Inspired by the Jedi Thread, I thought i would make a Starwars Pointless poll to celebrate the opening of Reveng of the Sith.
so my question is = Who would in in a fight between the 2 most hated races in starwars the Gungans and the Ewoks. I'll leave it to you guys to discuss the situations the battle would arise in.

In open terrain the Ewoks would probably be dead meat, considering the technological superiority of the Gungans.
In the woods, where the Gungans would have problems utilizing their heavier equipment, the Ewoks might eventually overwhelm them using their dreaded pointy sticks and pebbles.
Anyway, I sure hope a potential war between the two will be looong and bloody and leave the victor to weak to prevail much longer afterwards :devil:

Either way it'd be a very boring war with probably very few casualties since neither side seems capable of developing stabbing weapons (although one has mastered flight and the other has mastered sheild technology - but still depends on giant beasts of burden to convey it).

are we going to have to add another race to the battle? because in the movie previews for episode III, it looks like there's some kind of wookie battle, and trusting to the genius of lucas, i can only surmise that they will be as bumbly as the ewoks and gungans.
I sure hope that the Wookies in Episode III will be considerably more intimidating than Ewoks or Gungans... (and I assume that they should be able to turn both Gungans and Ewoks into bloody pulp)Quote:

jar jar was a gungan. The Wookies should rock because although they live in trees they have technology (Bowcasters for example!) and are bloody massive!!
Did you ever play Star Wars: Battlegrounds? I think the wookies had the 2nd best air force or something like that, despite the fact it just seemed to be ewoks on gliders.
I only wanted Ewoks to win so i voted for them. there smarter but cant swim so Gunguns win i guess. There still annoying though. Why did Jar jar binks get on the senate !?
Jar jar was Naboos representative on the Senate in Amidala's Absence.
Battlegrounds was a good game but it was Just AOEII Age of Kings with a new skin. Still i had a lot of fun with it.
right now Im of to find a topic where i can make a truly inspirational post to hit my 1,000 post mark!!

I'm fairly sure the Gungans would trash the Ewoks unless they were in a wood-as, apparently, the Ewoks can beat even Imperial Stormtroopers in dense forest.

Well the ewoks managed to annihilate an entire elite stormtrooper battalion, even with their walkers and guns, whilst armed only with polystyrene blocks and tree trunks. So my money is on them. The elite assasins disguised as cute and fluffy puppets.
I propose, that to make it a fair fight, they battle it out on neutral ground. Alderan would be a nice choice. ~;)
how about tatooine. No water or forests... they probably will alld ie from that. so cart them all in ~:cheers:
i'm telling you, those wookies will be tripping over their own feet and accidentally shooting each other with their bowcasters. i have a bad feeling about this...
Ewoks. They are smarter, and don't talk as stupid. Also, their spears and bows are better than the weird bubbles the gungans have...

No kidding. That was odd since that was his finest legion... and it seemed an awfully understrength legion.
Actually I think that the stormtroopers were out late drinkin the night before and then they were like "S#17 GUYS BATTLE" and start stumbling over themselves and dying
Why does everyone hate Ewoks? ~:confused:
I never knew that the stormtroopers the ewoks beat wer supposed to be the best...kind of odd...

wookie battle in ep 3 should be good. Too bad they will probably attack as foot infantry in a open area unsupported and still win when they should be slaughtered..
why? why? did our august emperor feel the need to recruit luke? vader was already on life support, the pathetic rebellion was about to be crushed. once vader told him luke was on that shuttle, emperor should have blown it up. but noooo, the emperor decides to bring luke and vader together, the only two people in the empire that have a chance against him. what powers could a sith luke bring him, that he didn't already have with the imperial fleet and a fully operational battlestation, as well as being an all around meanie. must be those skywalker midichlorians clouding up force perceptions or something.

I think in open train the Gungans would win, I mean they have those blue shield and that one big shield to protect their entire legion ( Episode 1 )

Anywho, I voted Ewoks...
Their big energy shield is useless against ewok weapons. It protects only against energy weapons, the droids could pass through it. Also the gungan catapults could fire the big blue balls through the shield so it will be no hindrance against ewok arrows and gliders as well.Quote:
