the history of what ?
the world you want to see the cover? if so e-mail me.
Hey Clayton,
You look a lot like Ichi. Not too far away from me, either, I might add.
You know, if your goal is write a tome of all history, that's going to be a lifelong project even to read the cliff notes. Do you think you might want to focus on a specific timeframe of a specific people's history?

Well, you won't be the first person to do that, I'd still suggest focusing on one timeframe and place at a time though. That way you can be thorough and don't have to keep coming back on the same topics.Quote:

Also spamming your own thread wont make you any friends.
To be honest, if your looking for someone to help you write a history of the entire world, i dont think you will find anyone here willing to do that. Ill help you when you get to ww2 Germany though, but that in itself could consist of 19+ volumes.. ~;)
i told you in your pmQuote:

That means the earliest you can begin, and be taken seriously, is at age 25. A quality book, will take several years to write, edit, and publish. Lets take a shot with 3-4 years. 19 books, at 3-4 years, will take 60-80 years. Add that to the 25 you need to get your degree, and unless you live to 105, are writing non-stop and manage to pump out large, quality books at the rate of one every 3-4 years (which is pretty damn fast), it can't happen.
Honestly, unless you want to be largely dissapointed in the future, I recommend being a little less ambitious, and enter the world of reality. A solid book, in-depth and informative on your favourite field, is the best way to go.
Have you heard of Will Durant? The author (with the help of his wife) of the Complete History of Civilization series? That man produced 8 books or so (not sure, I haven't read them all), but QUALITY ones in his entire lifetime, and he didn't even do them entirely alone.
19 books, is just asking for either sub-par quality, lack of information, or pocket book sizes.
ELIAS! i have had it GEROSHI DEAL WITH HER NOW PLEASE
First of all, I'm a guy. Second of all, fine, I don't care anymore.
Sorry for showing signs of care and trying to help you. I'm gonna stop posting in this thread if thats what makes you happy.
good because with all your correcting you are wasting my timeQuote:

There it is.
The link I posted above is even funnier than the one he is telling you about. I HIGHLY recommend you read it, it's a MUST READ.
Elias, that is enough. If you registered here just for some personal crusade against clayton, then you can turn around and go back to where you came from. If you have anything other than clayton-bashing to contribute to these forums, and it sounds like you do, you are welcome to stay. If you have a grievance against any patron here, you need to send a PM to me and let me handle it. Thank you for your cooperation.
clayton, you had better settle down. You can't go off yelling at anyone who gets you upset. If you have a problem with another patron, PM me about it and let me handle it. Next outburst gets you a warning.
heah but that big mouth person would not shut-up and i got tired of it i hate HIM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :furious3:Quote:

THAT IS QUITE ENOUGH OF THAT clayton. If you cannot follow our forum rules then you will have to face the consequences. No more posts like this clayton. Do you understand? And I would appreciate if you not use me as a threat to others. Being my "friend" does not allow you to do as you please.Quote:

May I suggest you work on your spelling and grammar first? Then once you've got that under control, start looking at your style of writing. Quite frankly it looks like the work of a 14 year old, and if you want it published it is never going to be good enough.
I'm 14 and I can spell and use grammar in the appropriate and correct way. ~ ~D
I had another point I was going to make but I've forgotten; I'll edit this post when I remember.
Very true, but if you re-read my post you will see that my comment about it looking like the work of a 14 year old reffered to writing style, rather than spelling and grammar. ~;)Quote:

"history lovers" is a presentation of sort while this thread is more of an invitation to help clayton. At least that was the original intent.
His first thread was an introduction and some info on his 'book', the other one was 'samples' supposedly from his book but was from other websites
As you can see elsewhere in this forum I will go out of my way to help newcomers to historical subjects. This case was special. Between you, Templar Knight and several others, I think we have put Clayton Ballentine on the right track. Now it's up to him to show that he means business. Why don't we close this thread? It only invites spam. I should know because I'm probably the worst spammer on the board after Templar Knight who would, in all probability, not live for another minute if forced to eat his own spam. I don't believe what I'm writing here. Gregoshi, close the thread, shoot me if you have to - but please make this stop.Quote:

So if you've nothing more to contribute to the original intent of this thread, then move on Brothers and Sisters.
BTW, that was a very nice summary of the situation in the first half of your post Adrian.
I know I know, the second part was... Well, I'm not a mod you know, I was only reaching out to poor brother Templar whose endless spamm...Quote:
