None. I drink tea instead.

I got addicted to coke over the summer... That ruined the old teeth.
But not coffee. Mochas maybe, but I'm not man enough for proper coffee. ~;)
I usually drink 3-4 cups a day, but it dosent affect me..... I only drink it for the warmth after these cold wet irish mornings... ~:cheers:
Used to average 9 or more cups per day. Four by 10 am.
0 a day, i have coke instead.
i've been making an effort to drop my intake down to one small cup in the morning - and i've been largely successful. my previous habit wasn't that bad, maybe 3 cups until lunch. still, i need some daily.

Wake up - one giant tea.
On the way to work - one big coffee.
Lunch - one or two big coffees
After work - one small coffee
Nightime - two to four cups of tea.

Coffee? Occassionally. I love tea --when made well! Have a couple glasses daily at least; usually ten or so.
I like weed teas too.

No caffeine at all...I wake up very quickly.
I've actually read that an apple in the morning is more condusive to pepping up than coffee.

I LOVE coffee and tea, both with LOTS of sugar... I mean shameful, embarassing amounts of sugar.... :embarassed:

I am a tea and coke man really. Drink 2 cups of tea a day and around 3 500ml bottles of coke a day, though sometimes I have the occasional coffee, in fact I have one sitting right next to me as I speak.
Started drinking coffee at 7.
Most coffees in one day was 24. After that my face had a numb feeling like going to the dentist for a day. Was all in a exam lead up... so I decided to have no coffee for a six week period before study week at uni from then on... to maximise any alertness from coffee.
I gave up coffee for an entire year when I was 24 ... ironically this happened when I was working in gold exploration and was working in Sumatran mountains (exploring in and around coffee plantations).
I can't imagine the horror of trying to rein in a 7 year old boy after he slugs down a cup o' joe. I bet the term rambunctious was an understatement.
My personal record for coffee consumption in a day (16 hours) was 30 cups, three 10 cup pots worth. We were on lock down at the jail for 6 days straight to search for contraband and weapons after an officer was beaten and stabbed to death by an inmate gang. I was wired enough from the situation alone, that I didn't sleep much for those 6 days, the amount of coffee I consumed guaranteed it.
I gave the beans up when my wife was pregnant. She couldn't drink, so I didn't either. After a very brief withdrawal, I found I slept better, so I haven't gone back.
They make some really great decafs these days, so if you like the taste and the warmth and the whole ritual of the thing, there's plenty of goodness out there.
I only have coffee once a month or less.
Usually 1-3 soda's each day, 1-3 cups of milk and 4-6 16oz bottles of water.
Coffee in the morning makes me real queasy...I can only drink it after lunch.

I do drink coffe but i have a strange coffee drinking pattern. I m not a person who will drink everyday but i used to consume tons of coffee during exam periods or when sleep was not a priority. So more or less long periods of no coffee of very little coffee and short periods of major caffeine overdose (and 3-4 hours of sleep per day)
What i consider coffee is a poison. First of all i always have black coffee. I add about 4 spoons of coffee,so in a small cup coffe makes up about 30% of the volume or more, instead of one or two. During my university years and particularly my 3rd year exams I reached the extreme of eating coffee ~D or just dissolve it in half a cup of water untill it becomes a thick liquid. Believe it or not i ve grown a taste for the bitter hell in a cup. I didnt do it in my Masters Degree year though (caffeine is not worth its side-effects i think) and i dont think i ll do it again, i go on drinking ultra strong coffee though.

Does anyone regularly drink anything other than coffee from the regular "drip" coffee maker? I started out with that after college, but about 2yrs ago I moved on to the french press, 6 months ago I got an espresso maker and finally, just today, I picked up a small 'ibrik' and had my first dose of "turkish" coffee- thought I'd give it a go since I finally got a grinder good enough to make it. So, am I alone here or there other coffee nut wannabees? ~:cool:
There's no such thing as coffe addiction. I've been drinking at least a good big cup a day, with plenty of sugar and milk, for the last 6 years of my life, and I've got no addiction whatsoever. Addiction!? Gimme a break...
I've been migrating over to Red Bulls and Soda. Tastes a lot better, plus it has more chemical junk in it.
I drink coffee and tea...but...I will admit I do have an addiction to coffee. It's just so bloody good...
I don't need caffeine, give me 7 hours of sleep or so and I will be up til dawn!

When I am finally laid to rest my cup, coffee maker & grinder + 1 lb. of Sumatra coffee beans will be going with me. My wife promises to put them right next to my salt shaker. ~D
I have never tried Turkish coffee, but I wonder if it is similar to Spanish coffee? An inmate at the prison I worked turned me on to Spanish coffee a while back. He took finely ground coffee, he used a mortar & pestle to get it as fine as talcum powder, and placed it in a sock. He added the sock and lots of sugar (several ounces at least) to a hotpot of boiling water and poured off the foam & liquid into small cups just as it was about to boil over. Quite delicious, but don't drink the sediment in the bottom of the cup. Good coffee is nectar of the Gods. The above mentioned Sumatra with it's earthy bold flavor is one of my favorites. :rtwyes:
Well, Turkish coffee (at least as I know it) is made by putting a few teaspoons of sugar in the ibrik, filling it most of the way with water and adding copious amounts of finely ground coffee (think powder) so that it floats in a thick layer on top of the water. You heat the concoction until the foam reaches the top and then remove from heat and stir it down- repeat 2 more times, except no stirring the 3rd time. I like it, but its probably going to be too much work/mess to have regularly...

I had some sumatra mandheling before, but it didn't really do much for me- although I have reason to believe it may have been past its prime. Tough to find fresh coffee around here...
I am not a person who need coffee everyday but I have one mug every morning cause my mum always make extra. ~:)

I usually have somewhere from 3 to 6 a cups a day and I drink instant coffee with milk no sugar.
I love espresso - it's the best thing I can ask for after a solid lunch on warm Sunday afternoon :bow:
I am admittedly addicted to Coffee when at work... yet surprisingly I rarely drink any at home.
Guess it just comes with the Job of being an IT Admin. (and that Coffe maker sitting in the corner of our small office, just calls to me). :help:
