Profile Polls 2009!

Welcome to the second edition of the profile polls, hosted none other than the dimwit that is....me :mad:.

Rules:

-For the next fortnight while this competition runs, no edits to contestants profiles are allowed, it must remain the same throughout, editing it will in most cases result in disqualification

-You must look at every profile that has entered the competition, if you cannot do that then please do not vote

-Contestants may advertise the contest, put it in their signatures and put in links to this page, however all competitors are to restrain from asking for votes, bribing or any kind of persuasion to vote for their own profile, or anyone Else's, any attempt to persuade people to vote in a certain way will lead in an automatic disqualification

-Non-contestants are also encouraged not to influence other peoples votes after or before their own vote

-This is a contest to judge the profile, the work that has been put into the profile and how much you like it, it is a contest to show appreciation to one of the finest profiles in the whole of the org. refer to the profile instead of a persons popularity or friendly acquaintance with you when voting

-The poll will be open for 16 days

-Contestants may not vote for themselves, voting for ones self will make the vote invalid

-Submissions will be nameless, therefore encouraging voters to look at all profiles before voting

-If there is anything i have missed out, then use your own decency and knowledge to decide what the answer would be or PM me before doing it

-The Winner WILL get an official badge under there avatar as well as a custom made signature, second place also gets a custom made signature.

-Voting is public so those that vote for themselves can have those votes dis counted, should it happen.

Gah, I voted for mine but I very much prefer Kage's, if there is any way that vote could be shifted for the final tally.

My personal favorite is definitely Splitpersonality, though Kage comes close.

Though 6 to split & 3 to kage looks distant, minus the self vote & plus evil maniacs vote, its actually very tight, at 6:5, but were only 1 day in so changes may happen :mellow:

If I could vote multiple, I'd vote for 2, 3, and 9, 11, and 13. they are, in my mind, very good, if somewhat uninspired at times. I arbitrarily picked # 9, as its the closest to the number 6. (seriously)

(to be honest, they all looked good (including the ones I'm about to "criticize" , but I'm a jerk :clown:)

some do look like a Flame fairy's* paradise with overly gaudy colors (they know who they are), which left me blind for a few minutes-I'm still trying to recover. one of them had a weed green border color that was just an eye-sore to look at with the khaki color mixed in (it would have been perfect if mixed with cooler colors).

And to one of the submissions, here's a clue-stick: use colors for your username that don't blend into the background-I'd like to see your name whenever I decide to pay a visit (I'm still trying to figure out who it is :clown: ).

some were IMHO overdone, with anything from what I can only describe as repetitive little sprites to vacca-related stuff.




*as in the type in my signature-the ones who like to flame posts with overly colorful, bold, and oversized letters continuously (like Abokasee did in the *famous* thread. (so now you know the rainbow color theme is NOT gay related)

and yes, I'm kidding (except for the guy who got the clue-stick-seriously)
