I'm the diet coke of geek. The 1 calorie Geek.
You are still geek enough, to have signed up on an obscure fan site of total war series and participating in a geek test, though :bow:Quote:

What is wrong with wearing a bum-bag?
On my last holiday I had a pair of binoculars in a small leather container with a bit of thick string that closes it when pulled. I took the binoculars out and put a bottle of water in, then attached it to my bum-bag. I put the bum-bag strap though the thick string and BAM, I did not have to carry my water. ~D
Some foreign person called me Indiana Jones. ~D
more then i thought :help:

The current average score is: 32.73%
Fact: 6.21% of people who took this test wear a bum-bag on holiday. What is a bum-bag, btw? :embarassed:
It's a little bag/purse type thing that you strap 'round your waist. I believe that the Americans call them fanny packs.
Those things are sad.
There is a guy in my class that wears one all the time. It's a pathetic site and a disaster of style every time he shows up. He's not even smart!
27.5 Damn it, just because I like Star Wars and Star Trek and Fantasy does not make me a geek!
Sadly, I do not have a girlfriend, despite the internet saying that I might. So it's all a lie! ~D

You have to think in "their" terms. For example, just because I like to get baked and watch the old "Star Trek" series (Shatner always cracks me up) does not mean I like Star Trek. (As a side note, Star Wars scares me when I am high; I don't know why.) But I have a feeling that if you like Floyd/Hendrix/Janis Joplin, consume various drugs (or just grass), and practice the general hippie lyfestyle, you can be considered a hippie. So mellow out.Quote:

Higher than I thought.
32.73% geek. I must have gotten knocked down a bunch by not wearing a bum-bag or belonging to a chess club. And who would have thought my scorn for MENSA would come back to bite me so hard?
I think we all deserve a 10% bonus just for being sad enough to take a geek test and then talk about it on a computer game fan website. I mean, if that's not geeky then I'm the king of the aarvarks.
[edit]
And what kind of geek test doesn't ask about your Slashdot habits? Whether or not you can read an IP address? Nary a mention of hexidecimal? I mean, come on ...

I suspect this test assumes that Geeks have to be smart rather than just plain old obsessed, so nay too brite Geeks like me get penalised heavily for not having the patience for Jigsaws, for thinking RAM is a male sheep and knowing they'd only embarass themselves if took a Mensa test....
I know I'm a Geek, and I don't care what any computer test says!
Does his wearing a bum bag affect you in a negative way? Most likely not, but it must look ridiculous.Quote:

A bum-bag is also known as a fanny pack, the male equivalent of a purse.

I don't know why they're called bum bags though, after all, you don't wear them that particular way round.

The birth weight of my son was 3.14 kg (Pi kgs).
This is a fan site for Totalwar and I am a moderator. And I consider a good chunk of you guys to be friends... maybe not that intimate and close, but certianly I would like to meet up with a lot of you guys if and when I next travel overseas (which will be at least another 18 years now ~ )
Been a Dungeon Master for DnD.
Won a competion for Maths at Uni. Did a Physics degree... you get to the point that you are not allowed to use a calculator, you must do it in your head.
There is a spelling error on the questionaire... WAR HAMMER is spelt WARHAMMER no space in between the R and H... and I use their forums too. ~
Been? You hung up the screen?
Edit: 65%. I'm surprised there no questions about dinosaurs - they're usually my "Geeky" trump card.
Kind of... went from the West Coast of Aus to the East Coast, and got married... kind of a spanner in the works for DnD... but my cunning plan is to teach DnD to my kids. ~D
An excellent plan - once a DM, always a DM. How long did you spend as such?Quote:
