Clayton wrong place mate. The colleseum is for this. ~:)
I am sure the mods shall move it.
Deffo wrong place!
The AI hates almost anyone it has a border with. Make allies with the other side of the map.
i tryed that but there is no reason to ttry again because well they always say no and i can't even be alies with persia if i am playing JuliiQuote:

Clayton,
you are a genius. Spending lots of money to build a huge army to outnumber the enemy. Whow! How did you get this plan? You are American, right?
To your first question:
I think diplomacy depends on the fraction you play. With Greece I never found a partner, with Scythia I had no problem to find one.
It may also depend on your behavior in the past. Braking treaties might reduce to get new ones.
Ingenious.Quote:

Man, I now enjoy RTW more than when I bought the game ~ , because now I even lose battles ~ , AI kinda makes alliances against me, the game is VERY CHALLENGING (on H/VH), btw I downloaded CCLight Music Mod (it includes soundtracks from such masterpieces as Gladiator, Pyrates of the Caribbean, etc.), which really enhances gameplay! Now I have what to play untill RTR 6.0 comes out, yeah ~D .
IMO DarthMod 5.0 is the best mod to date! Try it - you"ll love it! ~D
Cheers and enjoy the game! ~
Numbers mean nothing - its all about skill and strategy
And the AI has neither skill or strategy.Quote:

It's truly pathetic.

me too, but in MTW these battles were an challenge. i had to use all my powers to win it. in RTW its easy, i slaughter them and loose 10 menQuote:

in RTR they also send army after army. i dont know what annoys me more, not getting attacked, or butchering 5 armies with 3000 men every turn, while loosing 0
I think not getting attacked irks me more.
If they get slaughtered, they are at least making an effort.
well maybe, check the dissapointment thread when it pops up later
How POSSIBLY can you win so easily?
Aren't yoy guys making this up?
I can barely win 2:1 odds!
No, you got the wrong nation there mate, he must be Chinese! Their the ones with the 200 million manned military...Quote:

He's only 14. Give him a break.
And I don't think I could win 2:1 odds on attack every time. (depends on troops of course.)
Defense is much easier.
2 to 1 in MTW was something(unless it was a Spanish Javelin spam army) not so much in RTW it seems.
hmm. oke but didn't he mant in that campaign. i mean if also rate myself as a 9 maybe 9.5, but i'm a veteran in MTW and in RTW. i can kick sum but, with no offense clayton but did you seriously meant that your overall stats are a nine or only in that campaign. i don't want to say youre a noob, but from the problems you have i can tell that a 9 is a bit tooooo highQuote:

That's not really true... Alexander fought armies many times his size. Miltides repelled the Persians at Marathon and then marched back to Athens to repel the Persian Fleet. Hannibal at Cannae won a battle outnumbered 2 to 1 by enveloping the superior Roman force.Quote:

Outnumbering an opponent causes alot of a problems too. Only so many troops can be fighting at a certain time. That's why envloping works. A smaller organized force engages an equal amount of enemies at any given time at the perimeter of the enemy mass, thus everyone at the center are jsut standing there doing nothing.
There're alot of factors influencing battle, numbers isn't everything.
for some reason it makes a difference he says. what a joker. and no the pilum isnt really overpowered it is just powerful. cuz it has armour piercing it only counts half the armour ratingQuote:

cuz they are infantry and not skirmishers. when attacking fire at will mode is annyoing.
Maybe you should make sure you got 3:1 odds?
Why do you guys keep feeding the troll?
Who? KSEG? He's slightly annoying but not trolling.
Though Catiline might say other wise....
