No, you are just Irish.
(Can an american make that joke?)
Nah, nothings echoes disagreement better than a broken nose, we are still men.
Yes.
Cent, I am sure it made you feel a lot better but you know if you are going to make it in life, particularly as a military officer, even for a short time, you are going to have to be a lot more diplomatic.
You need to handle such things with tact and restraint. Use your head first and keep a handle on your emotions.
If she is an ex- then just let it go. Her opinion of you should count for nothing.
Yes.
(starts reading OP)
Yes.
Yes.
You have problems dude.
Yeah...
is this the same centurion i met in sydney? or am i mixing ppl up?
Centurion, so your Ex insults you, and you go and beat up someone else? Unless you left something out, her current BF had nothing to do with her snarky remark, so did not deserve your "attention". Are you a bad person? I don't know you well enough to say, but what you did was bad.
Not a bad person
Just an immature punk kid
Keep hitting people becuase some girl whom you used to have sex is being vindictive. You'll eventually get stabbed. If this incident happend somewhere that isn't the self contained enviroment of college that's probably what would've happened.
Toattly alpha bro
nah nah, STFS said it better than Gregoshi.
Bad judgement call, Cent. Better to laugh in her face than get jammed up with the legal ramifications of physical assault. You would be the aggressor in this case, and would have no legal *ie self-defense* leg to stand on. Channel the anger, take it out on a heavy bag at the gym.
*giggles*
He tough little boy!
This was a troll guys or I would be typing from a jail cell right now. Obviously I need to improve my delivery.
40's are for plebeians we all know that.
You all thought Cent would actually contemplate his actions if he was in angry mode over his girl?
Tis why I tried to make a lame joke.
Ow gawd you are all women, we used to fight for fun, village a village. I have been stabbed, clubbed and obviously beaten up and it was a great annual tradition
Kasemattuhhhhhhhh
Hmmpf. I've had guns pointed at my head, knives drawn at me and couple of times I had girls with vewy, vewy sharp fingernails charging at me. Jokes about this kind of stuff stopped being jokes by the time I turned 14, but I can understand when kids want to have their fun in forum. Très drôle.
obviously you have bad karma.
Shameful display! :)
If the ex was getting beaten by the boyfriend then beat him up.
Otherwise I like the revenge in I think it was the break up? He played video games with the new boyfriend. Being friends with an exact new bf is to her like your gf being friends with the ex... Something to fear.
@GC and Frags:
I agree, that some times people need to be taught a lesson the only way you can teach them one (even if that means risking running afoul of the law), but you better have a darned good reason before you go messing someone's face up like in the fictional example of Cent's.
I have been in fights before, but I was the one who got attacked every time but one. The only time I was the aggressor was when some punk had bloodied my little brother's face at the beach. The only reason I attacked him then though was to teach him a lesson for attacking someone else.
That may have been the wrong choice I made, but I think family needs to stick up for each other, and you gotta make people scared to death of hurting your family, so I did it anyway.
To just attack someone though because you are mad at them (or at someone else), that is not what men do, it is what savage animals do.
And it is really stupid, as you could end up killing someone unintentionally. Even if you do not, you could end up spending time in jail or being sued.
Typical street fights go to the person who is most quickly willing to escalate the level of violence. If they have a blade chances are you will get cut before you see it. If you try to use your patenened ground and pound that your super awesome MMA instructor taught you, you will get a chair broken over your head. Even if you do have a gun, if you are not trained, it'll be worthless.
Be aware of your surrondings, see trouble before it happens, and run like hell.
I don't know how often I have to repeat this before you 28 year old virgins get the message

But I've got to put my newfound size to good use.
Since when was I the guy advocating street fights? I am the guy who always says avoid a fight if possible. Because I said there are a few rare exceptions when there is stuff worth fighting for, suddenly I am advocating going around and starting fights? You didn't read my post Whacker.
Gotta be careful Frags, or you could easily end up doing something you don't want to do.
It's one thing to be able to fight, and another thing to deliberately seek fights.
Yes but I can still say I protected a friend from 10 Hells Angels. Would have at least it never became an actual fight
Don't worry when I really can't win I walk away
