5,9
5' 11"
5'8
5' 6"
5' 10".
I'm the shortest so far to post in this thread at 5'5", Oh well.:tiny:
forgive me my ignorance but i use centimeters 187cm. ~
1,87 meters....so...about 6´2´
Edit: conversion to feets and inches was wrong
One more for the metric system: 1.81m
I'm 5'2", the new shortest in the thread.
Thanks for the info Ronin and Elias71:bow: ~:cheers:Quote:

Anyways, I'm 179cm (5'11").
1.77 meters, for my European friends.
6,5
or 1.98 meters (i think)
Yep 6,6 = 200cm
6,5 = 197.5cm
Well, if I start at the top of my head, I go all the way down to the floor.
The rest of the world begins where my feet end.
179cm
Maybe there should be poll or King Henry V can update the fist post, because the info needs to be collated so that it makes sense.
The poll: Metric or Imperial units?
Metric, because it makes more sense.
Imperial is easier for comparison. But the sections would be easier using metric.
140-150
150-160
ETC.
Yes, go for it

1m 85cm and probably gonna finish at somewhere around 1m 90cm.
Dutch, eh...
47 ~
Ha! Bunch of shorties. I'm 6 foot/180cm and I haven't even stoped growing yet!
during the past year, I've gone from 6 foot to 6 foot 4, my dad is 6 foot 2, and my grandfather was 6 foot 8, so I'll be somewhere in the middle, I'm sure...
You should really make poll of this? ~
6"2.
that's funny!Quote:

I should look more at the screen and less at the women who work here.
How typcial, a guy can't type because he is staring at women... :furious3:Quote:

Suzy? No, not offensive, more like, "Focus...!"Quote:

So are you saying that as an excuse? There isn't really anything to excuse... just a small typo, with humorous results.
I'm not using it as an excuse, just venting some pent up rage is all.
Well just go vent your rage somewhere else! RaaaaaaaahhH!!!Quote:

6' exactly; 13 and half stones too
How much is a stone, anyway? Nobobdy ever told me *googles* ahhhh...!Quote:

A pound is 16 ounces.
According to my weights:
2.5 pounds = 1.1 kilograms
5 pounds = 2.3 kilograms
10 pounds = 4.5 kilograms.
Same here, so I guess it's between 5'11" and 6" in this inaccurate inch and foot system ~;)Quote:

Is there anyone else in this club? It is very exclusive and small...

But what is the X,Y notation that some people use?
If you consider 6" to be small then what of those under 6"? dwarves? ~DQuote:

Crazy-ass islanders and their wayward subjects. Methinks we should take another go to bring them into the fold... so that I can understand how heavy and tall they are! >_
I see, thanks for the explanation, it can prevent embarrassing situations ~D Still, I share The Wizard's opinion. Perhaps the inch and foot system was useful in 1500 AD but it's no longer pertinent.Quote:

5'11.8" You can tell I'm craving that 6ft height. ~
5'8", still growing though. I guess the cereals do work ~
approximately 1.80 Meters, have no idea what that is in feet .
:balloon2:
The English system is horrible (I believe that is what it is called.). The metric system is far superior...
I know my height in feet because my parents are both 5'8" and I am 2-4 inches taller than them.
5'4" and I think I'm shrinking.
Had to check to make sure the thread wasn't "How big are you" ~;)
Metric is for schools, Imperial is for measurements of the body, gold, meat, and everything else... Imperial stimulates the mind, because there is more arithmetic required (12 inches = 1 foot, 3 feet = 1 yard, 1760 yards = 1 mile, not 1000mm = 1m)
I am 5' 11", and growing...
Metric is far more accurate and there is no reason why it couldn't be used for everything. Because you do not use fractions with the metric system it is much easier to do measurements.
Actually, that's about average, if you catch my drift ~;)Quote:

See why it is the really short club?
5'11"
exactly, so it decays the minds of those taught to use it, whereas Imperial stimulates the mind.Quote:

1 inch of six foot for the past 6 months and i'm getting angry at the sheer thought of it
:furious3: :furious3: :furious3:
But couldn't you stimulate the minds of the students with other things such as the material for which they need the metric system?
Most people I know use the Imperial system and trust me it stimulating their minds does not help them....
