What is your favorite place? Where would you like to live? Where would you like to visit? .........
I don't know what's my favorite but I wanna reside in Europe someday for a while; Italy, Spain or Greece to be exact. I know people there love to have fun and their culture is rich. A simple, small but convinient beach house will do just fine.
My favourite place is 3 yards to my left.
I would like to live many places -- have a vast country estate and stately home in the south of England; a substantial highland estate with a manor or castle; a town house in Edinburgh, Dundee, and London; an apartment in Paris and New York; a house on Ascension Island; A mansion (entitled the Governor's Mansion) on one of the British Territories or Dominions in the West Indies.
I want to visit St Petersburg, Rome, Milan, Venice, Florence, Marseilles, Vienna, and China.
Plenty of places. Cities I would like to visit one day include Istanbul, Madrid, New York, and others. Places like London, Vienna, Venice and Rome I've been to but would be great to visit again.
I too would want to see the piramyds of Giza, the Grand Canyon, the African savanah, the list goes on.
Great thread btw ~
Thanks.Quote:

Isolated in my room.
I would a like TARDIS, then I can go anywhere and any time.
Failing that, I would like a ship, not big ship, just enough for me and a few friends. I would sail all over the world and explore and learn and get into crazy adventures. A lot of the like the Doctor.
I would like to live in Scandivinia, Malta or the northern parts of Merseyide.
Something we both agree onQuote:

NYC seems pretty cool, but what do I know, I've never been there.
Somewhere warm. Though, my favourite place is where I am right now.
If I was so bored of my homeland that I had to move somewhere..Well, UK causelessly dominates my interest. And Japan, of course..Aah..
"What is your favorite place?"
At this point in my life, it would be a toss-up between:
- Desolation Wilderness near Lake Tahoe (a personal backpacking paradise)
- The mid-northern California coast, from Muir Woods to Eureka (my favorite spots in this area being Mount Tamalpais, Sea Ranch, St. Orres, and the town of Mendocino).
- My home town of Sacramento, California (mostly for sentimental reasons, but it is pretty much halfway between the other two favorite areas I mentioned)

Where would you like to live?
If I had unlimited means and could move wherever I wanted to right now, it would probably be to Petaluma or some other small town near there (not far from Santa Rosa, California). Then again, I love Sacramento too, so ... hmm ... .

Where would you like to visit?
1. Japan (again). Specifically, my birthplace (Camp Zama), Mount Fuji, Sekigahara, Osaka Castle, Kyoto, Nara, Musashi's grave site on Kyushu, Hiroshima and Nagasaki, and Sapporo, where my mother's side of the family still lives.
2. Ireland, Wales, Scotland and England; the Netherlands; France; Italy (the Tuscany region in particular); and Spain. One of my primary motivations for wanting to visit the UK, Netherlands, and Spain would be to meet and spend time with friends that I've made in this community.
3. For mostly hedonistic reasons (beaches, babes, beer, and Beauty etc.), I would enjoy visiting numerous islands in the Caribbean, Hawaii (Kauai again, and also the Big Island, Molokai, and Maui), Samoa, and the Fiji islands.

P.S. Turkey - especially the Aegean and Mediterranean coasts are generally sunshiny.. How 'bout that smiley ?
I'll be happy if you start forming coherent sentences.Quote:

I think time will let "things" grow..
This is why you should stay away from such words like "coherency".Quote:

I need to visit the other side of the Aegean. I just hope it doesn't have any "wolves". ;)
I'm sorry for this over-repeated clash that both disturbs the Frontroom, the dear fellows and for de-railing the topic...

Go get high, or just drunk if you want too. Meet the girls; love yourself a few. If you stay in your room, you will die a sad, lonely, decrepit death.
Lol, ok ... I changed my mind. At the moment I'd like to be on a beach with babes, and beer, and that had an outdoor boxing ring with ByzantinePrince in the red corner and LeftEyeNine in the blue!

Ahem !
I'm not in any ring, please.. Nor intending to fight. I thought it was over here ?
I do not intend to fight either. I see LEN for what he is, a typical turk. I should visit the place though. Maybe in two winters time I will. That should be fun.
My money's on the Turk. They're war machines, and if Greeks could beat Turks, they'd already have taken back their rightful land in the Aegean and the rest of Asia Minor, right?Quote:

I'd like to visit Venezuela where the tallest waterfall(Angel Falls) is. It's also where the huge tepuis are. I saw them from the National Geographic magazine.
Japan is a good place to live in if you're rich because they have everything (especially on electronics).
I'd like to visit places with old civilizations such as Khuzestan(Iran), Egypt, India, Athens, Rome, Angkor Wat(Cambodia), etc.
I heard Finland and Ireland are currently the best places to live.
BP,LEN
Please no arguing and insulting. This is not the place for this. If you want to fight please do it elsewhere away from the .org. When this thread was started it was designed for people who want to talk about their favorite places,... not for arguing. Anyway I at least saved Beirut some time by writing what he would most likely write. Thank you for understanding.
