13er summer game thread

Thanks all for signing up. The game will start at 6PM EST sunday 30th of July.

Rules:

• 48/24 phases, at 6pm american eastern. :00 posts/votes are good, :01 posts/votes bad.
• 50 posts each day, postcap released one hour before deadline.
• You may not talk after death.
• Don't quote anything I say to you. Paraphrasing is fine.
• No screenshots, etc.
• You may NOT talk to players outside the thread unless otherwise specified in your role PM.
• You will vote for players you want lynched during the day, using the format, Vote: Zack. Votes must be in bold to count. You do not need to unvote to vote someone else. I will count your last legal vote as your vote. You must use that specific vote format with the colon or the vote WILL NOT count. (this is so i can find the votes easier)
• Subs are not allowed.
• Do not talk at night.
• Votes that end in a tie will be decided by random lynch.
• No lynch is allowed as is abstain.
• Don't edit posts please.
• If you miss a day phase I will message you and see whats up. Missing two days is an instant modkill.
• Have fun. This is not an option . If you don't think you'll have fun with this game... don't join it.

Hello I don't know how to solve a game in 50 posts so I have decided to be an agent of (hopefully) town agenda chaos by suggesting we do this: pick a name. First come first serve, remove it from the list. Each user gets one. You cannot remove yourself. Last person is killed. We start day 2 with a day of social interactions. If this fails to kill a wolf I don't mind dying day 2 for suggesting this. Life is too short.

Of course you need not rush your decision. Socialize a bit. When you feel good about a pick take them off.

I removed dya because I feel I have a way to read them accurately where as most of this list I don't have the faintest clue. Except perhaps sk but I can't keep living off years ago success forever.

I mean, it isn't that hard to solve a game with each player only having 50 posts IMO. But I don't think it's a bad idea either since we can at least talk it over.

Ah well in particular I am better when I have meta and practice with others or I think I have a strong feel for a person. Most of this list I don't play with too too often and is highly skilled. Perhaps it won't be rocket science though.

Most of all I think it's fun and a little intriguing. Mixes it up a bit. A truly chill experience.

Last game (and I think that's his only game here?) Achro made 336 posts over 5 days, for an average of ~67, which is close enough to 50 not to have to panic at the thought of a 50 postcap, so yes, scumpoints deserved.

This isn't really wolfy though if you think about it, 50 posts is more then you think tbh, esp when u usually are a high poster volume wise.

Like they might think 50 posts is "nothing" when in reality, it does take time to eat through 50 posts IMO

it was 1 of my least favourite posts in my read through actually lol


but then when i had ready the post calling it wolfy, the feeling kinda waned and i didnt feel like it was particularly wolfy anymore i guess

honestly not that much i just wanted to vote him

if i wanted to overthink it i could probs call a few things hes done actively wolfy (and i might believe the lack of confidence is) but i think most of it falls under the "i believe this is probably NAI but it's just silly" tree

i guess typing this out i sorta get the "how do i solve a game with such a low postcap" thing because im used to games having a lot more by now so my hedgy ass doesnt actually have that much i concretely lean one direction or another on but that sounds more like a me problem than an achro problem

I think achro's suggestion might be v from him but it's too easy to manipulate as a wolf. I dont like it for that reason. I do think achro kind of villagery because the try-hardiness is less than the last game where he was a wolf though

Plus I said I think I can read them. So if they don't want to play my fun game I will mason them. I have had great success on fol either town reading or killing my masons day 1 its a pretty neat trick. 5/5 I believe.

I of course am not going to be an idle sheep, but merely living in day's world view and making myself comfy. Also a bit glib because that's fun.

Anyway luckily for me I think I am excellent at knowing who wolfreads me is town or not because my self awareness is dumb. Taffy feels genuine.

Good morning ladd. I think this is my first time playing with you when I am town in an fm game (that I can remember, i kind of tried to skirt around you as wolf and then n1'd you lol) and I have a question for you. Why do you think backing off the idea is town indicative? Is it town for achro or just a general town thing to do? I would like a nice detailed thought on this because I feel as if this defense is a little unnatural as the last time I swept the game as wolf and to my knowledge you shouldn't have too much prior experience with me compared to say ender.

If you get the same answer I came up with in my head you are probably town would be cool ngl

i think i'd have prooobably called it villagery regardess, but my impression of you is someone who tries to control the thread (i have never seen you wolf, but i assume this is just a personality thing and not ai dependent) so i figure if you did the little act with the list as a wolf to be called villagery by people you'd have tried to keep it up at least some more to get discussion on that


and the way you pivoted from the list stuff to sheeping dya felt pure and not something predetermined nor made with malicious intentions, i'd have villa read that from ~anyone

Good logic but I have a feeling good logic is nai for you given the stories I hear about you. I was hoping that the reason had more specifics in it to really grab onto. I will let others interact with you to see how I feel about you, you are a tough one. I found you in Anni though by comparing your wolf mash performance so maybe I will read a couple of games of yours to see if this is indicative.
