors revealed the windy blackness.... Which left the Left door....
The door opened revealing an identical room.... They both checked the frames for anything.... Nothing was found.... Split removed his right shoe and threw it into the room..... Nothing happened.... They waited.... But nothing happened....
Split then slided the empty box through the door.... Nothing happened.... He then turned the Blacklight on.... Nothing happened....
"Hey wait..... Do you see that... Theres some writing on the far wall" Captain C said pointing into the room....
"Well we better go check it out.... The room seems safe" Split replied as he crawled through the door with Captain C following...
The both jumped down into the room.... Nothing happened as they both sighed a sigh of relief.
Captain C checked the engraving....
"E4" He called out as Split using the blacklight started to read the roughly scribbled invisable writing....
"Beware or Rejoice in the alternating odds and evens..... Sounds like a mad man wrote this..." Split said....
Myrddraal and Seon are in the same room, they have a Black Box that is currently locked, the room is otherwise empty besides the Four Doors... Seon regains conscienceness for the next phase...

Myrddraal getting up puts his shirt back on as Seon begins to regain conscienceness...
"Welcome back Seon got quite a wack there" Myrddraal smiles as he helps Seon up... He is obviously hurting from broken bones but can walk slowly...
"Im gonna try this lower door spot me will you" Myrddraal moves to the floor door which opens to reveal another identical room.... he checks the frame for anything, then throws his shoe in....
Nothing happens.... But they were learning.... So he waited.... And then slid in the box.... Again nothing happened... He couldnt smell anything funny so he extended his hand and waved it around.... Still nothing...
"Well here comes the leap of faith" Myrddraal said as jumped down into the room.... Seon was just about to enter when a hook swooped down and lifted Myddraal up... Swinging him hard into the walls of each side of the room.... Not once not twice but a total of six times he is slammed against the sides.... The hook as fast as it came drops Myrddraal at retracts.... Amazingly Myrddraal is still conscience but in intense pain....
"Are you alright" Seon asks from above... But before he recieves a reply the door snaps shut....
Myrddraal crawls over to the corner of the room.... And reads the engraving.... 'T14'
"Bloody T's arhhhh"......
Just then the box he had dropped in suddenly clicks open.... a small piece of rough paper floats out.... Grabbing it Myrddraal examines it....
Meanwhile in another room Greyblades decides to investigate the top room.... Informing the others he climbs up the ladder and opens the door... Revealing a identical room.... After throwing shoes and waiting and all the other tricks the group have tried so far he eventually makes his way into the new room.....
Nothing happens as he reads the engraving.... 'E1' relieved that its not a 'T' room he sits down....
"Where should we go now...." Cap C asks split in their room....
"Well check the doors again and then decide....." Split replies as he climbs the ladder... The door opens to the same eriy calm blackness that Myrddraal reported over the intercom.... Climbing back down they head to the right side door... But it suddenly opens.....
"Hello again..." Centurion1 says as he and Rhawn crawl through from the right....
"Welcome" Laughed Captain C....
"Im gonna keep checking" Split says now heading to the floor door.... He opens it which to his surprise reveals the windy blackness of before.... Quickly closing it....
"Well that only leaves us one other door...." Captain C says mentioning to the left door....
They open the door which reveals a seemingly identical room....
"Better test it out..." Split says as he throws his shoe in....
Nothing happens but they wait.... and wait....
"Seems safe" Captain C says leaning over Splits shoulder looking into the new room.... Just then 8 nossles appear on the two side walls without doors.... Then erupt into flames as the entire room is engulfed in a inferno.... The heat licks both Split and Cap C still in the door way singeing their eyebrows but nothing more.....
They both colapse back into their room from the shock of the trap.... Safe but frightened....
The others in N4... Thermal, WilliamWallace and Lord Winter watch Greyblades disappear through the top door and both Centurion1 and Rhawn throught the right door... They themselves are slowing slipping into a paniced inaction.....
(lol Sorry Thermal.. But your orders said you were with Myrddraal which your not lol)
Seon you are alone in a room (N11), the room is otherwise empty besides the four doors...

if it is a non-mafia game there is no limit or restriction
if it is mafia...you are only allowed to host a mini game (upto 7 players)
for higher numbers it falls into the small game category for which there is 2 at a time limit and a wait time on the hosting queue. hope that helps. It might still be best to PM a moderator :bow:

Just so you know... The way ive designed (or not designed lol) this game, some of you could even luck out right at the begining if your really really lucky, but with 10 players I dont expect that to happen.

Um time consuming no.... Your orders etc could be as simple as two lines if that... However there are things you can do to better your survival...

Lol almost at capacity... We could go a bit over 10, so if its over 10 but you really really wanna play then let me know...
Um appart from that everything is ready to go, just need to update the first post with the rules/info/intro write up etc... But other than that I can start this today....
Um I guess Ill allow one day per phase for discussion etc... But dont think that is needed lol. But we'll see.... Ill update the OP soon with all the above (work permitting, I am at work right now lol)

They all suddenly noticed a low almost silent hum of a well machined machine start..... Where ever they were the must get out of here......
Rules:
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
- Anything goes.... You can talk to each other through the intercom if you are not in the same room, so posting in here is fine.
- Each phase is like maybe 10 minutes in game time (this doesnt really matter) however I will give you guys a full day to discuss between each phases.
- At the end of the dicussion you each must decide the following: 1. You can open all doors just to check/look through or 2. You can only go through one door per phase each. 3. You can stay put if you want.
- You each have a vitality of 4... When that gets to zero you die... One point, there is no monsters hunting you or anything.

At the end of your discussion phase, you can do any of these.
1. Open each door and check/look through - Result is you have more info
2. Go through anydoor (unless they are locked etc or whatever which I will tell you in the write up) - Result is You move lol
3. Stay put - Result is you stay put lol
4. Alternatively if you like a risk... You can tell me to open a door and check if it looks clear to move through that same phase... You can also tell me to do anything imaginable that you can think of thats realistic in the situation.
I would make it so you could check the doors and then move through one, but it would throw off the rest of the game...

All looking through door actions can be done as a group, however you can each decide to individually go through a different door....

I'm going to climb the ladder in my room and once I'm at the top listen at the hatch, if I don't hear anything strange I'll open it slowly and peek up at whats in the room above (assuming its a room)

For this first round since there was not a proper write up (without giving too much away lol) I will walk you guys through your choices etc cause some doors are locked etc, but I dont want to make you waste a phase to find that out since from now on you'll be told which doors are locked in each room you go to in the write up...

All im gonna say is that it will open... But it wont if you stay put lol.... And its essential to the whole game haha hence why I told you not to leave it behind lol.
Just a note:
If you ask me which doors you can go through... For this round I will tell you.... However... That doesnt mean that those doors can not be explored and perhaps tell you something... They just cant be gone through... next round it wont matter and your on your own...
Just one thing... Every single word written in the intro is there for a reason.... Think about it :)

Fine then I'll go into that room assuming my intial look or whatever doesnt cause me to think it's a trap or theres a horrible monster in there.
Both of us don't need to look, so if Lord Winter wants to go through another door or check all of the other rooms thats fine.

Nothing will happen to me, the box will not harm me, or anyone else, but walking between rooms activates it...
What this activation does is, it may find us things we cannot see with our eyes, such as a way out, or something.

I slightly open the nearest door and look through to see what's behind it.
If it looks all clear, open the door and if I immediately don't like what's behind it, close the door again. If not, walk through.
IF whatever on the otherside is quite alive and attempts to chase me down, run to another door and burst through that one.
I wonder if that is possible in one round :D

I'll look through all my doors and see if there is anything dangourous. If there isn't I stay put. If it poses an immediate threat to me I the room I'm in and go to a different room which appears safe.

So there are a minimum of 6 rooms and they are interconnected. we could probably get an idea of the layout once we explore. we should probably be in the look out for traps rather than monsters.

look through the door behind me and check for any traps if there aren't go through. look especially around the rim of the door and the floor make sure no trip wires on anythi ng on the walls alongside the door. also smell for any gases
if any traps are present leave it alone. if not go through the door

I think you're missing an important advantage here. If you don't move you can look through all four doors in your room. You are only limited to one if you want to move into another room.
Looks like a fun game. Wish I was playing!

This dude is right... If you just want to look.. You can look at all four.... However next phase that information may or may not help you. But yes if you just want to look you can look at all four at once.
Once again you can do any of these each phase...

Lol heres something I wipped up in paint.... I guess it would make it easier to say that there is the Floor, Ceiling, Left and Right doors... So four doors.
