This is the OFFICIAL Imperialist Club thread. We are dedicated to the restoration of Empires and Monarchies non-constitutionally worldwide. The original thread was created by King Malcolm, and I give him full credit for the idea of the Imperialist Club. Co-founder was Henry V.

We are organized into zones, these are:

British Empire

German Empire

The America's Imperialists Underground

Other European Imperialists


There will be 2 officers for each zone, to control political movements, and cigar/beer shipments (FREE UPON JOINING!)

Regional Officer-handles recruitment, sigs, free beer, etc.

General- You all know what this guy does ~D

Really? The famous "Scotland Forever!" charge at the battle of Waterloo is where the saying is most famously from, when the Royal Scots Greys (2nd Dragoons) were charging the French, but had to go through the Highland Brigade. While the tune to "Rule Britannia!" was written by an Englishman, the words were written by a Scot. To me, they symbolise the fact that we, too hate the French and fought alongside the English in Waterloo, and unity of this great isle.

What is even more funny is that "God Save the Queen" was originally a French song.

I edited the posts, now you have to say what zone you want to be in, whether it is the nation where you live or the nation of your heritage.

Hooray, I see that in my absence this thread and the hopes of all Imperialists have been resurrected. I am currently in that abode of anti-imperialist, socialist, liberal, pro-european, republican and incompetence, known only as "France". However, upon returning to that haven from the EU, Switzerland, I will resume full duties in this noble club. Pity I missed Last Night of the Proms yesterday.

Well, Sir Henry, would you like to be assigned a General, or the Noble position of Co-Founder?

I think the title of Co-Founder suits me. I'll just lie back and let the natives do the work.... ~;)

I'm sure that that has been said many a-time before, but if this United Kingdom is to stand, then there must always be a House of Lords and a Monarchy... the United Kingdom cannot be a kingdom without a monarch, after all...
Labour will be out in a few years and I don't see the House of Lords going too soon. Also, who is going to abolish the monarchy? When the un-educated, arrogant lower classes (meaning those of the lower classes who are arrogant and un-educated, not that the lower classes are un-educated and arrogant) try to rise up, I shall be there to stop the heresy and defend this realm.

And King Louis may be right about privatisation-beyond-repair (partly thanks to Mr Blair, and the soon-to-be fully privatised Royal Mail), he can hardly say that France is a haven of Republicanism. What is this, the 5th republic in 2 centuries?

Why thank you and I not only care nothing if the Queen dies, but I wouldn't care if all of the monarchy died, it would be as if any other person had died. You know what is even better? An increasing amount of people agree with me plus those who don't are increasingly dieing out. ~D

Abolishing the hereditary peers is one thing, but the ConservaTories do not want to abolish the House. If I was in charge, I would make it an odd system of PR, with 70% or so of the House being of Parties, depending on the votes in the Election. But only party members with a life peerage can apply for a seat. The remainder of the seats are for the Lords Spiritual, the Lords of Appeal, and the Crossbenches (also selected from a list of life peers).

Now, if I may make this quite clear, our new primary motives (open to suggestions from the Founders, of course):

To install non-constitutional or constitutional monarchies in:

Germany (we have the Princes and Barons, why not Kaisers?)
France (we don't care if you don't want it!)
Ireland (Irish Kings)
other European countries

To support the Imperialistic (constitutional or not) governments of:

United Kingdom
Grand Duchy of Luxembourg
Monaco
Spain
Sweden
Greece

Don't forget Greece is the Hellenic Republic, we need the monarchy back there, perhaps Philip will be willing for that, and we can expand the Empire into the Hellenic Peninsula...

I'm sure that there will be enough support in France for a monarchy, they can't stay with one type of government for more than a century.

Ireland is to rejoin the United Kingdom...

I think perhaps Irish rule as a monarchy will fit the bill. :bow:

My (maternal) Grandfather would be the Earl of Donegal if my Great grandmother had been the eldest.
My late (paternal) Grandmother has a brother who is a laird in the North-East of Scotland.

I am descended (indirectly) from Schwaben nobility, and I have Prussian barons somewhere in the family line I think. There is even a (VERY slight) possibility I am related to the Margraves of Bradenburg.
