Most Prefered Shaving Method
Ok...
...I was shaving just now ( after 10 days or so :P ) and in combination with the fact that I am bored I decided to make this post :charge:
Ok what do you use to shave, is it :
Razor ( Disposable or not...)
Shaving Machine (The thing that goes Bzzzzz....)
Blade (The old fashioned choice...if you dont mind missing a nose or an ear )
You dont shave ( Too young, no facial hair)
To the ladies: I am sorry but this is a facial hair only topic, no legs... :)

Re: Most Prefered Shaving Method
A machine for ordinary days, a razor when I really want to look good.
-
Re: Most Prefered Shaving Method
A razor, something about having a machine do it bugs me....
Been shaving a few years BTW if that makes any difference at all.

Re: Most Prefered Shaving Method
No scissors option? ~

just kidding. Electric, for convenience, most days. Gillette Mach3 razor for good-grooming occasions.

Re: Most Prefered Shaving Method
Wax.
Oh wait...you meant face right? I agree with Kukrikhan. I like the speed of my old electric, but sometimes it is hard to get everything (under the back of the jaw for example).
And I was kidding about wax. Ick...shaving my legs. Thank God I'm not a chick.

Re: Most Prefered Shaving Method
Real men use sandpaper!! It gets all that hair off your face, and most of your skin!!

Re: Most Prefered Shaving Method
A knife, like john Rambo if I'm in touch with civilization, otherwise a sharp stone.

Re: Most Prefered Shaving Method
Can you explain the difference between a razor, a blade and a razor blade? I take by a blade you mean a straight edge razor like the barbers use unless your speaking of a knife. Getting a shve by the barber with a straight razor cannot be beat. Nothing else even comes close(pun intented) ~;)

Re: Most Prefered Shaving Method
Electric, but I was thinking about trying a razor somewhen.

Thats exactly what I mean by blade. Indeed it cannot be beat. I agree 100%...However I wouldnt dare try it...I am rather fond of my ears.. ~:)

Re: Most Prefered Shaving Method
Shaving? What is that... my mop, err, hair, will resist most chainsaws now ~

Re: Most Prefered Shaving Method
If my beard grow too long I chop it of with my good ol` battle-axe..
-
Re: Most Prefered Shaving Method
I use an electric, it's just so much less hassle than an razor.
-
Re: Most Prefered Shaving Method
Straightrazor, but I usually use a regular 2 bladed razor (only get one good shave out of each lol)
-
Re: Most Prefered Shaving Method
I'm too young to shave, but I have a quite proeminent moustache....
-
Re: Most Prefered Shaving Method
I use a razor exclusively these days. I used to use an electric shaver for normal days and a razor when I was going out on a romantic excursion etc.
Then again, some dates like the way a bit of stubble can be used to ... well ... PG13 and all, so never mind ... hehe.
-
Re: Most Prefered Shaving Method
I used electric exclusively for years but I`m done with that. Using only razor now and it`s much better.
-
Re: Most Prefered Shaving Method
I use a razor when I do shave, but I do try to limit my shaving as I get horrible shaving burns and I quite like looking in the mirror at myself when I have a beard - it fascinates me, tis great.

Re: Most Prefered Shaving Method
Razor. Electric only if I'm forced to. Otherwise I'll just steal yours!
-
Re: Most Prefered Shaving Method
Electric shaver. It's a lot easier...
-
Re: Most Prefered Shaving Method
If I shave then the Taliban’ll come get me. ~D
I do have a beard actually, but mostly because I’m lazy.

Re: Most Prefered Shaving Method
I have a beard, but I also shave my cheeks and moustache with an electric razor. Usually, though, I need to use a beard trimmer first, since I prefer not to shave often - if I don't, the razor will catch the hair and rip it out of my face.

Re: Most Prefered Shaving Method
Razor for me, Electric raxors tend to break on my facial hair, i have tried 3 and i killed them all so wet rasor shave for me. Have always wanted to try the straight blade barbour shave though.....
-
Re: Most Prefered Shaving Method
Electric for most occasions.
But a razor does give a better shave than an electric. And for some odd reason a razor fels refreshing.
-
Re: Most Prefered Shaving Method
Since I am a peon member it won't matter but..
a razor most days, electric followed by a razor for overgrowth.

Nonsense! In between sips of cognac and silver dishes of peeled grapes, we members love to hear what the peons do, even if it means we have to leave the luxury of the V.I.P. lounge to hear it, and even if we have to wash ourselves thoroughly afterward.
Why, just the other day I listened to a peon. It made me feel both generous and nauseated. Since decorum and genteel disportment is expected of all Members, I made a good show of hiding my disgust and gave the wretch a shilling. Oh, I know, he'll probably just spend it on gin and a doxie, but one must keep up appearances.
Most members won't admit it publicly, but a cabal of deaf-mute manservents are kept on hand to shave us after our scented baths and oiled rubdowns. Nothing relaxes a real Member like a proper deaf-mute shaving.

Re: Most Prefered Shaving Method
Gillette turbo just the razor head... don't attach it to the handle. This way you use the part that would attach to the handle... shorter grip, better control so faster, smoother shave.
I have also recently started to use shaving oils... very very good for those like me have sensitive skin.
Add a foam gel on top to get an even smoother shave that minimises razor burn.

Re: Most Prefered Shaving Method
Razor.Im traditionalist with shaving.Kind of afraid of those shaving machines. ~;)

Re: Most Prefered Shaving Method
Those of you who use razors, do you shave against the line or with it?

With it.I dont want my face to turn all red you know. ~;)

Re: Most Prefered Shaving Method
razor - but thinking about going to an electric.
With a Razor I can only shave every 3 days or my next is ripped open from razor burn.
and if I'm really lazy, I let it grow for like 1-2 weeks.
The wife likes it shaved all the time though.....so I might have to stick with electric so I can have a smooth face for when we *censored*.
*ahem*
-
Re: Most Prefered Shaving Method
So anything for the wife "ahem"? ~;)
-
Re: Most Prefered Shaving Method

Re: Most Prefered Shaving Method
An electric saves time and money (in the long run) and if you get a decent one then your wife will be very pleased I'm sure. ~D ~;)
-
Re: Most Prefered Shaving Method
I certainly hope these deaf-mute manservants warm their hands in heated water or leave them above burning coals, otherwise proper shaving and body waxing would be quite .. unpleasant.

Depends on the length.
One day - against the line
two days - first with and then against the line (normally)
For really good results I shave against the line on day two.
It helps to dampen the face with a really hot shower or cloth.
Those of you who use blades, how do use them without cutting
open your whole face? ~D

I love taking quotes out of context.
Razor. You can't get your face nearly as smooth with an electric.
