.org Buffy Mafia 2: A Slayer's Work ...

This is a direct sequel to my previous Buffy game on this forum. If a character died in the first one, they're probably still dead ;).

I'll probably be shifting over to a 5 point victory scale for this one.

To recap, this game (like the last one), will contain

A through-line epsodic narrative, altering between Buffy and Angel episodes

Multiple scum teams

Character reveals on death but not alignment reveals.

Many night powers.

I'm looking for between 25 and 30 players.

Considering that this is a show an thus people can look up who the charaters are, you really should give the mafia cover roles so it is not as easy as last time for the town to win.

I've zero knowledge of Buffy and played the previous two (three?) games, including at twc, and enjoyed them. So in again please auto.

Recommend sending out invites, Autolycus. People may still be weary from Capo and not checking the org as regularly; perhaps a personal invite could spark interest. It worked for Capo.

Giving myself pre-game reasons to bus you mercilessly as your mafia partner so that I alone will survive the game.

Relax, it will only hurt as you're dying. After that, it's smooth sailing. But I cannot understate how painful the actual dying part will be. Nasty business that. But we all have to make sacrifices for the greater good... all of us except me.

Alright, I'm sending out a wave of invites now. If we get enough people, PMs will come out this weekend and the game will start on Monday or Tuesday of next week.

Excellent. PMs should come out over the next 36 hours, and the game will start some time on Wednesday. Please do not discuss the game with others until the game thread is up, unless they are part of your scum team.

Just finished double-checking my planned balance. PMs are going out now.
I've got a lot of work to do, so I'm going to skip the role pictures and send them out on Sunday.
I repeat: No roles have pictures until Sunday.

For fabricating false Role PMs, if your role is the same color as your town in your PM, you're innocent. If it's black, you're neutral. If it's a different color, you're scum. Green is Los Angeles, Blue is Sunnydale (I may have reversed that accidentally in a few peoples' PMs)

Everyone except for Fluffy and Kagemusha has their role pm. They need to empty their mailboxes. If they don't within 24 hours, I'll cut them and either cut their roles or give them to someone else who is relatively vanilla innocent right now, depending on how important their roles are.

Did you try leaving them a visitor message to let them know, auto?

And all PMs are out!! I'm tired, so I'll post the opening write-up and start the game tomorrow at about 2 pm EST. First day will probably be 72 hours so people know the game has started, then we'll switch to a 48 day 24 night in all likelihood.

I remember nudging Autolycus about his signature link to this signup sheet, what was it, maybe 3 years ago now.
